Destroyed by an Asteroid: Last days on Earth, first hours in heaven

by Waldo De Kock

Craig Anderson likes his privacy and keeps to himself but when he finds out that an asteroid could end life on planet Earth, he decides to keep a diary of the events. He intends to make his diary public but unfortunately, it seems like no one will ever be able to read it as the asteroid causes the end of the world.

Although it is the end of the world, Craig and many other Christian believers are caught up in heaven. Here he meets God and various prominent figures from the Bible including Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He also meets angels and forgotten relatives from previous generations.

Heaven is a new world with different laws and many surprises. As the people spend time here, they realize that it is too late to make any changes to their lives on Earth, or is it? Purchase “Destroyed by an Asteroid" right now to enter Craig’s world.

I was hesitant to read this book as I generally don't like books which sound as if it might be science fiction. I was pleasantly surprised.
Although the author makes it clear from the onset that it is merely a story, it resonated deeply with me as a believer. The events in the first part are very plausible as it links very closely to the predictions of the end times I have read in the Bible.
The second part - although pure fiction - makes me look forward to being in heaven one day. I do, however, believe that heaven will exceed all my, and the author's, expectations.

For your first book this was brilliant and I can really see a hidden talent.A very interesting book that was very hard to put down. What a wonderful place Heaven would be.Although no person could tell what it would be in heaven this was an incredible possibility described in this book.
Thanks for a fantastic read Waldo

This novel was an excellent read. It really makes you realise that life is unexpected and we have to be ready at all times. The plot twist knocked me out of the park and I loved the family that was portrayed.

Destroyed by an Asteroid -Beautifully written book

"Destroyed by an Asteroid", is a tremendously witty and captivating novel that reminds us that life will be going on as usual for all humanity when Jesus finally returns for his own. It is very well thought out and the Asteroid representation is extremely captivating.
The book leaves one with the thought provoking reality of being ready for Christ's return.
