"Glico With Landmines"

This was a fun read! High school students play children's game--with a twist.
I had fun following the main character and see how she observes the game and comes up with an unique idea to win each game without breaking the rules.

The manga "Kakegurui--Compulsive Gambler" is what came to my mind as I read this.
It's not a deadly game so if you don't like gore you might enjoy!

Omg this was some of the most fun I have ever had reading a book. Seriously the games in this are so well done!! The four room poker, the insane rock paper scissors!!! Ahhh I couldn’t get enough. The main characters end up all being really well rounded and well utilized. There are definitely some ridiculous bits and some of the characters feel way too anime-y but I can forgive all of that for how unique the rest of the stuff was.

射守矢真兎 - the main character reminds me greatly of the MC in Kakegurui.

Each game designed based on childhood games/existing card plays, but with twisted rules and playing.

The more you read it, the more you would ask yourself, whether it’s really happening? Or it’s just your imagination?

最初の章を読んで、楽しいな面白いなと思ったけど、こう言う話があと4つもあるのか。仕掛けを知るのはワクワクするけど、ワンパターンだし、これ最後まで読めるかなと心配だったけど、第3章くらいから止まらず、最後までスカッと読めた。ゲームも面白かったけど、主人公たちのストーリーが浮き彫りになったのが1番の完読した理由。ゲームの仕掛けはお見事。

謎な題名に惹かれて図書館で予約。やっっっと順番が回ってきた。
が...
パズル解くのがメインフォーカスの少年漫画のあらすじみたい。
(イメージとしては、「ライアーゲーム」みたいな？ドラマしか見た事ないけど)
登場人物達も変に凝った名前だし、ますます一昔前の漫画っぽい。
なので、「ストーリー」的には全然魅力を感じない。

最終的には旧態依然な私立学校の変なシステムをぶっ壊す！みたいな革命精神っぽい事になってるけど、正直どうでもよくなってしまう。

この作家の「早朝始発の殺風景」は結構好きだったが、他の作品はあんまりだな...
