This is a book that stays with you. It's written in short chapters so it's fast-paced. It's not a fun summer read that takes place in Key West. The author creates a darker version of the Keys with well-rounded and realistic characters. From the first few pages when we learn that Erin will be going off her meds we know the story will be interesting.

I have no trouble giving the book five stars because it doesn't disappoint. I think the author is quite talented because I just kept turning the page.
