After working remotely for a few months with little supervision, it became clear to me that my procrastinative (is that a word? lmao) habits were not sustainable. I bought this book since it was referenced by the ADAA and the author's credentials are strong.

I'm going to update this review in April after I've had an opportunity to put the recommended strategies into practice for some time. The advice in the book seemed really good, but obviously there's no way to know for sure until I try it out. Until then, I'm going to hold off on giving this book a star rating.

I gave this a 4 not because it is groundbreaking or particularly awesome, but because it delivers on the thesis in a manageable, doable way. As a therapist, this would be a great tool to give someone who needs some help. Yip's writing is clear, her advice concrete. It is CBT, so it wouldn't the for everyone but overall, the quick presentation and interjection of examples makes this a useful tool..
