4 Flirty Stars



Who doesn't love a good, fast, flirty read? This is like a the Mustang of books. A red Mustang. Cute, sexy and ready to rev your engines. Don't get me wrong here....I know jack crap about cars. But I do love a red Mustang. Convertible. This is book is a top down, wind in your hair, kinda book. "Top down"...sounds kinda dirty. I likey.


We first met Pepper in Broken Book #1. She is the BFF of Andi. You remember Andi....can't keep her panties on? Pepper is the opposite of Andi. She is out of college, working at her dream job, cute, sassy and still a virgin. Yep...you heard me. She had a traumatic experience with a guy in high school and has just been hanging out with the gals ever since.


Jordan is the brother of Andi's boyfriend. So he is thrown together with Pepper. And he doesn't mind in the least. Jordan is an architect hottie. He is attracted to Pepper in a way he is not used to. He wants to take care of her, protect her.....and take her bed of course. Duh.


When we kissed, I'd gotten to see the hot, sexual side of her. That side was my favorite.


Jordan and Pepper have a sassy, snarky relationship. There is great banter, great heat, some funny moments and some "who did he just punch?" moments. But that whole bad high school experience thing. Its not over. Jordan is going to get the opportunity to take care of Pepper more he knows. Maybe more than he's ready for.


This is a good read for spring...it will warm you up after that long winter. Maybe sit outside. Drink a fruity drink. Get some new flip flops. And take a flirty ride with the top down.

Wrong is book two in the Breaking the Rules series by K. Webster. This book can be read as a standalone, but I do feel the knowledge provided in the first book, Broken, does enhance the story. Plus, Broken is an Amazing book so why would you skip it! Wrong follows Pepper, Andi’s best friend and roommate, and Jordan, Jackson’s brother and business partner. Wrong is full of drama, action and tons of steamy scenes that will get your panties in a twist (if you’re wearing any!)

Pepper is beautiful, smart and downright bitchy! She has a past that holds her back and has left her a grown woman who has only been kissed once and scarred to the point of avoiding all forms of dating. High school was rough for the nerdy girl who had a reputation she didn’t deserve and because of it she prefers to be alone and uses her attitude as a defense mechanism. For me Pepper was a great heroine just broken enough that you feel for her but stronger than she ever lets on. I loved her sass and the fact that she could give it out to anyone who she thought had it coming!

Jordan is a strong, sexy, confident businessman who isn’t afraid to go after what he wants, and what he wants is Pepper! Jordan is instantly attracted to her and her smart mouth and goes to great lengths to ensure he can spend more time together. I loved how Jordan was both a controlling Alpha but also when needed a very sensitive and loving man! He was just the right mix of it all to be the perfect Sex God Book Boyfriend! LOVED him and want more of him!

Pepper and Jordan have strong chemistry! You could see it in the first book and it is even more intense in this one! Pepper doesn’t take crap from anyone but when Jordan tells her what to do in that sexy way he doe,s she (like all us HOT bloodied women) melt and caves! When he throws her over his shoulder, SWOON!

Reading this book took me through a myriad of emotions. I felt deeply for Pepper’s past and watching Jordan tear down the walls she had built up filled me with glee! This book has a fair amount of action with an man from Pepper’s past coming back and causing all kinds of trouble. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out how it all played out and I am so glad that I didn’t put it down!

Wrong is a quick read at under 200 pages but it didn’t feel too short to me. I think all of the story lines were well played out and I was very pleased with the book as a whole! I love this series and can’t wait for Olive’s story too!

I freakin' loved this book. I am in the process of writing my proper review but amazon couldn't wait. You all need to get this series. It's sizzling! Her characters are completely loveable, swoon worthy, funny, sexy and everything in between.

This is a series not to be missed!!

Well done to my wonderful Kristi on yet another fantastic story!

well, the 2nd part is way better then the 1st, I gotta say.
and it is again written in a fairytale-ish way, at least I had such a feeling in the end
the hot, stunning almost alpha, troubled but sassy and bold woman, a lot of hot sex, love, some serious trouble along the way, and HEA, all wraped up with a shiny fairytale-ish ribbon!

Meh...book two was pretty much a flop for me.

This story focuses on Andi's BFF, Pepper, who links up with Jackson's brother, Jordan.

The beginning took off like a rocket, and I was excited to see where things were going to go with Jordan and Pepper. But after a day of meeting her, Jordan was willing to throw $600K of his fast dwindling bank account at a museum gala simple to force Pepper to be his date. He was not financially stable to be making such a dumb donation, no wonder Compton Enterprises was being run into the ground. From there, it just go mushier and musher, and when Jordan became "Jordie" and Jackson, "Jackie," I was pretty much done. What happened to the hot Compton brothers?

I was also hoping for a bit more suspense with the psychopath Cole, who was out for revenge against Pepper, but he often seemed like more of any after thought that a real threat.


While the series started off strong, I don't think I'll be finishing, but I will most definitely read other books from this author.

Wrong is the second book in the Breaking The Rules Series, following Broken. This story follows Pepper and Jordan.

I can say that this book was exceptional. I was unable to put it down!! From the prologue, I was completely wrapped up in the story.

Excuse my language, but...Pepper is a bitch! She doesn’t take any crap from anyone and she will certainly put you in your place. She doesn’t get close to anyone other than her best friends Andi and Olive. What we learn right from the beginning, is that Pepper does this to protect herself. She has had to deal with a horrible past that no one knows about. She is trying to deal with her past by herself. She has no interest in a love life. She actually avoids it at all costs. When she meets Jordan, he is determined to break down her walls.

Jordan is a carefree sweetheart, who will have you swooning from the very beginning. He is charming, sexy, and has an unbelievable heart. He is completely taken with Pepper from the beginning and he will do anything it takes to have her let him in.

“Babe, why won’t you let me in?”
His voice cracked a bit, making me look up at him. The emotion on his face made my heart flutter. Jordan was a really good guy. I don’t know why I had to give him such a hard time.
“Because I don’t know how. I don’t know how to let anyone in. Andi and Olive only see what I want them to see and they’re my best friends”

Pepper has to try and move on from her past in order to have a future with Jordan. She tries to overcome her past, but sometimes the past just doesn’t want to go away.

Jordan and Jackson are dealing with the mess they have inherited with Compton Enterprises. This is becoming more stressful and involved then Jordan had even imagined it would be.

The whole gang is back in this book. Which of course I loved because I adore each and every one of them. I thought it was brilliant how K Webster had the first book, Broken, weaved throughout this book. It made things so interesting to see what was happening with Jordan and Pepper while we were paying attention to Andi and Jackson. Bray and Olive also have their place in this book that leaves you wondering.

Of course the book also has the panty melting sex that we fell in love with in Broken. The sex is just so HOT HOT HOT!!

There were so many surprises in this book. I was not expecting a lot of it to happen and I love that. Keeps it exciting. I laughed and cried. My heart was literally pounding in my chest while I bit my nails. It was heart breaking and then healing.

Wrong surpassed my expectations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book. If you have read Broken, you absolutely need to read this.

Another solid 5 stars!

Looking forward to the next book in the series because K Webster keeps "hitting out of the park".

PEPPER!!!!! I have been waiting for her!!! I fell in love with her snarky and feisty character the first time I met her in Broken, and I was desperate for her story. Thank goodness I didn’t wait that long for her.

She’s beautiful, smart, well-loved by her family and her friends but wasn’t really a social butterfly. I knew there was something behind this façade of hers, something that initiated the ‘bitchiness’ attitude – but I never expected that it all started from one single awful night. She learned how to protect herself by building a façade around her heart and keeping everyone away. She doesn’t really date, until Jordan came into her life.

Unlike Jackson, Jordan was more laid-back. He’s a hard-worker who would do anything to restore their company. He doesn’t have time to date anyone, until Pepper came along. She rocked his world, and make his life more interesting than ever. She was everything he ever needed, the perfect distraction to his mundane, stressful life. He will do anything to have her, problem is, she doesn’t seem to feel the same way.

Now Jordan starts to break into her walls, and the more they spend time together, the weaker she becomes. And subtly, Jordan found his way not just into her bed, but in her heart as well. Just when everything seems perfect, her past came back to haunt her, and this time seeks retribution.

As for their company, finally, I have an answer as to what happened and the person behind it. It still came as a surprise. But because Jackson and Jordan were hard workers and have done everything to run the company, help came unexpectedly.

I just knew I would love both characters when it was time for their story. Pepper a.k.a Elizabeth may have closed herself off, but Jordan’s effort was totally worth it. He would do anything, and everything to keep her safe. It didn’t really matter when their small world collides and complication arises when he found out who her father is, he still wants her.

Again, I was in for a short, sweet, sexy read that had me on my seat. From the cover, down to the last page, I was engrossed, and enthralled at the same time. I loved the twist, the steamy scenes and the surprises and I can’t wait for Olive’s turn for her HEA.

This is Breaking The Rules #2 and it’s Pepper’s story! We met Pepper in Broken and we know she’s fierce and shy all rolled into one. She doesn’t date, doesn’t want a relationship, she hides her beauty behind drab clothes to ensure she doesn’t attract attention.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work as Jordan (sexy Jackson’s brother) sees right through it…

Right at the beginning of Wrong we find out why Pepper is like she is, I wont go into details, lets just say she was hurt by a guy in high school and now in her 20’s still hasn’t got over it. Pepper is a Bitch – with a capital B – and proud of it!

"If feeling awesome for what I’d just done made me a bitch, then I definitely loved being one.”

Jordan is just yummy, he’s a proper ‘good guy’ he wants Pepper and goes around it all the right ways, he wines and dines her, seduces her, looks after her and loves her, gradually breaking down her walls.

They do have one or two hiccups…trying not to reveal spoilers - Jordan’s first meeting with Peppers dad had me inhaling in horror whilst laughing out loud.
And the fact that Jordan is trying to save his and Jackson’s business from his dad’s illegal dealing and also that Pepper seems to be being stalked by someone desperate to ruin her life…Oh and I almost forgot her sleazy boss…

“Now, Calvin, calm down. I don’t know what’s going on with you two, but Jordan is a nice young man. And I hate to remind you, but he is also your daughter’s boyfriend,”

“There is a guy who has been threatening me. I actually received another one of his threats today before the gala. It wouldn’t hurt for the police to look into him.”

But when Pepper does finally allow Jordan in sparks fly!

God, it’s so hot when you pick me up. You’re such a man,” she purred.
I chuckled at her words. “I’m about to show you exactly how manly I am,” I said confidently, carrying her into the bedroom.”


There’s a lot standing in the way of a fragile couple like Pepper and Jordan, I’m not sure they can make it…you’ll have to read to find out!!

Watch out for #3 in this series Scarred…I’m pretty sure we might be getting Olive’s story.

Wrong is the second book in K. Webster’s Breaking the Rules Series and is every bit as satisfying as the first book, Broken. I absolutely loved everything about Broken and could not wait to get my hands on Wrong. This story follows Pepper (Andi’s roommate) and Jordan (Jackson’s brother). While I think this could be read as a standalone, readers will get a better grasp on the characters if they read both books. Besides, the first book was fantastic so you won’t want to miss out.

I loved Pepper because her life is so different than Andi’s. She was damaged as a teen and has never recovered from that traumatic incident. Jordan has set his sights on her and wants nothing more than to be with her, however, she has no intention of giving in to his advances. He makes it his mission to show her how incredible their connection could be. I loved their relationship dynamic and watching how hard he had to work to prove himself worthy. Sparks flew and their chemistry was thick. There is never a dull moment with this pair.

The plot kept me engaged from start to finish. This is so much more than a romance about a guy winning the affections of a girl. This story is about healing from your past and writing past wrongs (even those not committed by yourself). Pepper’s struggle is deeply personal but Jordan’s pertains to his father’s indiscretions within the company he and Jackson inherited. Both characters must tidy the messes created long ago without crumbling under the pressure. I loved getting to know Jordan and Pepper and getting a glimpse into the lives of Andi, Jackson, and other characters I was introduced to in Broken.

I absolutely cannot wait for the next installment in K. Webster’s Breaking the Rules Series. I was enamored by Broken and captivated by Wrong. K. Webster has become a favorite author of mine and I highly recommend treating yourself to these novels. They’re full of romance, drama, and off the charts passion that any reader will enjoy.

Book: Wrong (Breaking The Rules #2)

Pepper is a beautiful, strong woman and man does she have some attitude to go with her. She has been burned in the past and she is determined to never let that happen again, so in turn she pushes away any potential suitors that come along. To say Pepper has an armored heart is a bit of an understatement and I fell in love with how much punch she packs and it’s so good to see a great female character who can stand up for herself. I, of course, fell in love with Jordan right away; he was the perfect mix between a confident, in control man, to a loving, passionate one. No one can deny the magnetic relationship these two have and I just wanted more and more.

I went through so many emotions in this book and it kept me hooked the whole time. This book has the perfect amount of stubbornness, emotion, chemistry, and conflict. I definitely didn’t want to put it down. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and I am most definitely a fan of K. Webster and the beautiful, rounded character she creates in her writing. This book has certainly left me wanting to read more from this author.

I would recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a great, emotional, sexy read. This book will not disappoint and it will certainly get you hooked from the very beginning. You will be left wanting more even after you’ve turned the last page.

Wrong by K. Webster is the second book of the Breaking the Rules series. Now you don't have to read the first book Broken because this can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading Broken just because it's good too!

Okay so in Wrong we get to see what's up with Pepper who is Andi's from Broken's best friend since college. Pepper is a smart mouth sassy as she is adorable. She's the kind of girl that you think is a push over by looking at her with her hair in a bun and her big black frame glasses but make no mistake....that girl has the power to punch.

Problem here is that Andi's boyfriend Jackson who Pepper can't stand ( I really think sometimes she likes him for the sake of Andi) whatever....has a brother Jordan. Jordan and Jackson took over their father's business after his death running an architect firm. Both son's have had their hands full with trying to get the business back in order after the passing of their father.

Jordan from the moment he sees the pert little Miss Pepper he is a goner...and I do mean goner. Jordan is hooked, lined and sunk with Pepper and he will do whatever he has to go make Pepper his!

Pepper on the other hand can be a bitch to Jordan but that is because of something that happened to her while she was still in high school and she won't forget it ever!....Poor guy. Jordan bends over and over again and again for Pepper until she finally concedes.

Good story, highly enjoyable and I personally enjoy K. Webster's writting.

This book has helped me discover that maybe everyone is broken a little in their own way. Naturally when said bad thing happens you want to protect yourself, be a stronger person, never be that weak again. While these things have nothing to do with why it happened, you can't help but to feel guilty in some way. So instead of letting it break her, Pepper built up walls using the incident and everything surrounding it to become a completely different person. She may be extremely intelligent and strong, and maybe seem like an ice queen, but that's just her protecting herself. If she never lets anyone in will she ever find love? If a certain determined man that wants only her love, happiness, and safety has anything to do with it, he'll find out what makes her closed off from any relationship and do his best to break down her walls and make her whole again. What happens when the past follows you? And what if it finds you? The only way you'll find out is if you read this book!! BUT you have to read Broken first. Really great series and I can't wait For Olivia's story!!

I have a serious girl crush on Pepper. Oh…and on Jordan. So I guess it’s more of a couple crush!
This story is in tandem in time with Andi and Jackson’s romance in the first book Broken.

Jordan is Jackson’s older brother and partner in their company. Passionate and won’t take no for an answer. Once he sets his sights on Pepper the fun begins.

Pepper is Andi’s best friend. She seems to have it all together. Yet she has her heart and secrets on tight lock up.

Her inner monologue is hilarious. As is his-as well as what he actually says out loud. The attraction between them is intense-I love how surprised they are by it. And some seriously hot sex scenes :) Caveman Jordan-yum!

This is one of my favorite story types where one of the characters has to believe-in love and trust. Watching them fall in love, all the while figuring out the mystery is wonderful.

Perfect ending-so much swoony romance!

A fast read, kept me turning the pages.

Love the families and friendships as well. Can’t wait to see what happens with Olive and Bray!

I fell in love with the Breaking the Rules series with the story of Andi and Jackson in Broken. We got a glimpse of Pepper and Jordan in Broken so I couldn't wait to read Wrong. K. Webster did not disappoint!

Pepper is a naturally gorgeous and feisty intelligent woman that doesn't take anyone's crap. Jordan is a delectable fun loving hunk of a man that has brains and is a successful business man. Jordan is open to the attraction between him and Pepper....Pepper isn't so open to the idea of a relationship. We learn that Pepper has a reason to be apprehensive of any man that shows interest in her and Jordan is ready for the challenge.

This story is full of surprises and lovable characters. The chemistry between Jordan and Pepper was electrifying and the sex scenes were super HOT!

If you want to read an adorable love story with some twists and turns with plenty of spicy love, this is the book for you!

This book is jammed packed with just the right amount of love, sex and angst……..
I devoured this book in one sitting….. I wanted/ needed Pepper’s story since I read Broken….. I was not disappointed and loved this story.
Pepper is a strong, independent catty, bitchy woman on the outside….. This is her way of protecting her frail, broken inside.
Jordan is a strong, sexy, businessman who crashes into Pepper’s life…. Slowly he starts to break down her walls and gets to see the real pepper….. He just wants to protect her….
I love Jordan and Pepper….. This book takes you on a bumpy journey and will keep you gripped and wanting more.
I look forward to release of Scarred……. The third instalment in this great series…..

Wrong by K. Webster is the second book in her Breaking The Rules series. What an amazing story. Pepper is such a strong and beautifully broken woman and Jordan is the perfect man to draw her out from behind her barricades.

This story could almost be sub-categorized as a thriller in parts. very exciting with some majorly unexpected twists and the wonderful happily ever after. K. Webster has done it again and I'm excited to read more in this series and from this author.

WOW!!! Pepper (Elizabeth) and Jordan are wow!!!! Great Great Great Story! I understand why Pepper is the way she is ... I LOVE Jordan for opening her up to see that she isn't who she is pretending to be!!! The twists in the story! I just KNEW who the "lawyer" was and boy was that funny shit when I ended up right!!! I loved this story a tad bit more than Broken ... and to say that I am BEYOND FUCKING INTRIGUED as to what happened to Olive is a mild understatement! Can't wait to see what her and Bray get into!!!!

I really enjoyed Jackson and Andi's story in Broken but I have to say that I enjoyed reading Wrong about Jordan and Pepper much more. The story line was genuine and Jordan's feelings for Pepper were expressed from the beginning. He helped her get over the past and what happened to her as well as saving her life. I cried, laughed and fell in love with this story. I want more on Jackson and Jordan now.

Wrong... Jordan and Pepper aka Elizabeth's story

I really enjoyed this story. Pepper Jones is found in the beginning of this story in her senior year of high school. The star football player she thought was hitting on her. He was hitting on her to get her to tutor him in a class he was failing. He decided he wanted to see if he could have sex with her when he went to get her help in the calculus. Her father had to pull Cole off of his daughter. So this begins Pepper's story. Pepper goes to college graduates and is now working as an assistant production manager at the MOA (Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is roommates with Andi and Olive. This story is filled with drama. I decided to read this book 📚📖 which had been sitting in my Kindle and I am glad I did. This was a good read and I highly recommend it.

This is amateur hour. So happy K. Web up her game cause this series is painful. Knowing this is her early work show the tremendous growth within a few year’s time. Dirty toy was fab and made me an instant fan which was published in 2016 so I appreciate how Ms. W developed into a great storyteller. As well as embraced her darker storylines. Unfortunately for me I purchased this series so I’ll attempt to read about Olive and Bray. I can only hope this book is halfway decent...NEXT!

I enjoyed this story about Pepper and Jordan. Pepper is a class A bitch. She wants to run the show no matter what it is. When she meets Jordan, he tricks her into a dinner date and that's not all he's going to trick her into. He is going to run their date and their future.

Pepper is lost when it comes to Jordan. He's a successful businessman and he runs his own company. He is not going to let a woman run his world and he's decided on Pepper. She has her own problems at work and Jordan is right in the middle of them.

This story dug a little deeper and was a bit edgier than the first book. It tackled so many obstacles, but it never strayed away from the man point— pepper and Jordan finally getting it on.
This story was solid, and addictive. This couple was beyond magnetic, and the way Jordan figured his girl out and learned to handle her, was absolutely adorable, and fun to read about. I would definitely recommend it, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Another great story that grabs you and keeps you till the end. Pepper had a rough time in high school. Something tragic happen to change her life. Now years later she is one determined woman to never show weakness. She never knew what hit her when Jordan entered her life. He took her one whirlwind adventure to show her how a real man treats a lady. This story is action pack and so good.
