Um, hi. Yes, I wrote this book, so of course I'm going to love it.
But seriously.
I love this book.

**clears throat**
So I would now like to share some of my favorite lines:

“Well, look at you,” he said, pointing. She followed his finger and looked down but only saw a cream-colored turtleneck over a black wool skirt. “You’re hardworking, sensible, and obviously want to get married,” he continued. “Pretty much the antithesis of every woman I've dated.”

I absolutely loved this book. It was lighthearted, witty, charming, engaging, and at times had me smirking at the banter between the hero and the heroine.

My Thoughts: I liked how the hero and heroine's relationship developed gradually over time. Both of their feelings and opinions about one another gradually changed during the course of the book. They both were astonished when they finally realized t

This was really cute!

Sabrina is on a temporary break from her fiancé David, who is trying to figure out if he really wants to marry her. While I would have run the other way, Sabrina decides to wait patiently for him to make up his mind. Meanwhile her sexy co-worker Jack is in need of an image make-over in order to get a promotion. Jake makes a deal with Sabrina, he'll pose as her fake boyfriend to make David jealous and she'll pose as his fake girlfriend to help him look more respectable and n

I thought this one was darling! When I was young, I loved to watch Looney Tunes. One of my favorites characters was Pepe Le Pew, the French skunk. I loved how he would chase that poor cat around, trying to force her to love him. He was so suave and persistent and she was so wide-eyed and innocent. In some strange way, this book reminded me of those characters.

Jack is a very experienced man. He's the type of man who dates the flavor of the week--a different girl at every turn. He's got to settle

Funtasmic! The characters were great! And I really enjoyed the unique plot with the superstitions.
Poor Sabrina is hung-up on the fiancé (or ex fiancé) and ultimately gets help to win him back from the last person she wants: Jack Brenner, her boss's son.
The interactions between Jack and Sabrina were fun and highly charged. So glad I got a sneak peak at this book before it was released!

I've been on a chick-lit kick lately, and this is a fun one!

Sabrina Cassidy is sure that stable, family-oriented, handsome and kind David is her destiny. He was her fiance until he decided he needed a temporary break. Her parents died when she was young and she was raised in different foster homes - never feeling like she belonged. So she really craves a family of her own, and is willing to do just about anything to get her fiance back.

Jack Brenner is passionate about his family and his father's

A good book to read when you're in the mood for a book that's short, cute and fun to read.
But there's nothing really unique in the plot. I've seen many books with fake-to-real relationships like this on Wattpad alone.

This book gets five swoonworthy stars from me. I haven't read anything by Jennifer Shirk before, but that's about to change because if her previous offerings are half as good as this, I'll be a happy woman. Sweet light romance is combined with humour and touching heartfelt moments making Fiancé by Fate a perfect read.

Sabrina Cassidy's Fiancé has just broken off their engagement. No reason, just wants a bit of space i.e he is a douchebag. She has faith he's still the one and after visiting a cra

What a fun story! I fell in love with the characters from the very first pages with the witty banter between Sabrina and her best friend Maddie. Sabrina is hardworking, loyal and superstitious. She believes that fate will eventually bring her and her ex-fiancé back together after he breaks off their engagement and wants to take a hiatus from their relationship. During a weak and crushing moment, Jack walks into her life and proposes a plan that will help both of them reach their goals and get th ...more

I fell in love with Fiance by Fate! It was fun, flirty, and full of witty banter. Sabrina decides to patiently wait for her ex-fiance who just needs some 'time' to make sure he is ready for marriage. Now me, I would run the other direction if my fiance had already proposed and then decided he needed more time to be ready! Really? Anyway, Sabrina is convinced they are so right for each other but she continues to see him with this other woman.

I really enjoyed this funny and romantic romance! Sabrina's superstitions lead her to believe her finance (who just broke up with her) is THE one and that they are meant to be together. The problem is how to convince him that.
Enter one sexy and witty Jack Brenner from her office workplace. He just so happens to need to change his reputation of a playboy and who better than little Miss Perfect Sabrina to help him.

Once again, Jennifer doesn't disappoint.

Sabrina has just been told by her fiance that he wants some space. She goes with her friend to a fortune teller, desperate for some direction in her life. Fiancé by Fate is a must read by Jennifer Shirk. Sabrina Cassidy believes she met her fiance by fate. When he wants to take a break she feel fate will bring them back together. What a cute story, I loved Jack and Sabrina:
She looked back up, willing her eyes on his and not his body. "Uh, Jack, where exactly did you sleep last night?"
A lazy grin swept over his rugged face. "With you."
Jack he has some damn fine smooth moves, "he chuckled, finding her reaction to being touched by him particularly interesting. "I'm hardly going to take advantage of you in broad daylight in the middle of work. Unless you want me to, of course." Also they tend to find themselves in comprom

I got an early reader copy of this book & said I'd give an honest review. I really loved this book.

The characters were well rounded, had real foibles like all of us and best of all, made me wish I knew them in real life.

Sabrina and Jack make a fun couple even though it's supposed to be a fake relationship. Sabrina and David, not so much. I didn't care for David, but that's not a bad thing, he isn't supposed to be the greatest guy ever. Jack's dad was great!

If you want a fun read, something that

It was fun to read and their witty banter always made me smile. I read the whole thing in practically one day and had a really hard time waiting to post my review (so it'd be after the release date-some sites don't let you review something that isn't out). Definitely one I'd recommend! I'm planning on picking up more of her books now.

Very fun story that kept me totally entertained. They were just suppose to pretend to be a couple so he could get ahead at his job and she could make her ex jealous. You will want to read this one to see how things could get turned around! Highly recommended read.

I really enjoyed this book! It is a feel good story...the characters are honest and truly endearing. I fell in love with Jack and in all honesty...I loved his father! Such a fun storyline! I only wanted her to figure out sooner what a jerk David was! Totally sucked me in! Enjoy!

Fun! Review to come

Content: mild language, one of my blog reviewers described it as "steamy clean" which I thought was a perfect description. Lots of innuendo and kissing but nothing more happens.
This is a really fun enemies to lovers/ fake relationship story. The banter is great.
I think this book was supposed to be cute, but to me any book that evokes feelings of pity for the heroine aren't that great IMO. I am all for clueless, adorable heroine, but this one just seemed deluded and kind of sad. The heroine was a product of the foster care system and wants a family bad. So when her fiancee who she has been with for 3 years asks for a break, she is happy to but still builds air castles of their future. She is deluded, and thinks they are fated, even when he seems to be o ...more

I would have to agree with the author that I loved this book. So, I must really calm down. Or I’ll start screaming from this intense passion I’m feeling from reading this. Or start popping the question to the book’s cover, pretending I’m the girl there being held by Jack.
This book is really, very, loveable.

Oh my goodness, I LOVED this book. Seriously, just so adorable I can't even. LOVED Sabrina and Jack's story so hard.

Okay, full review time. This story is about Sabrina and Jack. Sabrina is on a "break" with her fiance and is desperate to have him back. After all, fate told her that they're meant to be together. Enter Jack, bachelor oh so hot and in need of a makeover. His dad, and board of directors, thinks that he needs to settle down, even though Jack doesn't believe in marriage. So he does t

I thought this book was adorable and fun. The wit and tension was great and I couldn't get enough of Jack. At first, I didn't think I was going to like Sabrina at all...because who is told by their fiancé they need a break to figure out if they're right for each other...and not only is she waiting around for him, but she's actually formulating a plan to hurry along the process to get him back!! I would have kicked him to the curb so fast his poor confused head would be spinning. BUT...then I rea ...more

I found this to be a really cute, enjoyable quick read. Sabrina and Jack had really good banter and chemistry, it definitely made it easy to root for them and hope they got their happy ending. Both of them were really well written characters and it was refreshing that this wasn't a love at first sight and that their feelings developed over a few months, and that we actually got to see their feels change on page and not just told they changed.

3 ½ stars. The first half was really good. The last third or so was common and predictable.

There is the big-misunderstanding-break-up because they don’t tell each other how they feel. That conflict is so overused in romance. I wish the author did something different. But it was a happy ending and still worth reading.

My favorite romances have a couple starting out not liking each other, which is what this is about. I enjoyed the arguing and insults. Then it was fun to see them slowly change their

I'm a sucker for sweet novels about fake relationships since, well, you know how the book almost always ends. But this was a refreshing and fun read. The content was clean except for a few mild swear words (nothing more than what you hear on TV nowadays) and no sex scenes. Just steamy kissing scenes that make for a great romance novel. I always enjoyed the dialogue between the two main characters. They seem to have just right chemistry whether they are sparring verbally or locked in one another' ...more

This is a great sweet romance that I didn't want to put down. It's fun and light and the banter made me laugh out loud. I’ve got to say that I normally wouldn’t pick up a book about a woman who visits a fortune-teller to find out whether her on-hold engagement will be on again, but I was impressed by how the author mirrored readers’ differing perspectives with those of various characters. I love how the attraction snuck up on the hero, and how believably the romance evolved between these two see ...more
