I am giving this book 5 stars, because I like the way Lyn writes out her instructions better than some others. This book is patterns for edgings, doilies, and little motifs that are fairly easy to understand. Note that if you need a refresher on basic tatting techniques, you will not find it in this book. It is strictly patterns, with a brief history of tatting in the introduction. The diagrams and large color photos are fairly clear. There's nothing terribly exciting in here, as far as tatting patterns, the cover photos are a pretty good clue as to what you'll find in here.

Here is another one of my tatting books that I like. I have a lot, so it's not like I'm reading these, but use them for different projects that I make.

It was not that great. All the info on how to tat is available online and the patterns aren't that great.
