This is a fabulous book for any knitter like me who loves small projects that can be completed within a couple of hours or so. All the toilte roll covers are fun and will brighten up any smallest room. They also make excellent presents. My favorite is the pig, but then as a pig owner I'm biassed. The patterns are easy to follow and well laid out.

I got this to make a gag gift for a friend, but there are some really cute things and I can see why our grandmas all made loads of these.

Patterns are both knit and crochet. I am a little surprised that most of the knit patterns are knit flat and then sewn instead of worked in the round, which seems more complicated/difficult than necessary.
