Ooooh man. This was just as good as the first one!! I love how Maddox comes around and really shows his love for her. And Caspian?! That was a twist... Did I see that coming? Probably not lol. I love how he has favorite bonded brothers lol, especially Gage! We all love Gage. He's so damn sweet, but he is definitely coming out of his shell. I need to know what happens after they get kidnapped 😳😳. Oh my God, the cliffhanger!! Can we not wait until 2025?! Like, can we have the book NOW!! LOL.
Read this series immediately!!!

Once again SE Alexander has given us an absolutely fantastic book! I LOVED how she was able to bring all of the characters to life, show each of their personalities, keep the story going from the first page of Marked Legacies through to the last page of Vengeful Legacies - and I'm positive she'll keep it going through Mended Legacies (TBA). This book has everything - it's funny, has some action, some emotional parts and of course some spice. I love how each of the characters grow throughout the book and the story just keeps getting better and more intense. That cliffhanger - wow - just wow... can't wait to see what's next!

Well cheesecake now has a whole new meaning. If you thought the found family in book one was enough, this book will have your heart bursting with the love of scars new expanding family. Her found family just keeps getting bigger and better.
The mom hug had me sobbing. It was such a special moment between Donna and Scarlett and honestly something scar needed.

Book two had so many good funny parts it’s nice to see so much light hearted time with the bonded group. It was needed after how the last book ended and honestly needed thanks to this ending as well.

How dare you twist me up and make me like him. I’m hoping this is just another twist that will end happily in book 3, but seriously he is my favourite you better give him the best redemption arc. Otherwise I will be mad at you making me love him and his fear of bunnies and love of messing with Maddox’s socks.

Vengeful Legacies explores themes of love, betrayal, revenge, and the complexities of relationships. The story revolves around characters who are deeply flawed yet relatable, navigating their personal demons while grappling with intense emotional connections.

The character development and growth in the second book of this series is phenomenal! You get to witness their struggles and triumphs and will have you invested in their journeys. S.E Alexander’s writing style is engaging and incorporates vivid descriptions that will draw you into the emotional landscape of her characters. She effectively balances dramatic tension with moments of levity, making sure you remain captivated throughout the story.

I absolutely HATE giving and reading spoilers, so I won’t post any… BUT. If you love a a kick ass FMC who can hold her own, while having over protective macho male alphas wanting to take care of her?? This is your book, I promise you. It’s a why choose, obviously, and let me tell you, they are all spank bank material!!

Spank bank material aside.. Scarlett is my favorite. Everything she has gone through, and continues to go through, speaks volumes about her as a person and will make the book that much better for you.

This is the second book in the series, so if you’ve never read it before, I strongly suggest you start with Marked Legacies, because Vengeful Legacies starts off right where the first book ends.

And also, cliffhangers are S.E Alexander’s speciality haha!!

BOOK TWO in Leukos Trilogy

I’m not a trigger warning person. That being said: she does a thorough job of listing them. So read them if you need to.

I have been hooked since I first started reading book one Marked Legacies. This is fated mates, found family, dystopian, with a FMC and a ton of great mates, family and other characters. This book has spice, a great plot, wonderful character development, and it covers almost all the bases you could want. There’s action, drama, comedy, love, heartbreak and so much more. It will make your heart sing in the good moments and break in the bad. It will keep you guessing and yearning for more and more of the story. When I say she delivers-I mean it!! She will not disappoint. This is a must read book and trilogy!!

Once you read the book it will all make sense! 😉
Bunnies, Socks, Angry Ducks, and Cheesecake? Oh yes!! There are moments where you will almost pee your pants and the laughter will follow you for days when you remember the scenes. Do you want to throw your book or kindle sometimes? Absolutely. Are you holding said book or kindle so tight you fear damaging it? Definitely. You’re in for a wild ride and another of her award winning cliffhangers. Did I forget to mention she is the Queen of the best/worst cliffhangers ever?? You’ve been warned. Happy reading!!

I had the pleasure of reading this book during the beta stages and it was so good even then! If you haven’t read the first one please do! It answered so many of the questions that i had after the first and left me with so many more for the next book. S.E has such an enjoyable writing style i can say so many good things about this book, but it still won’t amount to the emotions you’ll feel if you read it yourself!

✨Arc Review✨

Vengeful Legacies by S.E Alexander
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Release Date: August 2, 2024
Tropes: Found Family, Fated Mates (multiple mates), Why Choose, Dystopian Romance

“You’re like a goddess who’s come to walk before us mere mortals: breathtaking, awe-inspiring, completely mesmerizing.”

This is the second book in S.E Alexander’s Leukos Trilogy. As this book continues where the first book, Marked Legacies, leaves off the first book needs to be read first.

Scarlett found her last mate as she had been kidnapped. Not knowing where she is, and not having access to her powers, she must escape her kidnapper to get back to her mates and her family. After a successful escape, she learns more information about why people want her and the secrets the high council holds. But during the last mission, something horrible goes wrong, and Scarlett isn’t sure if she can get out of this one.

This book definitely takes you on a wild ride! I loved getting to know her mates more on a personal level, as well has her family. It was amazing to see the change and growth in almost every character. You get redemption, action, heartbreak, and betrayal in this book. And the twists and turns as well as that cliffhanger, needless to say I need more!

Bunnies, and socks, and cheesecake… OH MY!

Ok but seriously, this was so good. This series is the first SciFi/Dystopian with mates that I’ve ever read, and it’s so f*cking good! It’s also my first true ‘why choose,’ and I was NOT disappointed.

Each character is so incredibly developed, and the arcs they experience are well thought out and beautifully executed.

The world building is amazing, with each nitty-gritty detail thought through and accounted for.

The author does a phenomenal job tying things together from the first chapter of the first book all the way through book two.

All this to say- read these books. Go get Marked Legacies first, binge it, and then get this one ASAP. You will not be disappointed.

The series is only getting better!
I was captivated from the start. Filled with twists and turns, betrayal, and revelations.
We also got action, suspense, steam, and some humor.

I love Scarlett. She has so much on her plate, but keeps pushing forward. I am proud of the strength and courage.
We get to learn more about some of the guys. We also see the relationships between Scarlett and some of the deepen.
Be prepared though, we are left on a cliffhanger. I'm not gonna lie... I may have screamed!
I think this was an excellent addition. Now I need book 3 as soon as possible!!

Dark, spicy, and kickass book! Vengeful Legacies was something I wasn't expecting to enjoy so much. A deadly female assassin who was brought to her knees when she finds her mates! Yes, she has more than one, and each mate brings a different side of her alive, and she is loving it. The book had some twisted and turns throughout, and you can't forget about the dark humor that comes along between mates and those who threaten the ones they love.

So good

This was such an action packed, well paced, edge of your seat story with a hint of mystery and questions answered and asked. The plot to spice ratio was perfect and the found family aspect was fantastic. That ending though!!! Ph maaaaannnnn!!!! I'm not a fan of amnesia storylines so I really really hope that it's short lived, and that the Caspian thing goes the way of this book and as quickly.

I’m a sucker for a good dystopian read and this one absolutely did not disappoint!! The FMC is such a badass and can hold her own but the way her mates protect and take care of her is “chef’s kiss!’ The banter is fun and the story is suspenseful!! Great read!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Scarlett and her boos grow together so much in this book. One of them was lowkey annoying though (not naming names). But their overall dynamic is hilarious and I love them all. Her found family is growing and they all contribute to Scar's growth in one way or another and we love to see the positivity in her life.

I was not expecting the ending at all though!!! My jaw dropped and then the last chapter??? Where did everyone go!! What happened!! Who is who!! Who am I!!! Brb screaming until I start the last book tonight.

This was a awesome addition to the series. I love how the MFCs relationships with each of her men have grown and developed. I'm glad things worked out with Maddox and he opened up more. Also how she has her own relationship with each guy, especially Caspian. I'm also glad she's finally trying to develop a relationship with her brother and dad. I was starting to feel bad for her dad, it seemed like she wanted what came with a relationship with him without actually having one at first so I'm glad to see her finally making a effort. Things seemed to be going so well at one point that i knew something crazy was bound to happen, which brought us to the cliffy. Now the ending had me ready to throw my tablet...but then I wouldn't have anything to read on...but I can't wait for the next installment because wth! How are they getting out of this situation?

To see the plot twist with Elaena was wild especially after the prologue chapter from the first book. I didn’t expect it to come out the way it did, but it made so much more sense with her actions.
Love the groveling from Mad, and I’m glad Kai finally is starting to learn the other guys are there to stay.
I do wish we saw more of them all together, the staying in a different bed and with one guy each might just seems exhausting and I feel like it makes it to where Scar isn’t able to be there for more than one mate at a time.
I am mad we haven’t seen justice to Bram yet. Like wtf.
And caspian is such a doll. So obsessed. We love that. Gage… surprised me but personally I didn’t mind but I can understand for his character why his actions were a issue

2⭐️ it seems that I am in the minority for this book. It felt way too long, the story progression was too chaotic. I loved the first book, but I kept skimming this one. The sexy times were predictable and short. Lots of talk but very little pay out. It feels weird that she spends time/nights with each mate individually. I don’t know, I wanted more connections less jumping from one catastrophe to another.

Wow, what a really good book.
The story continues where the first book left off.
What a powerful woman Scarlett is, but the battle is far from over.
Caspian is a very nice addition, I love his humorous character.
The book is dark, exciting, spicy and full of emotions.
I can't wait for the next book to come out.

AHHHHH FREAKING AMAZING second book. Same with the first book, never a dull moment. I loved watching the characters evolve. Maddox's evolution was definitely one of the best. And CASPIAN..... by far my favorite! I love an unhinged morally grey man, and he gives all the unhinged vibes... LOVE HIM. BEWARE... The cliffhanger definitely hits hard! CANNOT recommend this book enough

Book 2 of the series is very fast-paced, filled with action, spice and well-deserved vengeance. Some character revelations were very effective - I wasn't planning to like Maddox, but...I did a 180 on him. But Cas stays my favorite - if you're into a psycho who's obsessed with the FMC, this one's for you. The cliffhanger in the end is...well...wow... I need the third book now!

Unfortunately did not love this one as much as the first.
After the cliffhanger from the 1st book resolves, I don't think the author knew what to do with the plot. The character scenes all feel very disjointed and I could not get back into it.
I really like Caspian and Maddox but can't help that I am overall bored now.
