Best I can give it is a 3 star rating.

The puzzles kept me occupied.

But the construction of the puzzles left room for improvement. The solutions were often cluttered, with the circled words often all in same area, and lots of "open" unused letters untouched.

Sometimes the word lists seemed a little bit odd.....had a tough time seeing the logic of the connection to each other or the theme.

I give it a 4 stars because it keeps me entertained whenever all else fails...or when I actually don't want to stop playing. The topics get a bit monotonous and I will notice that if I playing a few pages in a row, there seems to be a lot of patterns on a page(like all the words are backwards diagonal. It's nothing that should keep you from this book. I actually have several versions of it. It's also good hidden practice if you've got an unruly bad speller. Works for our sixth grader.
