I fell in love with Ms. Rapp’s characters in the first book of this series and was so happy to find out that Trey got his own story.  I was a bit disappointed in the beginning that Emogen didn’t change her mind and it wasn’t going to be a re-kindling of their past re

Trey Miller is a nice guy in his personal and professional life and although his professional life seems to be picking up speed his personal kind of sucks. He thought he found what he wanted in Emogen but she was already taken and he wasn't the guy to try and ruin a good relationship.

At least everything is going smoothly with his company and now he is ready to close a good deal. Only he has to compete with Faith Young for the job. She works for the company he left and is known to get e

3.5 angst filled stars.. Mine to Steal was a very cute read of a sweet guy never seeming to get the girl he is after. Trey seems to have the worst timing there is for love. He has given up on the woman that was not meant for him only to have someone else fall into his lap, Faith Young.

Faith is a go getter, out for her career and involved. She is in a complicated relationship but ends up being Trey's competition for a big marketing/advertising campaign. Faith and Trey have an intense interactio

I was lucky enough to beta read this book for my friend, TK! Full disclaimer: I love her, but that doesn't mean I have to love her books. BUT, I LOVED this book!! I loved reading from Trey’s perspective and I love, love that we get to see more of my favorite character from Mine to Lose. (Go read that now, if you haven’t yet!!)

The banter between Trey and Faith is so fun to read and I was definitely laughing out loud at certain parts.

She takes a sip of her drink and smiles. “Does she love you or

Competitors. Opponents.
The attraction is undeniable.

Trey and Faith are rivals, both vying for the same job. When circumstances force them to work together, the snark becomes foreplay… and eventually I just wanted to lock these two in a room and watch them go at it!!

Trey is sexy as hell and never without class. Faith is a beautiful woman from his past, and soon he realizes that she is everything that he’s ever wanted.

But she belongs to someone else.

This for me was one of those books that when I started it, I had a completely different idea in my head of what it was about than it what it turned out to be. In the very beginning, I have to be honest and say that I had a difficult time connecting with Trey’s character. This isn’t unusual for me - it typically takes me a few chapters to really get invested in a book. However, it did take a few extra chapters for this story to really grab hold of me. But once it did, I could

I was given an ARC for a honest review. Two words: LOVED IT!

I remember reading Mine to Lose where we were introduced to Trey. After everything that happened, I was hoping that he had his own story. This did not disappoint!

Trey is hurting because the girl he wanted belonged to someone else. He throws all his attention into his work. His younger brother Jett is back and is working with him. He and Trey go to a bar and Trey ends up drinking (which he doesnt do) and spends an amazing night with a st

Mine to Steal is the second book in the Mine to Love series by T.K. Rapp. Again, another solid storyline that had me hooked from beginning to end. Loved the twists and turns that made this book truly amazing. The characters were well thought out and had great chemistry. I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to more by this author.

16 & over. There is talk of sex but the actual scenes are closed door.
Trey: Hard-working, sweet, honest and all around good guy. He's been unlucky in love and stuck in the friend-zone one too many times.
Faith: Trey's business rival and blast from the past. She was teased by Trey's brother and ignored by Trey as a kid. All grown-up she's the quickly working her way to the top of her career. She's in an "open" relationship and trying to avoid Trey at all costs.

Half of this book I felt bad for Trey. Half of it I felt bad for Faith. I couldn’t decide who deserved the great love more. Trey is very career driven and he knows what he wants. His only issue is his attraction to unavailable women. He just can’t seem to get that right.

He lost Em, who he never really had, but he walked away from her without a fight. Maybe he wasn’t ready, maybe she wasn’t really the one. Maybe he just didn’t have the fight in him. He never really had a chance in that one, but t

Ok so first I will admit that I did NOT read Mine To Lose , not sure why , these books have been on my TBR since I did this cover reveal , and I LOVE this cover , and OMG after reading this story it is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. This troubled guy represents everything you would have learned about Trey in book 1 and everything we go through with him in book 2. Will Trey finally get the girl or better yet find THE ONE ??

I am intrigued to go back and read Mine To Lose because after the little bit of Trey

"Mine to Steal (Mine to Love #2)" by T.K. Rapp
5 out of 5 stars

Fun, intense, and witty are all words I would use to describe the second book in the Mine to Love series by T. K. Rapp. I want to start off with a little advice. This book can technically be read as a standalone in the series. I would urge you to read "Mine to Love" first. I was only given this one to read and review but I don't like to start in the middle of a series so I purchased and read "Mine to Love" before I started this one. W

Mine to Steal by T.K. Rapp was a story that I didn't expect but thouroughly enjoyed! As I began the prologue, I was expecting a book about a athletic good-looking guy who was madly in love with a girl, Emogen, who was in love with someone else, and their struggle to finally come together. Boy was I wrong! Even though I was wrong about the path the plot was going to take, I really enjoyed where the story went and I would rate it 3.5 stars and recommend it to others!!!

One of the things that I really enjoyed about this book was the fact that the first-person narrator was the hero, which is uncommon in romance novels. At the beginning of the novel (which is the second in the series), Trey Miller has just told the woman he loves, his long-time friend Emogen, that he can't keep loving her from afar, and that she should go and be happy with her fiance. Telling her to leave causes Trey to find himself in a bar, where he has a hot one-night stand with a beautiful st ...more

No Doubt this book is a winner! Trey is a good guy that gets the wrong end of the stick when it comes to women. I loved Trey. His character is hard working and not afraid to get his hands in the kool-aid kind of guy. Faith is a go-getter and the best in her field of work. She has had a crush on Trey since high school. Faith lost her big brother and has baggage about this. She does not trust the Miller boys what so ever. A one-night stand with her crush changes the dynamic of their re

With so many books that portray the main male character as dominant and alpha, it’s refreshing to find one that portraits the guy in touch with his feelings and vulnerable. Don’t get me wrong, Trey is not a wimp by any means, but it shows a different side of a man fighting for what he wants.

Trey thinks he's in "love" with his friend Em and is brokenhearted when she chooses another guy over him. He throws himself at work and becomes a workaholic with no time for a social life. But then his brothe

This was a cute read and very funny at times, I found myself laughing out loud. I thought it was a good read but was way to long at times. I felt it would have been a better read if a few things had been left out. I am giving this a 3.5 and rounding it up to a 4 star. I did find my mind wondering at times. I just felt like more was written then need to be which made the story move slow. The book did have some twist and turns which made it more interesting. I do have to say I like the first book

Okay, so a review without rehashing the plot and giving away any plot details...let's do this.

Having never read the first book in the series, I was really surprised how well this read as a standalone book. Anything from the previous book was told in as much detail as needed and then the reader is brilliantly transported into the new story without feeling lost or confused.

So this story, aah, so good. Contemporary romance with a twist, it's from a male perspective, and it's awesome. Trey Miller is

I found this book to be an excellent light read and I think it would make a wonderful romantic comedy movie. A lot of books these days are just page after page of gut wrenching drama and angst and while I appreciate that sometimes I long for a lighter read. Mine to Steal manages to straddle that line between drama and humor in an ingenious way. T.K. Rapp has a very quick and genuine sense of humor that had me in fits of giggles. Pretty much the whole book is told from Trey’s point of view which ...more

Loved this. The writing style lends itself to suck you in and not let you go. Drew is a great guy. He tries sometimes to come off as a momo but he is really a great guy. He is fair and honest in life and business. Em really did a number though and it pushed him into work mode. That is until he saw her.

Faith fixated him from the moment he saw her. But alas she walked away. Or so we thought. Turns out they are vying for the same contract. Competition does get the heart and juices flowing. And here

Although I wasn't expecting an epic duel or battle to death in this book, I was a bit disappointed in the whole idea of "winning her". I suppose my idea of what the book may be about according to the synopsis was in another direction than the author had intended. It was not what I expected but in a "meh" way not a jaw dropping "OMG" kind of way. I didn't feel the leading female was in a relationship nor was in a place to be "stolen" so felt that the title didn't quite fit.

I don't think that I have read a book in a long time that I actually felt bad for the male lead in the story, but in this book I couldn't help it. I loved Trey in the first book in the series Mine to Lose. Even though I was not suppose to want Try and Emogen together in that book, I did, and in the end when she went back to her old boyfriend Ryan I was heartbroken for him. Although I knew that he would have his HEA, although I didn't realize what a roller coaster ride it was going to be.

OMG I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I love Trey! He is the sweetest guy ever! The BIGGEST sweetheart! He is the most understand guy ever in a book. Not that he approves of everything Faith does or get mad, but he seems to get it and is patient. He doesn’t push her. He waits.

We first met Trey in Mine to Lose. He was the “other” guy. The stand in while Emogen was to figure out what she wanted. He must have learned a thing or two from that experience because he didn’t have as much patience with her. I liked T

I rated Mine to steal with four and one half leaves. If you are like me and have read Mine to Lose, then you have wanted to know for a while now what happened to Trey. TK Rapp knows what her readers want and Mine to Steal is just that.
Mine to Steal starts off with Trey trying to get over Emogen, the girl he thought was the one. He throws himself into his work, which is easy because he owns his own company. He is so busy with work that his brother, Jett, is coming to stay to stay with him and hel

This is my first time reading this author and I have to say it was a cute book. I enjoyed trey very much. I actually thought he was a standup guy that had some bad luck with woman.

that had quirks of her own. Loved how the author used a lot of sceneries to give you more of a understanding of the surroundings. Also the author did a good job in switching up a typical book and gave it some twists. Now what I was frustrating was how it began. It s

I got this as an ARC for my honest review. I gave it 4.5 stars. I enjoyed this book. Instead of the main character being a female, it was male which was different. It was all about the good guy.

Trey is the good guy and always has been. Instead of fighting for a girl he likes, he's the good guy and let's her go to the guy who loves her more. When his boss' won't listen to him about how things go wrong, Trey doesn't fight, instead, he starts up his own company. He's the good guy but instead of fin

Trey Miller is a successful CEO of his own advertising agency but lacks success in his own love life. The closest thing for falling in love was being infatuated with a female friend. Work is what he keeps him going as he tries to land a large account but he has a rival in Faith Young an promising promoter who works in the same company th
