Being a sailor myself this book strikes a special chord. For me this is a book like no other.

An obscurely quirky book. It's a bit slow in the start and takes a little time to get a hang of the writing style. A little bit of patience and the humour comes through.
I wouldn't eagerly pick the other books in these series but yeah overall it's a smart, funny, light read for a lazy day and was a good break from my repertoire.
