An excellent guide if you are going to go birding in Florida! This book is not comprehensive, but it is perfect for getting to know the most common birds you will see in Florida. I am an avid birder in NJ, and recently took a trip to Florida and it was perfect. Each page has a picture and description of each bird. I appreciate the simplicity of one page per bird, and birds grouped by type, so you can flip through and consider each when you are trying to identify a bird. And the book is small, so it fit right in my back pack. ;)
