Raised by bikers and held by the FBI, Tori Farrell has literally walked over dead men to get to where she is today.
When she broke the ties to her dark and twisted life with the Dragons, she thought it would give her a fresh start and a chance to live a normal life. However, she soon discovered the demons from her past have no desire to let her...more
The author writes with such an easy style and has an amazing story to tell. My emotions were high, low, worried, smiling at little victories and delighted as Tori's story progresses. I love the way in which multiple stories are being intertwined, so that the reader dare not make assumptions, as they will be shattered, I am sure.

WOW. So Captive (Book 1) was really just Tori's back-story to bring us to the present. Bound picks up right where we ended.
AND what a ride it was! It has action, emotion, romance...and she FINALLY starts to learn who she is (not based on how she's been used). Tori becomes a person, and we get to watch her journey :)
The story ends on a cliff-hanger (SERIOUS cliff-hanger) and I just need to know what's going on.

Arriving in LA is daunting for Tori as she is leaving behind the only real friends she has ever made. She has been abused and used by everyone but them all her life and now she is being forced into a situation she does not know how to deal with at all without the only two people she has ever trusted in the ...more
I read a lot of books I guess, so far this year I have read 145 books, so I guess I'm getting choosey.
Boy was I in for a shock! This book was just as good at the first one.
Tori is now trying to start a new life.

Samantha Jacobey has written another winner. This fantastic sequel picks up right where book one left off. I loved book one and was really looking forward to reading book two. Ms. Jacobey didn’t disappoint me at all, quite the opposite. This book exceeded all of my expectations and left me more than ready for the next installment. If you have already read and enjoyed book one, then trust me this one is even better. You can just stop reading this review and ...more

In this book Tori finds herself being sent to a halfway house in LA of all places. She has severe panic issues on her very first plane ride. Many things fall into place for Tori while she is in LA. She has a job at a Guitar/Music shop which she is really enjoying and she even takes a leap and begins wearing short sleeve shirts. However there is a new ...more
Choosing to read this series was the best accident ever. I'm now a slave to my kindle, ignoring my family and responsibilities, eyes glued to the pages. Tori is one bada$$ chick. Since she's never had anything, she's never had anything to lose. Her life up until now has only been about survival. After losing her only two friends and being forced to move to LA to stay in a half-way house, she's not happy. She hates meeting people, she hates ...more
Bound is book 2 in Samantha Jacobey's New Life series which will have 7 books in total. The books must be read in order as it is a continuation of Tori's story.
Book 2 takes off from where book 1 left off and we go with Tori to LA as she tries to live a "normal life". Less of this book is spent telling tales of the past although we are taken there several times.
This book was not quite as gripping as the first and at times I ...more
I really enjoyed this author's style of writing. The flow was really good and the storyline is unique, definitely one I haven't seen before which is saying something considering I have 1000+ in my Kindle library. The sex is brutal and the violence disturbing so be prepared. This is only the second of what will be 7 so if you don't like cliffhangers, I suggest you wait. I read the first three in quick succession and now have to wait until June to see what happens next--my only ...more

Book two of A New Life, love the story.
The continuation of Tori's adventure.
The second book is amazing, it's better than book 1.
New characters were introduced.
All of them have unique qualities that made the story more interesting.
The story, it's much more interesting and better.
I love how the story went.
The way the story ended is also good..
I loved it!
I wasn't sure how I felt about the first book, Captive, but I was intrigued by Tori and needed to.see if she is able to make it through. This book really sucks you in to her story and how it is all going to work out for her. I for one am rooting for her.
In Bound we follow Tori to LA where she will be in a half way house for six ...more

This series must be read in order so if you haven't read Captive 1st you may want to so you can fully get into this series.
Bound has a lot more action in it and more character details to where you want to beat some of them up if you could. Storyline continues to suck you in to where you want to keep going into the present.
You best hope you already bought book three in the series ...more
Tori is beginning her new life away from the horror of the Dragons. She's learning how to live without the constant threat of rape and violence over her head. She's learning how to trust people and that some people want to be her friend, and that's ok.
Her story is told with a mix of the present and flashbacks. The flashbacks are as graphic and brutal and sickening as ...more
