4 1/2 Frustratingly amazing stars!!!
"Jared looked one hundreds percent better than the last time I saw him. He had gained back all the weight he'd lost and it looked like he had started sleeping again. He was wearing slacks and a white button-up shirt. I had never seen him in anything other than jeans or leathers and the look was good for him. Then again, I think almost anything would look good on him."
Yes they are still resisting each other. Although Avery is doing most of the resisting! Jared is just giving her the time she needs, while watching over her. Witches have gone crazy and Others are showing up dead! And with Jared being Avery's new partner, it is their job to stop the murderers. But things turn extremely personal when the last of Avery's family is also murdered. Jared is there to help in any way he can and we see the sweet domestic side of him! With the Fallen watching over Avery, dodging Abbadon's minion's, and the truth coming out; will it be enough to keep her safe?
The ending definitely surprised me and now I am left to sit and wait until the next book comes out?!?!?! Ugh

Interesting twists!
It’s great and interesting how this book is starting to develop the main character more and more, Avery was such a stellar character to begin with but now S.L. Gavyn has given her more depth and even more strife. In the last book I wanted to smack Jared for what he did, but it looks like Avery (while still battling her feelings for him) had come out stronger than ever. I do wish the two would do something with the tension but it’s a great book and I can’t wait for this story line to continue in the next set. All of the Avery series has kept me on the edge of my seat, waiting anxiously to see what happened next with all of the Characters.
The plot twists were amazing and unexpected, how the author kept them all straight is beyond me but it was amazing none the less!

Book 3 Does Not Disappoint
The action keeps you enthralled and you just want to read more and more. The series is lovely and it ends on a cliff hanger.
