I'm not sure I would call this a romance because this one is more instalove than a cleverly crafted story. The MCs have basically lived next door to each other for a year but neither had any attraction or paid close attention to the other until the present.

One of my most hated tropes next to cheating is Manhos and this one had it in spades. Hero is a fireman and he is a self-proclaimed manwhore who doesn't do relationships so he brings women over to his place regularly to f**k and heroine's teenage sister (along with heroine) have a front row seat to his many women coming in and out of his place and also hearing him doing the deed.

One of the funniest moments in the story that made it into a 2 star rating was heroine's 14 year old sister whose room is a wall away from his and the poor kid had to listen to his escapades. That kid cracked me multiple times as she has no filter and speaks her mind so it was nice to see her give it to him in spades and have him be embarrassed to the point he changes his ways.

As for heroine, unfortunately she has no personality. There is literally no backstory other then at age 18 or 19 she became an instant mom to her kid sister and is now working as a hairdresser to make ends meat. The rest of the story is her lusting after Hero whom she knows is a whore and has seen and heard him f**k OW yet she wants to join the club? Really?

As I said, there is not much story here but if you are into instalove romances without any substance, you may like it. For me, I went into this story only for the kid sister. I LOVED her lines and her personality. Everything else was forgettable.

I can sense how uncomfortable Skye is. What I don’t know is if that feeling is because I am here, or her sister’s distaste for me. I can barely look the kid in the eyes after Scarlett informed me that she’s had a front row to all the noises of my many hookups.

I’m a fucking pig, and she’s been forced to overhear it all.

“She is not a fan of yours,” Scarlett announces, almost proudly, her shoulders squared, a smirk on her lips. She loves to see me get knocked down a notch or two. She also loves when I’m challenged without a win in sight.

“I can tell,” I tell my cocky cousin narrowing my eyes at her. “But in her defense I have been a bit of an ass, so it’s warranted.” Looking away from Scar I find Skye watching me worrying her lip. The second our eyes lock I feel that familiar pressure on my chest once again. Why does she have to be so beautiful? And why has it taken me so long to notice?

“She could have called me so much worse,” I say, still watching Skye, triggering her to look away and toy with the strap of her bag.

“An ass, maybe a whore,” Tori says, who I now know is Skye’s younger sister. “Probably even a disrespectful walking dick with ears, would you like me to go on.”

“Oh my God, Tori, will you please stop!” Skye says in an irritated tone, her nostrils flaring as she glares at her sister. “You need to apologize.”

“No,” I interrupt, triggering all three ladies to look at me. “It’s alright, she has the right to her opinion.”

“Okay so maybe I took it too far, but could you at least do me a favor?” I offer the young girl a nod. “Keep the hyenas you bring home quiet. Stuff a sock in their mouths for all I care, but for the love of God shut them up.”

It’s impossible not to laugh at her, she may be mouthy but the girl is a character.

“Or hell, I don’t know, pick some less theatrical girls. You do know that half of them are fake, why do guys feed into that stuff anyway. Do you truly like those types. Woman that pretend you are God and they worship the ground you walk on? A woman shouldn’t have a mind of her own?”

“She should,” I agree.

“So why the bimbos?”

“Tori.” Skye again offers her sister a pleading stare.

“I’m just curious.” She shrugs.

“I know it’s no excuse but growing up I didn’t have the best role model when it came to women,” I say, surprisingly not feeling like the walls are closing in on me. Scarlett’s entire body shifts and I see her turn to me out of the corner of my eyes. She knows that me talking about anything from my younger years, anything regarding my mother at all, is something I rarely do. In fact I generally avoid it at all cost.

“My mother took off on my father and I before I turned six and like I said I know it’s no excuse but staying detached is much easier than getting hurt.”

Tori stares at me, saying nothing right away. I can almost imagine the shock on Scarlett’s face, when she hears me talk of my past so freely.

“Well you are right, that is no excuse,” the younger girl says without an ounce of remorse or sympathy. “Buck up pansy, my parents both got killed in a car accident when I was twelve. At least your dad is still here. Besides your mom was the idiot for running off. You shouldn’t be an idiot too, what is that gonna prove.”

I should have DNF'd it but only read just to listen to the kid go off on the STD manchild/asswipe which unfortunately resulted in endless suffering of listening to him and the no-personality heroine be horny for each other all the freaking time.

Safety:

- No virgins. Heroine said she last had sex at age 19 and I think she said she was 22 in the present
- Hero is 29 and has an FB relationship with an OW that his female cousin & BFF hates but is not exclusive as he f**ks around with others too. This FB OW tries to cause trouble at the 80-85% or so but he never cheats on heroine once they start things and he does change his ways as well.
- No cheating (technically) & some drama in the form of the FB OW who comes back on scene at the 85% or so to kiss him but he shoves her off.
- HEA

Oh wow. So start reading for Grayson. Stay when you meet Skye. And prepare to fall in love when Tori opens her mouth. I’m not kidding. That girl is the wingwoman and instigator that everyone needs in their life. She’s brash. Funny. Unafraid of laying it all out as part of her soul-flaying takedown of those deserving her wrath. And she’s only a teenager!

Grayson may not think he wants more, but when his neighbors rip him to shreds for being a selfish man of the night, he can’t help wanting it all. All of the things he swore he’d never want, he now craves. Adding a teenager who is so far beyond his league of pranks and sarcasm only solidifies the “I need this as my life” feelings clawing at his heart and soul. But when things appear to take a turn, can he make it right?

Skye and Tori are used to being united against the world. They’ve had to be. They’re all that they have. But Grayson makes the case for something more, and he definitely does the work to make things right. So you might start this story for the heat and the romance, but you’ll end up loving the family being built, the friendships forged, and the forever found for everyone involved. I guarantee it.

Grayson has a reputation for two things his career as a firefighter and his way with women. He was content with his life until Tori, his irate neighbor, calls him out on his behavior. Even though he is intrigued by the teenager’s feisty actions it is her sister Skye that draws his attention.

After the passing of their parents Skye pushes her dreams to the side so that she could raise her sister. She isn’t sure that they need any man in their lives let alone someone like Grayson, but he might just prove her wrong.

With Grayson it becomes apparent that for him it was a matter of not meeting the right woman until Skye as once she comes into his life he shows her that he is the man that she and Tori need.

I couldn’t put down this fun fast-moving firefighter romance.

I absolutely loved GRAYSON from Author CA Harms. Everything about this book screamed my definition of romance!

Firefighter hero ✔️ Restrained and responsible heroine ✔️ One-night-only vs. A keeper ✔️ A hero’s bad first impression ✔️ Quick-witted humour ✔️ All-the-feels ✔️

Welcome to the first released book in the STATION 47 8 Book series. I’ll just straight up, put out there that I loved it.

There were some sad and serious situations spoken about that Firefighters attend as a part of their job, but it was beautifully counterbalanced by the clever humour that I adore in the writing talent of Author CA Harms over the many years that I’ve read her books.

GRAYSON as a book to read was clever, witty, sad, emotive and hilariously funny. Each work culture has their way of dealing with stressful situations, and I believe that Ms Harms captured Station 47’s in the best way possible.

Grayson was actually quite a sensitive man who kept that side of him deeply hidden under the easy-one-night-stand persona. His best friend and cousin, Scarlett, knew better, and I’m hoping that I get to read her book as a part of this 8 book series.

Skye and Tori lost their parents in the worst of circumstances. Overnight 19-year-old Skye became guardian to her 12-year-old sister, and while these two have struggled under the weight of their enforced respective roles in life and squabble accordingly, they still showed the best of sisterly love for each other. Family and loyalty first – they were amazing characters. Skye was conservative and careful, the result of forced responsibility while Tori was verbally clever and quick on the draw. Her continual barracking of Grayson’s varying and easily distributed bedroom favours was the stuff of legends, and this is where I laughed my t!tt!es off! 🤣🤣🤣

When she informed Grayson that she shared a bedroom wall with him and has heard EVERYTHING loud and clear for months, where she judged not only the many seggs noises of the women he’d been with, but his as well, hell, even I cringed badly for him! What it would’ve been to have been a fly on the wall for that conversation!!! Oh wait, we were 🤣🤣🤣. GRAYSON is written in my favourite first person dual POV so we DID get to see and hear Gray’s inner thoughts and reactions when he realised exactly what it was that he’d forced Tori to be listening to!

“She glares at me and suddenly I feel sick to my stomach. “I’ve heard things. Things that in no way a young girl should hear. It’s like a Hooters is live next door all. The. Time.”

From that moment on, Grayson questioned his own motivations and I loved that Tori needled him and called him on it. Repeatedly, much to the entertainment of his friends. And that’s not to say that they didn’t escape her scathing judgment either!

“And here I thought it was only the women in your life that were dumb****s.” Tori pushes passed (Fed) and enters my apartment. “But the male company seems to be even worse. Kinda makes the hyenas of the night seem smart.” ... “Your pal here brings home some doozies, but I’m sure the rest of you don’t do much better.”

I could make quotes for days on it all! Grayson had some serious PR work to do with this young lady if he was going to get anywhere with the older sister he was very much attracted to!

And this is what I love most about romance reads from the Indie Authors like CA Harms whose books I love to read – the improbability that a man who easily distributed his favours far and wide is suddenly stricken with breathlessness by the woman who will eventually bowl him over. *Sigh* As readers we all wish it were us, especially the gorgeously described man that this character is, but most of all, we want our heroine to succeed. To beat out the perfectly shallow eye-candy they’re typically with, and really burrow their way into the heart of our heroes.

And this is what Author CA Harms delivered in spades. Using her characteristic cleverly written humour, she created a journey for Grayson and Skye that was uniquely their own, and I loved it. I also love inter-related characters, so whether these books be from the same author, or part of a multi-author series, I love the added layers because it is the secondary characters that really add depth to a book.

I’m looking forward to the rest of the books in this series because CA Harms is a star among other author stars who I love to read. GRAYSON is a highly recommended book, written by a highly recommended author. 5-hot-hilarious-Stars 🖤🧯✦

3 stars because the book was decently written; I just think it wasn't for me.

A minor thing: while I appreciate when the author lets us know whose POV each chapter is from, a first name is fine. First and last name after the first chapter from each POV is unnecessary.

Some descriptions were overly repetitive. Did we need so many chapters reinforcing the fact that Grayson was a manwhore? Do we need to be told multiple times that Tori could hear him and his lady friends through the wall? I get it-- the sweet little old lady who is the adopted station grandma is, indeed, a sweet little old lady. There was so much stress on Grayson's manwhore ways that I was beginning to wonder if the author wanted us to like him. Now, I don't mind the experienced-man-reformed-by-the-near-virginal-heroine trope, but this was almost too much.

I get that Skye is in her early twenties, but getting drunk while your younger sister has her friend over isn't right. I also get that the author really wanted us to like Tori's unfiltered ways since all of the adults apparently do for some reason, but honestly, she's a brat. I have kids around that age and would be extremely disappointed if they acted like her.

Finally, a couple of random things: 1. How does Skye afford a two bedroom apartment? 2. (Being vague to avoid spoilers) Towards the end of the book, something major happens to one of the characters. There's no details (that I could find) explaining how this character got into this situation or who they were with. It also felt like a last-minute bit of drama tacked on to the end. 3. There were times, even at the end, when it still felt like the characters were in lust, or maybe even just in love with the idea of being in love, rather than actually being in love with each other.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.

Grayson Hawk is a playboy firefighter in Nashville at Station 47. When he was five years old, his mother left him and his father and since then he steers clear of anything that resembles commitment. One day, the sassy teenager told him off for parking in her older sister’s parking space. He then saw that said sister and noticed her for the first time.

Skye Simmons recently started working at a hair salon. She likes her job so far. She became a mom to her then twelve year old sister she she was twenty due to the horrible car accident that took the lifes of their parents. She quit college and took jobs to put roof over their heads and food in their stomachs. She knows all about her neighbor’s esxapades since she saw a lot of them coming out of his apartment, and heard them.

When Vivian, her friend from the salon came over for the girl’s night they met Scarlett coming out of Grayson’s apartment. She’s his cousin and they immediately hit it off and invited her in. Later, Skye and Vivian came to Ruby’s, a bar whom firefighters frequent after their shifts. She met there Grayson and Scarlett. On their way home she shared a cab with Grayson. After that he told her that they will spend time together on his next day off. And so they started spending time together and getting together. He won over her fourteen year old sister, Tori. I loved the chemistry and passion between Skye and Gray. They were made for each other.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a neighbors, firefighter romance then you’re going to love it.

This is the first book of a new series about a Nashville fire station. Each book is written by a different author and focuses on one of the firefighters of Station 47. Sign me up!

This first book tells the story of Grayson and his neighbor Skye. It's a classic tale of a reformed man-whore bad boy, who finds changing his ways easy once he meets the woman he never even dared dream of.

Skye is 22 and trying to do right by her teenage sister, Tori, after the tragic death of their parents a few years ago. She set aside her dreams and ambitions in order to provide a stable home for them both. She barely knows her nextdoor neighbor, but knows all about his nightly escapades and his revolving door of women, thanks to the thin walls in their building. Suffice it to say, her first impression of him leaves much to be desired.

Through a twist of fate they end up getting to know each other better and realize they share undeniable chemistry. This is where the story could've gotten much more interesting than it did, unfortunately. The development of their relationship feels rushed, with key moments glossed over, even though only weeks pass. I feel this could've been explored more.

Two other things bothered me as well. The author switches tenses throughout the book, sometimes even in the same sentence. This kept throwing me off my pace. Also, Tori is presented as a sassy teenage girl, but I found her more rude and disrespectful than sassy. I get that this is personal taste, but still, it made it difficult to connect with her.

Overall I did enjoy the story, but feel like it could've been fleshed out more. Parts of it sadly fell flat for me.

holy moly where do i begin, there are a few fires that defiantly needed to be put out while reading this book. Grayson a very good-looking firefighter in Nashville is bachelor living his best life and is a well-known manwhore in the station. but he fights fires, saves as many lives as he and his brothers can, so why he has one-night stands with no strings attached. one morning he had a knock on his door from his neighbors very blunt younger sister telling him how big of an ass he really is. and since that very moment he got a good look at his neighbor he hasn't been the same. Skye was a single mom to her teenage sister when she got guarding ship of her after their parents died in a car accident. that night changed both of their lives forever and as much as she can't take it most days, she wouldn't trade it for the world. now she's doing hair in a solan with her new gal pals, and she's actually happy, but one thing Skye didn't want to feel was something for her manwhore of a neighbor. will Grayson be able to control his hose, and rumor has it magical tongue to let Skye in or will Skye just have to continue to listen to his life saving skills through the walls of their apartments. OMG this book was amazing, I flew through this book and i haven't done that in a long time I can't wait to meet the rest of these smoking hot fireman from station 47.

Grayson, A Station 47 Novel by CA Harms
I was given this book by the author for an honest review.
I have read several CA Harms books. So when I saw she was writing a book about a fireman, I was all in. She has a great ability to make her men flawed and perfect at the same time. LOL
I will say I did not read any of the other books in the series written by other authors. I walked blindly into this series.
Grayson…dude man come on. Remember I said flawed….well he was such a gross player. I mean EWWW no sir stop. He was happy with this life and the rotating ladies.
Skye is Grayson’s neighbor. She is raising her sister and the last thing she needs is a manwhore sniffing around. I mean she is a shy person and raising a teenager is not for the faint of heart!!
When Grayson sees Skye, he is done! He needs to know more right away. This is when we see Grayson maybe putting away his manwhore card. He knows what he wants and will all he can to get it.
Of course there is drama. Of course, there are besties that we all loved, Vivian and Scarlet. But as to be expected we find a couple dealing with everything to be together.

Three things instantly made me want to pick up this book:

1 – It’s by CA Harms!

2 – It’s a firefighter romance – HOT HOT HOT!

3 – It’s based in Nashville! (I live in Tennessee)

Grayson struggles with true intimacy and connection with women, so he has developed a revolving door routine. And his neighbor, along with her teenage sister that she’s raising, has nearly had a front row seat to the action. It hasn’t exactly left a good impression.

Skye and Tori had their lives turned upside down after losing their parents. They’re both still so young and my heart ached for them! I love how they haven’t lost their sister relationship despite the shift in responsibilities for Skye. Tori, being a teen pushes buttons and tests her boundaries. I found myself laughing out loud several times at her antics as it wasn’t too long ago that my own kids were that age. Her trauma from losing her parents comes out harsh, but honestly, it wasn’t anything that Grayson and his friends didn’t need to hear. Perhaps it was better and more effective coming from her!

Once Grayson is tormented by Tori for his revolving door, we see the shift start to happen. It happens fast, but I enjoyed how it develops from the hate to love, realizing how sizzling hot their chemistry was. But is it too hot and going to end up in smoke and ash?

*Grayson: A Station 47 Novel* by C.A. Harms is a five-star romance that will sweep you off your feet, not just for its chemistry, but for the heartwarming family dynamics that weave through the story. The plot centre’s around Grayson, a firefighter who has been enjoying his carefree, single life—until he crosses paths with Tori, a spirited young girl who isn’t afraid to call him out on his revolving door of dates.

Tori’s sass and boldness are impossible to resist, but it’s her older sister, Skye, who truly captures Grayson’s heart. As Skye’s neighbor, Grayson finds himself drawn into their small family unit, discovering that the love and stability they offer are exactly what he’s been missing. The connection between Grayson and Skye is electric, but it’s the golden thread of family that truly makes this story enchanting. Watching Grayson try to prove that he can be the man Skye and Tori need is as heartwarming as it is romantic.

C.A. Harms has crafted a tale where love, family, and redemption come together beautifully, making *Grayson* a must-read for anyone who loves a romance with depth and charm.

Such an amazing book by one of my favorite authors. I just loved everything about this book, but the standout to me is definitely the characters. And I mean all of them. Grayson has lived his life a certain way, and why not? I had zero problems with who he used to be before meeting Skye. Because once he did and fell fast and hard for her he knew he was all in with her. And I just loved that. It never gets old for me reading an absolute player fall in love.
I loved everything about Skye as a character. She has had to grow up fast and put her own career aspirations on hold to become the guardian of her younger sister Tori. And this is where I go on a bit about Tori. I was in absolute awe of her. The things that came out of her mouth remind me a little bit of myself. Fellow sailor mouth over here - just saying. But she added so much to the story and definitely brought out the best in everyone who came into her life. I’ll say it again, this is just an amazing book and obviously I cannot recommend it enough

This is the first book in what is looking ro be a promising series. Based around a fire station and the team that work from there, we meet the team who work out from there, but the focus is on Grayson, the playboy of the group. These are all men with good hearts whose job can often bruise those hearts. Then we have sweet Rose, the kind-hearted widow who lives opposite the station, providing them with goodies and support.

Skye is fabulous. Supporting her younger sister after their loss, she is just finding her feet professionally and financially. And, of course, Gratson is her neighbour who has a revolving door of conquests and noisy habits 🙄. Enter Tori. What a girl! A real firebrand who challenges Grayson at every turn!

This is a romance that has a fast click between these two but needs time to develop, time which allows something deeper, keading to a satisfying conclusion. 💖💖💖💖

I'm already in love with Station 47! This neighbors to lovers story had me hooked. Both characters have back stories that hit you in the heart. I loved Skye's sister. She is full of teenage sass that makes her fit right in. She doesn't pull any punches. Grayson is known for his playboy lifestyle, but sometimes it just takes the right person to make someone starting dreaming of a life you never thought you would want. I loved Skye and Grayson together. I would so want to be friends with her and her new friends. They are my kind of people. I loved watching these two fall and then add in how their families get along. I liked the camaraderie of the firefighters and their banter. One of my favorite parts of the book. This was a quick read for me, but an oh so good one. It was hard to put down. Great cast of characters that pulled me right into this book. Can't wait for more from Station 47!

What a fantastic beginning to a new series!! CA Harms is a brilliant writer and had me hooked from the beginning. Gray, a playboy firefighter with past trauma and Skye, a young woman who’s trying to heal from her own past while raising her teenage sister are a perfect match that seem so opposite in the beginning. I love the way they are introduced and getting to dig into why they are who they are now. The way their characters develop and grow is wonderful. The sideline of other characters is just as fantastic (and I can’t wait to get to know more of these guys!) Then there is Tori, the teenage hurricane who has more sass than a high school of girls along with a mouth that could make a sailor blush. She is absolutely my favorite. This is a fantastic story that builds and leaves you with a huge grin and wanting more from the guys at Station 47!

Honestly, its not my favorite from this author. There are so many great books and characters before Grayson and I'm asking where is the depth? Where is the soul? Skye really has no personality, she drinks until she can't control herself and jumps Grayson. Grayson may be a firefighter for 24 but on his time off, he's the stereotypical firefighter with drinking and women issues. This profession has enough issues with the calls they see, why can't one ever been just a good guy? It received 3 stars based off the fact that there were calls described that could have been real and the emotions these guys go through afterwards, I felt all of that. Although not sure how many join together at a bar after the shift is done. And the other star is for Skye's sister. If it wasn't for any of her involvement, I am not sure I would have finished the book.

Fabulous story that is down to earth and realistically emotional. Wonderful characters with flaws and depth. The women are strong and independent but would really love to have friends and family to support and love since they only have each other. Grayson has faults that stem from his past reaction to something that happened, but no messing where his job is concerned, despite the toll it can take emotionally. There are some action scenes and lots of banter, fun and teasing. The ending sort of leads into the next book in this series, each written by a different author, I for one can't wait. I fully enjoyed reading this and loved both plot and characters, there were definitely sparks in more ways than one, it had me smiling and crying at times which shows just how invested I became.

OMG. This book blew me away.
First and foremost… you had me at hot firefighter aka Grayson. He’s also got a background story too.

Then, the background story of Skye, Tori( her sister) and their parents.

Then Tori opens her mouth…… she’s my spirit animal!!!

It was refreshing.
Sexy as hell.
Absolutely laughing so hard every time Tori opens her mouth… watch out whomever is in her path. Just call her the hurricane. OMG, the time she was playing cards with Grays father and uncle was freaking hilarious. She’s an adult in a 14 year old s mind and body!
It was also a beautiful love story.

C A Harms you knocked it out if the ball park again. Thank you for writing a book that I couldn’t put down. I read it completely in one sitting. What a great way to spend my one day off a week.

What an outstanding start to this multi author series. A series about a group of firefighters who are as close as brothers and put their lives on the line almost daily. They work hard, feel the tough cases deeply and are there for each other through it all. But they are also quick with a zany jab or sassy remark. Especially towards Grayson, the guy who keeps them entertained with his constant one night stands.

But when he gets called on the carpet by a 14 year old sassy teenager who cusses worse than a sailor, Gray may have to rethink his lifestyle. Especially if he wants a change with her older sister who happens to be his next door neighbor. A woman who for some reason has him in knots.

Loved this heartwarming storyline and I can’t wait to see what happens next with the guys at Station 47.

The perfect start to this multi-author series; Grayson is the firefighter that lives next door to Skye and her sister Tori. Grayson isn't shy about his lack of interest in anything that would resemble a relationship and is all about the no strings type of deal. But one look at Skye and he is suddenly hit with the need to get to know her and not in a one-night kind of way. With everything stacked against him, can Grayson prove that he serious about more, that he has indeed changed his tune?

I said it once, and I'll say it again, this is the perfect start to the series. Giving us a nice amount of drama, and some chemistry that just radiates off the pages. I was hooked from the first page and didn't stop until the last. I give this 5 stars.

Loved this funny, sweet ode to love!

I’m trying to think of the words to adequately explain how much I loved this story. Grayson and Skye were struggling with pain from their past. The loss of mothers and a father affected them deeply and set their current paths. When those paths met the fireworks started and didn’t stop.

Skye's sister Tori fed those fireworks with her snark and outspokenness which endeared her forever and firmly placed her on my favourite character list as well. The firemen brothers, Rose, Graysons father. I could go on and on but this chosen family gelled so well and proovided so many moments of laughter as well as love and support.

This is the first in the series and I can’t wait for more!

I loved this book so very much that I actually put it down after reading 60% of it in one sitting because I didn't want it to end! Grayson played life fast and free, never getting serious with a woman, happy to be a fearless firefighter running in to buildings to save lives as others ran away. Skye and Tori were sisters who due to a tragedy had become everything to each other. when they bump into each other.......there will be SPARKS! These characters are so very well written and then add in the secondary characters and they come to life. Tori was definitely my favorite because she didn't hold anything back. I could not get enough of this story and it will definitely go on my reread list.

Grayson is an adrenaline junkie, who is part of a group of firefighters, who as close as brothers, and put their lives on the line daily. Skye is raising her teenage sister, Tori, who is brash and turns into a wing-women extraordinaire, while Gray is their neighbor.
I cannot wait to read more in this series!
This is a well written story which is easy to read, with family, friendships, humor. Witty banter, challenges, undeniable chemistry, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining and heartwarming addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This was a great beginning to a new series! Skye, a hairdresser, and her sister Tori live next door to Grayson, a firefighter, in the apartment complex. Tori lets him have it one night after he parked in Skye's spot. She also let him know that all his extra curricular activities can be heard as the walls are thin. He is intrigued by Skye and wants to get to know her and her sister better. The station house is a great setting for this series. I liked how Grayson stopped messing around and wanted to be there for them. Each had their own issues to work through and I really enjoyed reading their journey to happiness. I am looking forward to reading more!

This book is part of an interconnected series by multiple authors and is a fantastic addition to this series.

Grayson is a playboy firefighter, doesn't do commitment until he finally meets his sexy neighbour Skye and she makes him feel and want things he has never wanted before. The connection between them is instant and red hot from the beginning. The fact that she is now the guardian for her younger sister Tori seals the deal for him as he falls in love with the feisty teenager too knowing they are a package deal. There is nothing he and his family wont do for these two. Prepare to swoon hard!!

I am intrigued on reading the stories for the other firefighters at Station 47 so will be checking out the other authors stories in this series.

I was gifted a copy of this book by the author and this is my honest opinion

What a fantastic start to this series. Firefighter Grayson is known for being a bit of a man whore, bringing different women home each time he goes to the local bar, Ruby's. His neighbour, Skye keeps her distance until one night they run into each other at Ruby's and Grayson is literally swept off his feet. However, hot Skye thinks he is, she cannot risk getting involved as she struggles to manage work and caring for her younger sister, Tori. Tori is a real spitfire with a whole lot of attitude and gives her sister, Grayson, his family and friends a hard time as she navigates growing up. A heart-warming and emotional read. Warning there is a bit of a cliff hanger at the end.

Grayson by C.A Harms was such a fantastic story, I could not put it down. Grayson is a firefighter and a bit of a player when it comes to the ladies. That is until he meets his neighbour Skye.
Skye is taking care of teenage sister Tori after losing their parents and definitely isn't looking for romance.
From the start, Greyson has feelings for Skye, but she doesn't make it, although she soon sees there is so much more to Grayson than she realised, and a spark ignites.

I really enjoyed seeing the growth of these characters throughout the story, and I have to say Tori is definitely one of my favourite side characters for a long time. That girl definitely needs her own book in the future.

It has been a while since I literally laughed out loud without even noticing I was!! Apparently I not only fell in love with Skye and Grayson, but I eagerly held out for Tori’s comments and antics; “Don’t be a d***! Be a hero!”, because really, the snarky teenager was so well written, that I thoroughly enjoyed it. As for Grayson, well...he definitely had me wishing for more of the Station 47 books. And Skye, I was so glad that she went from being alone with her sister, to getting a support system in the form of Vivian and Scarlett. Enjoy reading it! I certainly did!

C.A. Harms, you wrote such an amazing book that of course deserves 5 stars, and I am now a devoted fan!!

This first book in the Station 47 Series had me intrigued right from the start. This story might have been about Grayson and Skye but Tori is the one that steals the show. Grayson has never wanted to risk his heart but one look at Skye and he might not have a choice. Their story was filled with so much witty banter that my face was sore from all the smiling I had done by the end of this book. It was also highly emotional and overflowing with love and passion. The connection between Gray and Skye is intense and one that will take your breath away. The way Gray loved and cared for Skye’s teenage sister Tori was the icing on the cake that steals your heart.
