A young widow is determined to give her son a quiet Christmas in their new town.
Will a restless cowboy turn all her plans upside down?

When Cora Davies packs up her life and travels to Trinity Falls just before Christmas, her goal is simple. She wants to raise her seven-year-old son in the same small town where his late father grew up. She buys a cute little cottage on the edge of the woods and puts up a wooden fence to keep her son out of the creek—never expecting that this simple act will put her in a passionate conflict with a man who is known in Trinity Falls for his impulsive energy and his dark good looks.

Jared Webb has had his eyes on the property next to the old fishing hole for months. But by the time he manages to put his offer together, an outsider has already had her bid accepted on the land that means so much to him. And the first thing she does is block off access for everyone else. A calmer man might have tried to explain things, and come to an arrangement with the new owner. But Jared marches right up to her without a plan and puts his foot firmly in his mouth, making himself the laughingstock or the hero of the village, depending on who you ask.

But when he hears the young widow’s tale, the hot-headed hunk feels guilty enough to go back and apologize, and he even offers to lend her a hand around the house. He’s doing it because it’s the right thing to do. It has nothing to do with Cora’s beautiful gray eyes, or her charming, adventure-hungry son, who looks up to Jared and suddenly makes him feel like he could one day be something more than a restless cowboy.

The only trouble is that the young widow has put a barricade around her heart that seems even more impenetrable than the fence that started their squabble in the first place.

Teacher's Christmas Cowboy is the new installment in the Icicle Christmas series.
Clara Pines wrote a nice and warm story, with a lot of emotions and good feelings.

Cora Davies and her son moved to her late husband's small town. She's just arrived at her new house when a brute confronted her about the fence she's built on her property to be safer. Jared Webb desired that house for a long time, unfortunately someone else was faster than him to buy it, but that doesn't excuse his bad behaviour. Will Cora accept his apologies and his help to fix up her home?

Annie is a single mother and she is required to protect and to take care of her son alone, so it isn't easy for her to let go. Jared with his easygoing personality brought a little of exuberance and liveliness into her life. Their relationship isn't always easy, but they complete each other bringing out the best in each other. I've appreciated Jared who willingly step up, grew up and become a stable figure in this family.

I highly recommend this sweet romance.

5 Star Review Teacher’s Christmas Cowboy (Trinity Falls Sweet Romance - Icicle Christmas #5) by Clara Pines

It was wonderful being back in Trinity Falls, these stories always leave me with a smile on my face, they are romantic, sweet, and with characters whose stories you cannot help but become hooked on.

Teacher’s Christmas Cowboy was a fabulous addition to the latest series from Clara Pines. I enjoyed Cora Davies and Jared Webb’s love story.

Their journey was not without its ups and downs but it was worth it in the end .

I loved this book and I loved being back in Trinity Falls where everyone is so nice to each other and always willing to help their neighbours. These books are all feel good and I enjoyed reading about Cora, Jared and Sylvester and their journey to their HEA especially after Cora moves to Trinity Falls with her son Sylvester to start anew after her husband passed away. There was an instant attraction between Cora and Jared and although there was a small blimp in their relationship it helped pave the way for them to start afresh and build a future. This is a wonderful series and I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every book.

I received an arc copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Cora is a widow of two years. She’s a mother of a seven year old son, Sylvester and a teacher. When she got a job at the high school in Trinity Falls, she bought a small home that looks like Pippi Longstocking’s house just to be closer to her mother-in-law. She wants her son to grow up in the small town where his father was raised. Maybe it will help her son with his loss. Jared Webb is a cowboy who loves to fish in the pond where he and his grandfather spend time together. He was upset when he saw a fence around the pond. He gets angry and goes to confront the owner. He was rude to Cora. Afterwards he feels bad so he offers to help Cora around the house to makeup for his rudeness and yelling. As he spends time with Cora and Sylvester, he thinks maybe he could have a family of his own. They make him want to be settled. As she rotates around her guilt of having feelings for someone other than her husband and her son needing a role model in his life, she’s not sure if she’s ready? Neither one talk about their feelings with each other. Will Jared be good for Sylvester? Will he just hurt him? Will she take a chance with him? He’s a good man who is kind and patient with her son. Can she move forward? What will her mother-in-law think? What will Sylvester think? Is he ready for someone new in his life? So many questions. The characters are wonderful. This book is about loss, loving again and moving forward with a new life, and realizing that you don’t have to forget you spouse that you loss. He will always be in her heart and memory. They deserve a second chance at love. I was rooting for this couple and the little boy. Worth the read.I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily

Cora Davis made the decision to move back to her husband’s hometown 2 years after his death. She wanted their son to feel the love and energy there while she was able to feel safe in protecting him from everything she feared. What she wasn’t expecting was one of those fears to happen on the first day when a neighbor confronted her about the fence she had put up blocking the fishing hole. That isn’t the only fence she has put up, there is one around her heart too. But there is a chance that both could come down if she lets them because there is no denying the attraction she has for the hot headed cowboy and that he has been exactly what both of them need.

Jared Webb had always wanted that house because it was one link to his grandfather and the creek/fishing hole they would go to. When it is blocked off by a fence by the new owner his actions weren’t the best at all. It isn’t just her that tugs his heart after learning the story, it is also the little boy. Jared realizes that both of them can be the answer he needed in his life. Now he just has to win their hearts like they won his.

This is part of the Trinity Falls series but is also a stand alone. When reading these romances Clara Pines never disappoints. Probably a line I have used numerous times with her books, but because it is true. Her romance books are always clean, sweet and HEA which is something that we can all need in our lives. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Another wonderful heartfelt book in this series. I always enjoy my visits in Trinity Falls. This one really touched my heart. Seeing Jared mature and become someone special in Cora and Sylvester's lives warmed my heart. I love this series so much because they take place during the holiday season. Everything is more magical at that time of year. Cora and her little boy are starting their fresh start in her late husband's hometown. She's going to experience the neighborly community that helps one another out. I still wish I could experience a Christmas in Trinity Falls. All the the activities sound like something that calls to my Christmas loving heart. I loved Jared, Cora, and Sylvester, but the special bond between Jared and Sylvester is precious. This book pulls on the heartstrings. I even teared up a few times. Jared and Cora's first date was so precious and true memory to treasure. A must read in this series!!!

Cora and her adorable 7-year-old son Sylvester have just moved to Trinity Falls. Cora's husband has passed away and she would like to be closer to his family. Cora has been lucky to get a job teaching at the high school. If their new home really does look like Pippi Longstocking's house, I would want to live there too (I'm a fan)!   Unfortunately, Jared had wanted to buy that property and didn't get the money together in time, so their first meeting doesn't go so well. Jared makes up for it by helping Cora with the house. The relationships that develops between the two of them, and between Jared and Sylvester, are just beautiful. Clara Pines has done it again, and written a wonderful, sweet romance in a small town I would love to live in with townsfolk I would love to know personally. I highly recommend her latest installment in this series.

It was as great return to Trinity Falls. Where hearts, souls and family tend to make everything right. This story has Cora and Sylvester moving to a cottage near the fishing hole. Cora is a widow who is a teacher and Sylvester is her son. They move to be closer to Sylvester’s paternal grandmother. Jared is part of the Webb family and has an impulsive streak but firmly puts his foot in his mouth on their first meeting. Jared and Cora have their ups, downs and misunderstandings but with help from Sylvester, family and each other they may just heal each other’s heart. Loved Jared sharing his memories with Sylvester and his Dad. This story quickly became my favorite! Clara Pines you are an amazing storyteller! 5+ stars! Can’t wait for more!

I can always count on Clara Pines to give me a romantic story, with interesting characters, problems to be solved, families, humor, and a fun story line. I did have a hard time with how fearful Cora is. That just isn’t my nature, so I have to work a bit on being empathetic with her situation. I’m just glad that Jared was persistent even when he didn’t understand that he was falling for the Davies family. The story gives us romance, humor, and a few surprises. It truly does take a village at times. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one.

I just can't get enough of this beautifully heartfelt and endlessly swoon worthy series. Cora and Jared were wonderful characters that are complex but easily relatable. The draw between these two was powerful and I was quickly powerfully invested and avidly rooting for this couple. Lots of emotions create a barrage of feels that melts your heart and leaves you sweetly sighing.

Finding home in a unique place.

Cora is trying to heal after losing her husband. She’s scared to face the idea of caring for another man.
Jared wants to cherish the memories of his grandpa and Cora is in the way of those memories.
Nothing comes easy for this young couple. About the time they both realize how deep their feelings run, something comes up that might destroy that budding relationship.
Watching Jared grow into a true hero was so much fun.
Also, if you need relationship guidance, Jared’s dad is full of great advice.

Enchanting story

I loved this story because it wasn't the usual third party that causes trouble for the couple. Rock's asthma was the perfect way to cause friction for the couple. The happy endings in Clara's stories are always uplifting.

We are back in Trinity Falls with another sweet, touching, clean Christmas inspired story.
Once again, another of the Webb siblings finds love when they least expect it and this time it’s Jared Webb, known as the kind but impulsive one.
Jared was beside himself when the parcel and house he has wanted to purchase and finally is ready to purchase, is sold to someone else . The location holds a special place in his heart.
Determined to give the new owner a piece of his mind when he sees the access to the fishing hole is obstructed, he walks up to their door.
Meanwhile, Cora Davies has finally gotten a teaching job in Trinity Falls. This was where her deceased husband grew up and where is mother still lives. A perfect place for her young son , Sylvester, to grow up.
Needless to say, that as handsome as she found the giant knocking on her door, Cora was not happy with his attitude .
Once apologies were rendered and they get to know each other, the attraction develops not only between these two, but also with sweet Sylvester. But the road to happiness is filled with bumps. Will find their HEA in the end?
This is a story about family, and finding love a second time around. It’s also a story about hope, letting go of fears and taking a chance on life.
Another wonderful addition to this much loved series. This reader is already looking forward to the next book in the series.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by 1852 Media. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Just when I think both the Trinity Falls series' couldn’t possibly get any more romantic and heartwarming - BAM! Ms. Pines comes out with another book that captures my heart and soul. Cora and Jared’s story was magical. Cora is a widowed single mom who has moved to Trinity Falls with her young son and Jared is known for speaking out before he thinks which often gets him into trouble. Needless to say, his first meeting with Cora doesn’t go so well. Sparks and heated words flare. But once Jared learns about her from the townsfolk, he feels awful, so he is determined to make up for his remarks and show Cora and her young son his true self. Watching Jared and Cora come out of their shells and interact was breathtaking, but watching Jared and Cora’s son Slyvester (aka nicknamed Rocky by Jared) was enchanting.

I laughed, sighed and cried a few happy tears along the way. I can’t recommend this sweet romance book/series enough. Ms. Pines is quickly becoming one of my go to authors, one spectacular awe-inspiring book at a time.

2 Thumbs Up and 5+ Stars

Cora, Jared, and her delightful son might just be my favorites in this series. Everything about these two gave me butterflies. Cora has moved to the wonderful small town where her deceased husband was from. She's looking for a fresh start for herself and her son, and what better place to do that than in a charming small town. However, her welcome committee, in the form of a rugged but handsome cowboy, leaves her a bit shaken.

Jared put his foot in his mouth when he first met Cora. But after he took a moment to calm down, he recognized his mistake and wanted to make amends for the terrible first impression. Offering to help her around the house seemed like a good idea, but he wasn't prepared for the feelings that Cora and her adorable little boy would stir in him. Convincing her to open her heart may be the biggest challenge of his life, but he's determined to show her that he's the only thing missing in her life.

This is a clean romance. It is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone.

Cora and her son Sylvester move to Trinity Falls where her mother-in-law lives. She wants to be closer after her husband passed away. She has been waiting for a teaching position and one has finally opened up. They move into a house that a local resident, Jared has been wanting, but didn't quite have the money for. He does not make a good first impression and decides to apologize by fixing her mailbox. He wants to make a better impression and starts helping fix things around the house. He is starting to feel things for the teacher and her son, but can she open her heart again?

This was a great story with how perspectives can change. I love how the townspeople help each other out. I also like how the perspective is that people need to talk to each other and not assume.

What a fantastic book. It evoked a wide range of feelings, including happiness, sadness, humor, and occasionally even heartbreak. I adore Clara Pines' ability to capture a wide range of emotions in her beautifully written, clean romance novels. I adore Christmas and have adored Trinity Falls from the first book. One of my all-time favorite writers is Clara Pines. Following the death of her husband, Cora relocates to Trinity Falls with her son Sylvester in order to be near Sylvester's grandmother Ginny. Other than her realtor Sloane, Jared is the first person she encounters. Read this novel to find out whether or not she can achieve true happiness in this small town. Both this book and the complete series are highly recommended.
