The Priest was back. Her home was safe. And Pandora had even managed to secure a powerful ally in the Zombie Queen. But in one fell swoop none of it mattered. She’s been abducted by a secret organization known only as the Triad, and they’re conducting experiments, treating her like a lab rat: cutting her open, dissecting her, and keeping her hostage.

Just like the book before it, Howler’s Night, the third book in the Night Series, takes up right where the last book left off. At the end of All Hallows Night, Pandora has her Priest right where she wants him and the two are finally about to get it on – seconds later all hell breaks loose (this is where Howler’s Night begins) as agents of the Triad attack and capture Pandora. She’s taken to a secret facility where she’s imprisoned for months as they brainwash and perform horrifying experiments o ...more

This was, by far, my favorite book of the series! Pandora suffers so much in this story. The things that are done to her are beyond belief. I could feel her suffering right along with her. The details were gripping and very visual.

One of my favorite characters is Dean. He has a personality that I just felt drawn to. He seems light hearted and easy going, but things aren't always what they

Omg don't leave me like this.....I really hate cliffies Marie.

This series sunk its teeth in me and I literally DEVOURED these books. Action packed, emotional and gripping The Night series is not your usual PNR. At times violent and disturbing and yet because the author took the time to build the story, you can't help but feel involved with the story and its characters. I cried with Ash, I flinched and I shuddered at what was done to Pandora. I grew to care about the little Lust demon with the h

I would definitely read books 1 and 2 before reading this one, so you get to know the story and characters. This is an exciting read, full of action and excitement.

Howlers Night (Night Series Book 3)

The story of Pandora and Asher. The Order has taken Pandora and brainwashed her. Asher is looking for Pandora. The Order want to turn Pandora into Ya-el, a very powerful sermon. Can the Order win or will Asher save Pandora. Great story.

My Initial Reaction...
Ok - so if you follow my blog you know that I'm a HUGE fan of Marie Hall. And this series is what started it all. I'm adore Pandora and in Howler's Night my little demon is going through hell! Howler's Night is torturous, action-packed, sexy, and agonizing - making it the best in

Oh my word this book has been explosive giving us a twisted evil and a mater plan to end the lives of the characters we love. It has also given me a reason to sleep for as long as possible for the rest of my life- harness the power of sleep. This series of books to me has been a gift which keeps on giving.

In this book we had two main characters Pandora and Asher who each get the opportunity to t

OH My Giddy Auntie! I don’t think that Pandora’s story has ever been more gripping, or more laden with potential consequence! Marie Hall takes a darker spin again and gives us a Pandora we never before saw, and brings the long suffering Asher back into her life. This was such a twisty read, full of tension and worry for Pandora (clearly my favorite character in this story) as The Triad is subjecting her to all sorts of experiments / torture / brainwashing to clear her memories of who she is and ...more

A fast paced, heart racing, emotionally gripping read.

This book starts in full action. Pandora is taken by the Triad. Asher never stops looking. Even after Luc and her nephilim family moves on. Pandora is mutilated, physically torn apart, again and again by her captors. For how long? Hours turn into days, days turn into months. Until time is unmeasured. Waking one day in the forest. Her mind unclear, body sore, bruised, battered and covered in old and new scars. She makes her way to a road side

Howler's Night: Night Series, Book 3

I received a free copy, through LoP, in exchange for a review.

Just when you thought everything was going to be ok, all hell brakes lose. Pandora is taken, by an unknown force, in the middle of the night. Asher is too hurt to help, Luc is too slow and then, she's gone. Undergoing massive mutilation and brainwashing, these unseen people are reconstructing Pandora, to fit their needs, while she tried to maintain herself and memories. It all gets to be too much an

Wow, I was shocked and disappointed with the direction this book took the series...

After accidentally reading the sneak peak at the end of book 2, I went ahead and read this book because I had bought it without reading the description, and to be honest, I wanted it to get better. But instead of getting better this installment went in a seriously dark and f'd up direction and after finishing it, all I can say is I wish I had walked away at the end of book two.

So my word to the wise is don't read

This third book is very exiting! Wish I'd known this wasn't the final book in the series since I don't want to wait to find out what happens next after such a huge cliffhanger!

Pandora was taken by the Triad and has literally lived through hell over the past year. She's been dissected and reprogrammed to kill Asher. When they let her go, Asher finds her and spends the next several months trying to bring her back

I love this series. It took me less then 4 days to finish the first 3 books. The character development is fantastic, the plot again fantastic and the details and descriptions are fantastic! This is a really really really good story and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

That being said, what the hell is with the cliff hanger man?? I mean I know we are going into book 4 here pretty soon and your bet your b

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review via Lovers of Paranormal.

WOW this series just continues to keep you on your toes. Every twist and turn comes unexpectedly and takes us in directions new and darker. The Triad with their sick and twisted ways were tough to read but totally impossible to stop reading.

These are Nephilims like I've never read before, with their demon souls as additional personalities.

The characters are great and the relationships consistently gripping - Pandora
'I'm more than just Death, I'm a Fate.'

This has to be my favourite of this series so far. I love dark and disturbing. The fact that Little Demon and her Priest's story took such a darker dance in the shade, had me totally riveted. Not to mention Luc, that poor guy I have a love hate relationship with. Very much looking forward to the next book because come on, you can't leave the story there on that ending! There is definitely more to come. Can't wait!!

I love this book just like I love the other ones. But I just wish things stop going bad for her . When will her pain ends. Pandora is a niphilim (half demon and half human) and is I love with Asher, his a death priest( born for one thing only, to kill niphilim). Even tho they are met to be enemy's there love is stronger then anything that comes in there way.Or I thought so. How could she

This is the third book in the series. It begins where the previous book, All Hallows Night, left off. Bad things happen, really bad. Pandora's world has been turned upside down, and she's questioning the authenticity of memories and events she's struggling to remember. Not everything is bad, though. Pandora is reunited with Asher and her "family," all of whom are coping with their own internal battles/secrets. Much is revealed in this installment, and the ending makes me want the final book (Red ...more

This was, my favorite book of the series! All of them have been excellent, however, everything that has been building in the last two books really breaks out in this third installment. The writing is very visual in Howlers Night, so much so there were times my heart just hurt for Pandora. I am also delighted that we get more insight into some minor characters in this installment. Overall great pacing, nothing is stretched out or boring, twist and turns abound around every corner. No spoilers tho ...more

Very interesting take on the 7 deadly sins. The sins are demons and in nephilium they are paired with human souls. They run a carnival where they can each feed their demon halves and exist for millennia. Pandora has been captured and tortured in unbelievable and horrible ways. Brainwashed how can she be sure her actions are her own? A lot of action, drama, mystery, and adult content. Two thumbs up!

Awesome follow up!

Loved this book. It was little better than the second one with all the lovey dovey stuff between Asher and Pandora. Lots of action throughout the whole book leading to a twister at the end. I loved the fact that we finally learned about Asher and his past. Although I don't know that it really did anything for the story, but it was still good info. Can't wait to read that last installment!!!

One step forward, two steps back. Just when you thought things could not get worse for Pandora, it does. Kidnapped by the Triad, Pandora spends a year experiencing a mix of brainwashing, torture, and endless agony. I hate to wait to see what happens next. I just hope that some good comes out of everything that she experienced and that in "Red Rain" things turn around for her. Overall, you have to read these books in order. Once you start, you won't want to stop.

Pandora's journey of discovering herself, fighting larger evil, and figuring out what is right, what is wrong, where is up and where is down continues. Fighting for her own HEA and take down a larger evil continues to tear her world apart and leaves us with a huge WTF just happened as the book ends. Page turner and definitely leaves us wanting more!
I really can't describe how much I love this series. It pushes almost all my buttons, and is enthralling.

I always usually enjoy Marie Hall's books, but these are the fucking best. Maybe not the first book, but the second and third are awesome. I'll be rereading them all before the final comes out in December.
