Pretty typical Blade, although a little longer than most I've read, and unnecessarily so. This is the farthest one I've read into the series and some things have happened since my last one. Blade now has a companion, Cheeky, a telepathic alien monkey. I wasn't enamored of that. Usually when such companions are used they are meant for humor and that was true here. Telepathy is also a 2 edged sword. But I'll have to go back a few and see how this set up developed.

A bit dated, but I liked the slight twist at the end. Shame we got to see more beyond that (Not sure if the french books which came after this were by the same people)

Richard Blade travels to new worlds and never fails to find danger and love. Good quick men's adventure read. Recommended
