This isn’t a story about a bad boy and a girl from the right side of the tracks. This is the story of a man and a woman discovering love is blind to how you grew up, who your friends are, and where you live. Love sees only the heart and soul of whom it belongs to.

Someone once said that the best way to predict the future is to invent it.

As a boy, Jayson Santiago made a vow

This one was okay. I loved the beginning and how this couple met, but after 51% I felt like it was dragging.

By the end of the book I was not sure I believed in the hero's love for the heroine. I did not "buy" the epilogue. The relationship felt like it was going in circles with the hero saying "he did not want a nother relationship and the heroine telling him, she wanted more.

4.5 Stars!

Once again Jessica Ingro has written a novel that is not your average cookie cutter story. She takes chances with her story lines and her characters. The emotions are raw, the connections deep, and the writing just draws you in. Urban Love Prophecy does not disappoint.

Jayson (Jay) Santiago grew up in a single parent home not in the best of neighborhoods. In other words, he grew up in the projects. He vowed to grow up, get out of his ci

Review for Urban Love Prophecy by Jessica Ingro

It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of Jessica Ingro, I’ve read everything that she’s released and basically loved every single word of it. She was able to turn a hater of love triangles into someone who not only tolerated it as a main plot device in a series, but LOVED it. I have read parts of the Love Squared series several times and can’t get enough of it. I have to be completely honest, the first time I heard about Urban Love Prophecy I had a moment o

Urban Love Prophecy was as a sexy, hot, and sweet story. I’ve always loved Jessica’s books but this is probably my favorite book from her!!

Tori had always grown up privileged but she lost everything after her sick father’s new wife took everything away from her. She even lost the ability to see her sick father. She lost everything but she took it all in stride and did what she had to do to survive. Tori and Jayson first met when she waitressed at a strip club. He was instantly attracted to the T

I went though so many emotions reading this. First I swooned at Jay, then I would be laughing, then I was pissed at Jay, then I wanted to claw out Ness' eyes and tackle Anabelle, then I was swooning again, then I'm laughing at T, then I'm pissed again and want to tackle him for the NY party thing. I felt like he was so full of BS. I stayed there for a while. I was so mad. Like so pissed off. Then I was proud of T and how she handled it, what she said, how she reacted. Then I was surprised. OMG, I JUST finished it and holy smokes, I LOVED it!!!!!!! What a great, great read!!!! I felt every emotion possible and now I feel totally "hung-over", lol!!!!! Wow, I am speechless in a great way:)

Absolutely freaking LOVED Tori and Jay....... What a highly emotionally charged read though, not gonna lie (even had some deal breaking issues for me personally but I put on my big girl panties and plowed through the story as best I could, lol), but oh, it was so w

SPOILERS..... wow this book got good reviews. I guess I was the only one who hated the hero. I was so mad reading this. After I was halfway through the book and the hero cheats on the heroine and she lets it go the same day I was done. Don't know why I continued reading. Then he did it again. Everytime he was a jerk he turned it around on her. I hate a heroine who is a dormat and Tori was one of the biggest I've read in a long time.

I LOVED this book. It was amazing. I remember when the cover reveal happened and I knew this was going to be one of those books that stuck with me long after reading it and I was right. This book BLEW me out of the water. I will warn you.. this book is not always pretty and has some very real scenes that may offend people so be forewarned.

REAL. RAW. SEXY. These are the words that come to mind when I think of Jessica Ingro’s latest release, Urban Love Prophecy. Not at all your typical love story, ULP presents the reader with real issues, a couple that is NOT perfect, that does not instantly get their HEA. This is what makes the story so real. These two have to work at it, have to overcome real obstacles to make this relationship work and to make it last. It’s not all hearts and flowers for Jayson and Tori, but their story is absol ...more

This book's synopsis is what attracted me to it in the first place. I was dying to get my greedy little fingers on it as fast as I could. When I first started reading it I instantly became hooked. A hot hip hop superstar and a rich girl from the country club. They couldn’t be any different even if they tried. I loved the idea of them being from different backgrounds, because it was almost like an unforbidden love.

The sex scenes where fast, but amazing. There was a lot of “smashin” and eve

I really enjoyed Urban Love Prophecy!! Tori and Jay have had very different lives but they are so good together! Tori is smart, sassy, sweet, down to earth, and determined to make the best of her life. She's not afraid to confront others or demand the respect she deserves. Jayson is a sexy rapper, businessman, and player. Tori and Jay are hot together! You can feel the chemistry when they are together. I love how Tori stands up to Jay and isn't afraid to challenge him. Honest. Gritty. Raw. Real.

"Love stories aren't meant to be tied up in a neat little bow. They're meant to show two people who can take the bad and spin it into something good. Who can accept the other for their faults no matter how messy they are."

The above quote, to me, is Urban Love Prophecy in a nutshell. Without giving anything away, I'll say that this book was honest, almost to a fault at times. It was REAL. In Urban Love Prophecy, Jessica Ingro gave readers a glimpse of a real, down-and-di

This was a good book well written good angst great characters and definitely HOT at times.

A little cliche. She was a bit of a pushover with whatever he wanted. I didnt feel his remorse and apology that strongly. However I do believe that he would be faithful from then on.

I'd read again.

It’s not a secret that I’m a huge fan of Ms. Jessica Ingro ever since reading Bound In Blue. I actually have most of her books on my reader except this one. That’s why I’m so happy when Ms. Ingro gave me a copy of this. I immediately started reading it right after I've finished with her other book The Taste of Mr. Davenport (BTW, that was so fvcking hot read) And now, I’m knocking myself for not reading this sooner. This is the kind of book where, once you start reading you’ll

I have become a huge fan of Jessica Ingro's ever since I read Love Square. When I saw she had a new book coming out, I knew I had to read it regardless of what it was about. Then I read the blurb and I knew it was a must read. Urban Love Prophecy was everything that I have come to know and love from Jessica Ingro. It was well written and was bursting with steam and sexiness. I loved the characters and was invested in their relationship right f

"Love is blind to how you grew up, who your friends are, and where you live. Love sees only the heart and soul of whom it belongs to,”

This was my first introduction to Jessica Ingro, and I can now say I have a lot to catch up on because this has me all kinds of excited!! I adore Jessica Ingro. Her books are amazing. This book is no less than amazing. I loved the characters, I loved the realistic look at love. It’s not perfect and it’s not always sunshine and rainbows, but it is always worth the fights and struggles. I loved that this book showed the real side of love!

Jayson grew up in the projects. He was determined at a young age that he wasn’t going to remain there. He was going to be so much more. He was going to make something of himself.

Urban Love Prophecy by Jessica Ingro

They say opposites attract but when it is Jayson (Jay) Santiago and Victoria (Tori) Watson, never a truer word was uttered but could this bad boy rapper make good with the onetime country club beauty?
Kudos to Jessica for the concept – it was perfect for the pair of them!

Can a guy from the wrong side of the tracks and a girl born into wealth fall in love? The age old questions, Can Love Conquer All, is asked and answered in Urban Love Prophecy.

When I started this I was like cool, it’s going to be the bad boy from the streets falling for the pretty little rich girl. What I read is so much more than just that.

Jay had it rough growing up, he did what he needed to not only to survive but help his single mother. He pulled himself out from the projects and made it to the big leagues as a rapper and producer. He still has that hardness that he got from the streets but under all the hard is the soft that has

I love a real love story, one that is not dripping in sticky sweet perfection. Sure we all love to read about hearts and flowers, but love is not always perfect and can make you do crazy things. Things you never thought you could be capable of, especially when you do not think you are worthy of true love. This love story shows you the ugly side filled with jealousy, mistakes, and infidelity. Yes, this is a love story with the good, the bad and the downright ugly. It is also a story of second cha ...more
