You know Brachiosaurus. Now meet Mbiresaurus raathi! This long-necked dino lived more than 230 million years ago in present-day Zimbabwe. It walked on two legs and ate both plants and animals. Its mouth was filled with sharp, sawlike teeth. Take a closer look . . . if you dare.
2.5 stars. This is a non-fiction easy-read aimed at 7-9 yos. It gives some simple information on a lesser known dinosaur. I particularly liked how it revealed how the scientists discover and piece together information about dinosaurs.
I do wish at times that more information was included. For example, they discuss the world being connected, before separating into continents - without ever really discussing why that is important/relevant to this book. They show a great diagram showing how long-necked dinosaurs increased in size over the years - but didn't label the different dinosaurs in the diagram, etc.
