June 3, 2023Power Puff Girls Volume 4
I didn’t get as much out of this Volume as I did the other one. Then I wondered why I could find Volume 1 and this is Volume 4 but not 2 and 3. My favorite thing about this volume is that Fuzzy Lotic “GET OFF MY PROPERTY!” will never not fail to be funny and make me laugh. It’s just the way he says it. Does it every time. At first, I thought the comic was gonna miss this lin and I was gonna be like “How can you use him and NOT use that line.” But they knew what they were doing and the story with him learning manners was kinda cute (Only in the end to snap when the people of Townsville didn’t and then go back to his usual country self). I was able to find some use with the fish but was that not the UGLLIEST fish you’ve ever seen? I was ready to get through with that story just so I wouuldn’t have to look at that fish anymore. Otherwise, the first Volume was a ittle bit better than that his.

Like Simpsons comics, these are more enjoyable for me cos it's easy to imagine the dialog in the Powerpuff Girls' voices. (similarly for the narrator, mojo jojo etc). Also the stories are pretty well done and the art is simple, bright and engaging. Fun.

I really enjoyed the illustrations and how the stories stayed true to the classic characters! I’ve got all the nostalgic 90’s
