I've been on a Shamara Ray kick off late. I enjoy how she incorporates food with romance without over doing it. The first 100 pages of this novel had a slow pace. It took awhile for the conflict to arise, but once it did things got interesting. I can't say this was as scandalous as the first installment, Recipe of Love. But it was nice to see the characters' progression. The writing was smooth and conversational with cheeky humor. I love the sophistication of her characters. The ending was okay. ...more

Developing New Rituals for a Lasting Love

“Rituals for Love” picks up where “Recipe for Love” leaves off with Jade and Cain a year into their world wind romance. They are at a happy place in love and see no reason not to dive head first into a business venture. Can lovers also be business partners? Only time will tell.

Great novel really enjoyed it. Rituals for a lifetime of happiness. jade and Cain's story let's you know that ultimately without open lines of communication you can lose out on love thankfully they realized early enough to save their relationship and they also proved you can be lovers and business partners. overall a great read! ...more

Loved it.... Jade had me so frustrated with her at times but it did help me to see that matters of the heart need to be dealt with asap... enough of the foolishness.....Cain is that man although he was slacking sometime as well
