Say Uncle

A bratty middle meets his match in his strict step-uncle when he pushes all the wrong buttons.

Samson

There were other ways I could’ve spent my summer, but my sister’s stepson needed a swift kick in the rear and she thought I was the perfect man for the job. I’m no brat tamer, so being saddled with one wasn't my idea of a good time, but I can see the appeal when my… less-than-conventional methods prove fruitful.

Matteo

Sam is an egotistical, cocky, rude, impatient jerk. He’s also my boss for the summer… and my stepmom’s brother—did I mention he’s hot AF? He’s supposed to be teaching me a lesson about becoming a man and respecting authority, but his methods probably aren’t what my parents had in mind.

Say Uncle is an MM taboo tropical romance with MM+ play with no cheating. Features an age gap, a bratty sub, and a Dom who likes having his buttons pushed. Set sail aboard the Harlowe Two for a wild scorching summer adventure.

Damn, I knew this would be hot when Mattie enters the dynamic Nicky, Cass and Sam already had. He was such a challenge but Sam handled him so well.

“I wanted to know what we’re called.”
“We who?”
“You know, the four of us? What is the correct term for our dynamic? A foursome? A quadruple? A quad?”

Sam grinned his sexy half-smirk. “I don’t know what you call it. How about happy? We’re just happy.”

Enjoyed this way more than book one and it felt a lot more balanced.

I love the relationship dynamics with Sam, Mattie, Cass and Nicky, and I definitely preferred that Nicky wasn't the focus this time because the whole 'little' thing honestly weirds me out a lot. I'm way more into the Daddy/boy relationship when there's a brat involved.

I actually would like to read more about these guys which surprised me!

I came back for more filth, and more filth I got! But not meh filth, sweet, mega hot and rewarding filth!

We´ve met Matteo, Sam´s bratty step-nephew in book 1, and now he joins the crew for loads of first times, stuffies, punch cards, red bottoms and loads more!

“I don’t know who’s touching me,” Nicky cried.
Mattie chuffed. “I don’t care who’s touching me. Just please don’t stop.”

Don’t come here for some depth or super meaningful true love book or plot, that's not the point here. The point is to burn with them, in that Caribbean hottish paradise, have fun and see four men loving each other in their own way. Raquel even provides some mini angst and jealous moments from Mattie, obviously followed by loads of love and aftercare. This is just sweet porn 🥵🥹.

“I wanted to know what we’re called.”
“We who?”
“You know, the four of us? What is the correct term for our dynamic? A foursome? A quadruple? A quad?”
Sam laughed. “This is what you two fight about? You have way too much time on your hands.”(...)
Sam grinned his sexy half-smirk. “I don’t know what you call it. How about happy? We’re just happy.”

I felt that Cass was a the fourth wheel in this book, he never interacts with Mateo and just is there. Writing MMM scenes and getting the connection right is hard, MMMM scenes it’s even harder. I liked book 1 better.

Ps: will never ever look at a blowfish the same way!

The bonus story… JFC these guys take role playing very seriously, so seahorses and beef jerky and everything can go smoothly!

I feel like we’re just getting started.”
“We are. This is the beginning of everything.”

Part two of the Sinful Summers Duet you have Sam finding is the other half and the fourth to this relationship. For Cass, Nicky, and Sam, it's as simple as the person who ends up with Sam needs to be comfortable with their dynamic of this relationship could never work. Matteo is a brat, yes, but he just needs a strong nourtuing hand who will also discipline him. Once Matteo allows himself to be open, the chemistry is off the charts with all the men in this relationship. Yes, Sam is his partner, but Cass & Nicky are also a huge part of his life. This book is pure fire, loved all the explorations they tried out as a group, and separately.

This book was cute and hot!

As Sam was already involved with Nicky and Cass, I was afraid that it would diminish Sam and Mattie’s relationship.

While we get to see Sam and Mattie falling for each other, we also see Mattie fitting in with Nicky and Cass too.

This was well written because its tricky to write a poly relationship while also keeping it clear which boy belongs to who! The dynamics were adorable and the spice was spicing!

I also really loved how Mattie was seeking equality between him and Cass and how seamlessly he managed to fit in with all of them!

Sam was a lot less stern that I expected him to but that wasn’t a bad thing. The only thing I would have liked to see more is Mattie engaging a bit more with Cass!

Nicky the chronic yapper didn’t shut his mouth for a second and I will never ever view blowfish the same way again…

I’m glad they all found happiness!

A MM romance which takes us on an adventure in a yacht where a Step-Uncle falls for his Step-Nephew. It's a fun, sweet Forbidden Love, age gap romance (~21 yrs) with banters, emotions & kinky times!
I devoured my #ARC within 5hrs. Loved Sam & Matteo! It was amazing to see how they fit in with Cass & Nicky.

Sam (41) is Cass's business partner & in kink relationship with C+Nicky. Sam's a Dom with a lil sadistic streak, he's a hardass but caring, protective too.
Matteo is Sam's step-nephew. M's a brat & goes to toe with S 😆. He's cocky but with his own hardships with his a$$hole Dad, loved his sweet side!

S+M's relationship is so fun with the banters, then the vulnerability & heartwarming moments steal hearts! Nicky's horny sunshine also grows on M 😁. I liked to see how M fits in the whole dynamic. M grows to love Sam & N, even if it's different loves. We get Sam+Cass sweet scenes too, which I ADORED 😍. M+N did give me S+C feels!

I was BUMMED that M & Cass don't interact as much as N & Sam had in book 1 🥺. I wanted to see them too 😭! Overall, I loved to see the 4 be a family. So kinky omg 😆🥵, HOTTT. This may be a MM+MM duet, but I definitely got poly feels, loved that. That bonus, holy f 🥵.

What to say about Uncle Sam. Well, first and foremost, it was a sizzling hot, kinky, fun, and sinful summer read for sure! I really enjoyed part one of the duet, and part two did not disappoint. Seeing Cass, Nicky, and Sam grow and adding Mattie into the dynamic and becoming more, was off the charts hot, heartwarming, and so satisfying all around. Nicky is the perfect boy, and Mattie is the perfect brat, and I loved every interaction they had together and with their men. I very much enjoyed seeing these four come together as they navigated the path to their HEA. It was everything I could have wanted from them and more!

P.s. Check out the bonus scene, it's wild!

***Just listened to this on audio, and it's crazy hot!! Fantastic performance by the narrators!

Oh boy, Mattie, you have to dim your attitude, it will get you in so much trouble.

Sam wasn’t amused but reluctantly agreed to take his step-nephew, Mattie, on board with him, Cass, and Nicky for the summer. According to his sister, Mattie is unmanageable.

“When a brat pushed my buttons, it never failed to make my dick hard. And Matteo was the brattiest of brats.”

Wait until you understand what’s really going on! Thank goodness Sam sees through Mattie’s behavior and knows what the boy needs.
What follows is just so much fun, there’s a mountain of sexiness.
You know Nicky is sexually insatiable, he’s so lucky to have three men he can satisfy and be satisfied by.
Mattie is first and foremost a brat, Sam is happy to guide Mattie, and watching him melt and become his beautiful self was a treat.

Watching the four of them together is almost indescribable, the chemistry is off the charts, the daily atmosphere is friendly, and full of fun and kindness, Cass and Sam always get the best out of their boys, who know how to keep their Daddy/Dom on their toes.
The interactions between them are so tantalizing and satisfying! Their love is pure and beautiful!

The story takes us, just as in Father Figure, to the most beautiful places on earth, I loved so much!
Nicky is a nerd, a walking encyclopedia, I loved all the knowledge he gave us.
To be honest I could live forever in this world. So uplifting!
The writing was flawless, the pace was perfect, and the whole content together was the best!
The author did a more than wonderful job.

I hated this. Really, really hated it. I mostly had problems with Nicky, whose overt childishness and sluttiness made me feel really uncomfortable and gross. He is not even one of the main couple in this book, but I actually just had about as much of him as I can take. I don't mind an age gap, and I don't mind a D/s dynamic, I kind of enjoy it in fact. But what I loathe with all of my soul is whatever this is. Big/little? I know you're not meant to kink-shame, but I will never be okay with how much like a little kid Nicky was behaving, it was awful. I ended up skimming most of this book just so I could say I got to the end and still hated it.

The story is actually about Sam and Mateo, uncle and nephew by marriage, but now also lovers. Maybe that would have worked on its own without Nicky and Cass in the mix. Mateo is a lot more mature and complex than Nicky. But as it was, this is actually a story about 2 emotionally immature men in their forties who want to have sex with teenagers. It was gross.

(DNF@41% on August 24th, 2024) I didn't feel like there was any real connection between Matteo and Sam. According to the blurb these two were supposedly main couple of the story but there was more focus placed on Matteo and Nicky's relationship than Matteo and Sam's. I was hoping for a different kind of story, Daddy/boy and poly-relationships are not exactly my jam, but I could have maybe gotten into it, if this also didn't feel completely superficially written in both romantic and erotic aspects.

Themes: dual POV, step uncle/step nephew, age difference, Daddy/boy, polyamory

I've received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion and review.
5/5⭐'s

I LOVED this book, probably even more than the first! Raquel Riley does an amazing job at mixing fun, serious and sexy times in the final of the Sinful Summers duet!

I was obsessed with the dynamic between not only Mattie and Sam, but also Mattie and Nicky as well. As we've learned from the first book Nicky is a little bundle of joy, and is so lovable. Clearly Mattie feels the same. I loved the interactions between all of them so much. And the spice 🔥🥵🥵 oh my lord! It was SO HOT. Blew my mind away in some scenes. This is a MM + MM book and there are scenes with all four of them so if that's not your jam be aware but for me I was here for ALL of it 😈.

Mattie is definitely the perfect bratty, vers subby boy and kept Sam on his toes, which was Sam's perfect match honestly. I did like how they came together in the end, and I also liked how they dealt with slight jealousy issues. It was nothing major, but Mattie is more sensitive than I think any of us realized from the small interactions from the first book and he definitely had his reasons why.

It was also just awesome to see Cass and Nicky, and how their relationship has blossomed from the first book too. The only thing I wish there was more of, was interactions (especially of the sexy variety) between Cass and Mattie. It seemed like they didn't have very many scenes together, which is understandable in a way since Mattie and Sam were the main focus, but I am hoping there will be future tidbits or novellas of how their relationship grows in the future since all four are in a poly relationship now.
All in all, I adored this duet. It's kinky, spicy, sweet and everything in between and truthfully a very good palate cleanser in between those more angst filled novels. Can't wait to see what else this author has in store for us 🥰❤️.

ARC REVIEW:
Another banger by Raquel!! This was just as wild and filthy as the first one and I loved every minute of it!! I absolutely adored mattie and nicky’s relationship! Nicky continues to show how adorable and precious he is! Everyone needs someone like him in their life! And I just love how happy he is all the time and I adore his annoyingly love for the ocean and seahorses lol I think is so cute and Mattie.. he surprised me! I really didn’t think I was going to enjoy him cause we already knew going into this book that he’s a little shit from meeting him in the first book but I ended up really loving him and loved watching his growth through the book and his relationship with Sam was actually very sweet and I loved it for them. Overall this book was funny, sweet and FILTHY AF! Can’t wait for you guys to read it!

Say Uncle is a fun, low-angst, sun-soaked ride. I loved the summer vibes, the yacht setting, and the trips through the Caribbean and Florida which made it feel like a true vacation read. The chemistry between Mattie and Sam is playful and charged, with plenty of brat-taming tension and some seriously hot group scenes with Cass and Nicky.

While the spice level is high and varied, the intimate moments didn’t give me a lot of emotional impact, so it felt more physical than heartfelt. Still, it’s the kind of book that’s perfect when you just want to relax, enjoy the heat, and let the story carry you.

Adore these guys and was so happy to get this second book! Mattie fits into the dynamic perfectly and my heart is happy for Sam to have his boy within this polycule quartet.
It would have been nice to have more Cass; it felt like he was thrown in as a reminder every now and again, rather than an equal partner like Nicky was portrayed.

This was so so good. And soo hot. I have been waiting for this book since I finished the first one. Sam and Mateo did not disappoint. I love them together so much. Sam is a strict step uncle and Mateo is the biggest brat ever. They compliment each other so well, and I LOVED that Cass and Nicky still played a big role. I love all these men so much.

2.5 ⭐️Not as good as the first one. I thought this was Sam and Mattie’s story but it was Mattie, Nicky, and Sam’s story and Cass was also there. I didn’t like the way Sam was part of a throuple with Cass and Nicky one minute and was very much a third wheel the next. Cass even calls him a third wheel at one point but when Sam falls in love Nicky tells Mattie the three of them are a package deal. What a shit deal for Sam. Also Nicky was lowkey annoying throughout in a way that was meant to endearing but was instead cringe worthy.

ARC Review: Say Uncle is the beautiful conclusion to the Sinful Summers duet and the sweetest HEA for this quad. Sam and Mattie are perfectly sweet and adorable but also bratty and demanding. Throw Cass and Nicky into the mix and it’s the best combination I could’ve asked for! Nicky and Mattie will keep Sam and Cass on their toes and have brought both of them a happiness they never thought they’d find.

•Mattie is just a jaded young man that is afraid to go after what he wants due to the demands of his family and personal life. He doesn’t handle those emotions very well and comes across as bratty and rude when he’s really a sweet boy with unlimited potential. He just needed someone to show him the life he deserves to fully blossom and live his truth.
•Sam is a Dom with a tough side but really he’s just a sweet marshmallow. He knows when to keep Mattie in line and when to allow Mattie to grow and transform on his own. He allows Mattie to make mistakes, punishes him when needed and allows him learn from all of it. Sam loves his dynamic with Cass and Nicky but Mattie is truly his missing piece. I loved seeing him live his fullest life!
•Nicky and Mattie form a bond from the start, even if Mattie had walls up. Nicky never lets anyone bring him down and he quickly wraps Mattie around his finger. The friendship and romantic relationship with these two is adorable and so swoony. I love them both!!!

This book is full of the filthiest spice and I devoured it!! It’s also incredibly sweet and full of love too! Mattie and Sam truly are the perfect couple and find home within each other. This duet is a top read of the year for me and I can’t wait to see what comes next from Raquel!

Sam + Mattie = ❤️ + Nicky + Cass = 🔥

4 Stars ⭐️

I knew this was going to spicy, I knew this was going to have insane chemistry X's 4 but what I didn't prepare for was the depth of emotion from Mattie, my heart hurt for him. I loved getting to know him and finding out the reason for his brattiness. I adored the interactions between him and Nicky, it was adorable how Nicky tore down every single defense that Mattie had in place to protect his heart from these men. I enjoyed seeing the softer side of Sam but loved his sexy domineering side the best. If I had one complaint and I use that term loosely because this book was fire, I would have liked seeing Mattie and Cass interact some more to make the love seem more believable between the two. The sexy times were so damn sexy, like wow!! Sweet was so super sweet and the HEA was everything I wanted for these men. I highly recommend, anything Raquel Riley writes is Gold!

Say Uncle is the second book in the Sinful Summers Duet. In my opinion this book is best read after the first book in the Sinful Summers Duet. This is Sam and Mattie’s story but it also involves Nicky and Cass. Let me just say Raquel Riley knows how to bring the heat. I loved all the guys in this duet because they are all so different. I love poly relationship stories but I also loved the way Raquel Riley made sure we knew who each boy truly belonged to. This was a great fun summer read with great characters, plenty of heat, discipline and love. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

Combined well with the first book. Figuring out dynamics in a group of four wasn't an issue at all in this story, Mattie fit right in. I preferred the travelling parts of the plot in the first book, this second book focussed almost too much only on the four men. Mattie's anger issues turned out to be for a really understandable reason, and it was good that he finally found people who supported him. I'm certain all readers will never see a stuffed fish the same way again.

I absolutely loved these four!!! I'm so happy that Sam fell in love with Mattie!!! And everyone NEEDS a Nicky in their lives! He is the happiest most fun loving person ever, what a good boy! I love how Mattie flourishes!! I'm so mad at how his father acted! I was overly happy that Sam and Mattie were getting together but I really needed them to keep their dynamic with the four of them so them all buying a house together was so perfect and everything I needed!!!

The Summer is Hot

This book is a fun read for those who like things naughtical. When there’s sand and sun boys just want to have fun. That’s what you get in this book. This is a duet that you definitely should read if you like these types of things.

This was even more filthy and hotter than the first one. I really liked Mattie and not sure that Sam was being fair to him at first but saw how he had feelings for him that were unexpected. These stories made me want to cruised around the islands and I don't like hot and humid weather at all.
They were so good together and knew they would be happy in their lives.

ARC Read

This is part two of the sinful duet just like the first book I don’t have massively negative or positive feelings towards the book I’m indifferent about it, I did however like this one better than the first one.
Matteo was a brat who just needed some discipline and praise I feel like Matteo received the praise he needed however the discipline element was lacking especially for how much Sam talked about needing to put him in his place. Sam and Matteo definitely had a lot of chemistry and I did really like them together however at times I felt like the book focused too much on Nicky and Matteo together I get it was to showcase that Matteo was okay with the dynamic he was entering which was what Sam needed in a partner but it made them the focal point of the book instead of Sam and Matteo.
I loved how much Sam wanted to help Matteo weather it was teaching him how to do stuff on the boat, helping him move out or encouraging him to pursue his dreams of photography he only wanted the best for Matteo at all times it was really cute to see.

Yes, as expected both Sam and Mattie are more my kind of people. Though the build up here was less intense than the previous book. The spice is again hot hot hot. I did wish Cass and Mattie to bond a bit more. They didnt have any interaction other than occational physical one and even that wasnt very intense.

But... same problem as the first book. Nicky and Cass's daddy dynamic... Nicky, even just by himself when Cass isnt around now is a fully turned zombie boy who, instead of acting like he is 15 like it is by the end of last book, is now acting like a 5 year old😭 Which is just 100% not my thing. I had very hard time reading some parts. Like the whole punch card thing, where he does 'good deed' to get a punch so his daddy will get him a toy😵... i mean we know Nicky is a smart guy, he is in college, very knowledgeful, studying to be a marine biologist. How the hell will he function in the world when he is filling his "daddy's good deed puncting cards to get the plushie".🙄 and the fact that they put a fleshlight in a toy and asked him to do things to it, while he was resisting like a kid😭😭 I really cant...He didnt start of like this. He was a fully functioning person. It's not my favorite dynamic anyway but one of the MCs acting like a full on child is not a bif NO from me. Nicky is simply unable to act older than 5 years here. Poor Brian(Nicky's dad) when he sees this😅

Still, if the point was to write a fun, sexy book with paradise vibes, it was definetly on point.

FOUR!! FOUR!! HOT!!!

SINFUL SUMMERS DUET Book #2 is hotter than Book #1. RAQUEL RILEY is a MAGNIFICENT writer who loves her men. Cass, Sam and Nicky are still running their business. Mateo is Sam's extremely feisty step nephew. He seems to be aimless and temperamental. He's also disrespectful. Trouble with a capital T, Sam agrees to take him on. This is a summer filled with truth, discovery and hidden desires. It's fun, hot and full of sweet Nicky's chatter. These men treat this newbie to a summer of new beginnings, understanding and hope. Love is love and dreams can be realized if you have the courage to go for it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS SINFUL SUMMERS DUET!!!!!!!!!!

This was thoroughly delightful.

Even though this book was about Sam and Matteo, Nicky stole the book. He was the one that made you feel good. Sam and Matteo didn't get along at first but when Matteo figured out who he was and wanted to live his life, nothing would stop the two of them from pursuing other pleasures. Matteo chose the family that he wanted.
