I adore all things Christine Bell, so when I had the opportunity to get my hands on Fix You, I jumped.

I had no idea what I was getting into… I didn’t even read the summary!

Fix You is a serial that will be told in three parts all arriving fairly quickly, though not quick enough if you’re greedy like I am.

On the outside, Olivia seems to have it all. The perfect boyfriend, the rich family… but appearances can be deceiving for sure. After recently finding out her family is near

Christine Bell has done it again. FIX YOU, book 1 in Bash and Olivia's story, was one I couldn't put down and when I got the end I wanted to scream.

Despite a less than romantic meeting in a local bar, college student Olivia Beckett can't resist the draw of Sebastian "Bash" McDaniels. Despite his warnings to stay away, Olivia convinces Bash to give her self defense lessons. He knows her should do them, because he needs to concentrate on his fighting and not the beautiful girl he's training, but

I get that this is supposed to be a little novella and such but it was pretty terrible. The characters are all such stereotypes and there's no depth to them. I didn't spend a dime on this book and I'm so thankful. Bash is some big manly boxer type that immediately resorts to violence when he himself condemns it (in a good way). I don't understand why he couldn't just lift that jackass Adam or whatever his name was and throw him out the door like a good bouncer/bartender would do instead of

Olivia is in her 3rd year of College - now it's Spring Break - and she could have the time of her life. But not only is her boyfriend getting more violent with each passing day - her family is about to lose all their money.

That's when she meets Sebastian - Bash - in a Bar.

He saves her from being hurt by her 'boyfriend' Andy. By hitting him in the face - Bash's really good at that - he's about to become a professional boxer.

That's why he can't have any new complications in his

This was a quick short,(seriously only about an hour) hot read.

Olivia Beckett life has turned to shit, and her boyfriend is becoming more and more abusive on top of it all.

One night while out, she is saved by Bash McDaniels, when Andy takes things a bit too far.

As I said this is a short novella so it spans a week and is the beginning of Bash and Olivia's story.

Olivia stands to lose everything.
Bash doesn't have much to lose.

A new take on the uptown girl and the guy from the wrong side of
I'm really torn on whether to give this 4 or 5 stars.

On the one hand, the first 25-ish percent was a bit of a struggle. Olivia's excuses for an abusive boyfriend she wasn't even in love with annoyed me greatly. I disliked how she didn't even have a backbone with her fake friends. Somewhere around that mark I thought she was going to be a weak heroine and I debated not finishing, but it's not like it's a long book, so I soldiered on.

I'm really glad I did. By 34% I was warming to Olivia. Shortly

It seems an upcoming trend to cut one novel into three pieces and release each piece every couple of weeks. Honestly I do not understand why authors are doing this. I'm one of those people who reads her books in one breath, like start and finish it on the same day, week maximum. So reading a story and just when things gets interesting, the book stops and I have to wait three weeks 'till I can read the next part, it is not meant for me. First of all I don't have the patience for that and second ...more

I've only read one other serial novel before, so I was prepared for the novella feel, but in no way was I prepared for the ending! It wasn't a cliffhanger per say, but it definitely left me desperate to get my hands on the next book! I really enjoyed reading Christine's books from the Brazen line, so I knew I would I enjoy this one. For being the first serial, it sure packs a steamy punch!

Pacing: Due to the fact that these are serial reads, the pacing is very fast- Christine does not hesitate in

Unfortunately, Fix You was not for me. I have been known to enjoy the serial books that are becoming a "thing" but, I think this book would have been better off sitting a little bit longer and coming out as a full story and not pieced out. I feel that the serials are meant for very emotional, and raw stories. Fix You didn't accomplish that with me. It felt disjointed and very rushed. I could not bring myself to like the heroine, Olivia, she seemed childish, and naive. Whereas, Bash has so much ...more
Sebastian (Bash) is a boxer hoping to make it big so that he can finally leave Boston, once and for all. He lives above a gym that he and his two brothers own and has a rigorous training schedule. In his off time he works at a local pub, that is until he gets into a fight one night protecting a girl from her abusive boyfriend. The boyfriend is rich and ready to make Bash pay, especially when he thinks that Bash is out to get his girl. Bash doesn’t need the distraction of a girlfriend right now ...more

What a hot and sexy read! I had no idea what I was getting into when I started the first volume of Fix You by Christine Lee but I’m SO glad I jumped in with both feet. In Fix You, Book One, we meet Bash/Sebastian and Olivia. Bash is this super-hot and sexy boxer who’s preparing for his next big fight. He’s surrounded by his brothers and is working to stay under the radar until he’s ready to leave town. Olivia is a college student who’s wrapped up in a relationship with a boyfriend who’s

Fix You, Bash and Olivia Book One (The McDaniels Brothers #1) by Christine Bell

Christine Bell has written a short novella that is around 74 pages that introduces us to The McDaniels Brothers series. This novella is well written, story flows extremely well and was a very enjoyable read. Fix You tells us the story of Bash and Olivia.

Olivia life is falling apart, her boyfriend who she thought was great is now showing his true self and she is not sure what to do about it and how to get away from his

My review of “Fixing You.”

I liked “Fixing You” by Christine Bell. It was a short read. More a novella than anything else. I didn’t know that when I got the ARC to review it. I probably would have reviewed it even knowing it was a novella, but it’s more than that—it’s a serial. And I just don’t like serials. I don’t see the point in them. Had I know that’s what it was, I would have taken a pass on reviewing “Fixing You.” Not because it wasn’t good; it was. But I have so many books lined up to

In Book 1 I’m pretty sure Bash stole my heart, we all love a knight in shining armor but we love one in a tight t-shirt so much more! Bash swoops in a saves Olivia from one bad situation and that sets the ball rolling in their journey for the next 3 books. Bash is a fighter in every sense of the word. He’s fought his entire life to get somewhere and be someone more than he is. But all that is put into jeopardy when he bumps into one girl. And all his work to keep his eye one the prize is put ...more

Fantastic story! I love how this story has been written and the authors excellent choice of words. This is definitely a series I would want to continue reading. This is a 'real' story about bad things happening to good people, sacrifices that needs to be made for the ones you love. Yes you get a glimpse of the good, the bad and the ugly, but you also get to see the real, the love and mix in some sexiness! Loved it!

Keep your eye on the prize...
This book is a prize, how so much awesomeness could be crammed into such a short book is mind boggling. "How good could it be? So f__**ing good." Bash and Olivia, two people with issues, knew that it would be a bad idea. But knowing and doing are two different things. How could she resist him? I know I couldn''ll make you wanna line your soft parts up with his hard ones. Can it be fixed?
Great read. The writing totally sucked me in.

We get dual POV - my favorite!!!

This book kept me turning the pages.

Bash is totally yummy. Stand up guy, he saves Olivia when she needs it the most.

Chemistry between these two is off the charts.

BUT ohmigod, what a CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!! That is brutal.

I can't WAIT to read the next book.

Oh sweet Lord.

I liked Olivia, but not completely loved her. At least not in this one.

Bash, on the other hand, loved him. The guy has the shittiest of lucks though, lol.

Andy. Oh Andy, I want him hanged by the balls by the end of the series. JS.

Attempted to read in the Love & College anthology.
DNF before chapter 3. Either this is crap, or I'd well and truly grown numb to the three previous crap stories which preceeded this one..

Olivia's boyfriend Andy has been getting a little crankier than normal, last week he left bruises on her and shook her violently. This time, he pinned her against a wall, punched said wall right next to her face then grabbed her throat. Nightclub worker and hottie Sebastian aka Bash, came to her rescue.

Bash and Olivia are from two different worlds. She's privileged, he's trying to make end's meet by boxing and managing a business with his two brothers. Her boyfriend refuses to let her go, so Bash has to cut those ties.
