Devoured by Jason Brant

Lance, by his own admission, was a loser. Stuck in a failed marriage and unable to keep a job, he had succumbed to depression and had pretty much given up. While walking down the street talking to an old coworker that he hadn’t seen in years, he noticed an incoherent woman stumbling toward an intersection and certain death. He was struck by a car when he pushed the woman to safety, but the insanity was just beginning. While in the hospital, he learned that the woman was

Great read

A tense, fun, adventure with great characters, and great storyline.
Not exactly zombies, not exactly vampires, not exactly any current being, but fearful and horrid. The end of humanity? with a lot of kindness and horror thrown in.

The Hunger Series is a must read…

I've enjoyed following these characters through their trials as they are haunted by the Vladdies at every turn. Brant really paces these books and, just when you think the characters are gaining a few steps, they're pushed back by yet another turn of events.

This is definitely another fast-paced, action-packed thriller from the talented Jason Brant. Lance starts out as a whiny shell of a man, and for good reason. His life is in the toilet. Yet he

First of all I just want to state that I don't own the Omnibus edition but I have bought and read all three books of The Hunger by Jason Brant and you are welcome to look at my reviews under my name. With that said I sure wish I had been able to buy them in one big book, not just because you save money but because it was sheer torture waiting on each new one to come out.

In Book 1 Devoured we first met Lance who's a bit of a loser. He can't hold a job, his marriage is on the rocks and things just

I really enjoyed this trilogy, zombie or should that be vladdie, apocalypse stories are epic fun. This is an action packed story with nice little bit of romance thrown in... and an HEA.

wow, when you like a book you can certainly finish it in a hurry.

the emotions that I felt in that book weren't fair. I got to involved in these super likeable characters and I started caring if things happened to them. (status updates show my progression)

this books collects the 3 hunger books into a single impossible to put down book. I picked this book up thinking it was going to be a traditional zombie/monster story. it evolved into much more than that to me. it was a story of survival, hope,
