Leanne Banks was born on 14 May 1959 in Roanoke, Virginia, USA. She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology, which she claims she can only use on fictional characters. When her first book was published in 1991, she used the money from her advance to take her family to Disney World.

Leanne is known for telling a story with strong emotion, characters with whom everyone can relate, a kick of hot sensuality, and a feel-good ending that lingers. She believes in creating stories for her readers that will allow them to escape into a place filled fun, emotion and sensuality. She believes that she has the best readers in the world because they understand that love is the greatest miracle of all.

Leanne is the recipient of Romantic Times Magazine's career-achievement awards in Series Sensuality and Love and Laughter, and her books have been recognized by the Award of Excellence Contest, the Romance Writers of America RITA Award contest and the National Readers' Choice Awards. She is grateful for awards and reviews and was particularly moved by a letter from a reader remarking that Leanne's book got her through a chemotherapy session. The reader's letter inspired a favorite turn of phrase: Never underestimate the power of a romance novel.

Leanne lives in her native Virginia with her husband, two teenage children and a Pomeranian. She also has a little condo in South Carolina where she writes in the off-season. She loves music, chocolate, quotes, and new adventures.

I loved it when I found a book that so unexpectedly turned out to be so good. I was captivated by Daniel and Erin's story. This is the kind of story that makes you believe in heroes and happy-ever-after.

Due to the unexpected death of the King and Emma's brother, the Prince, and as per the Altarian law, only the male descendants can assume the throne, making Daniel Connelly, the eldest son of Princess Emma and Grant, the heir to the throne. In short, he's the future King of Altaria. Erin, a royal etiquette and Palace liaison, was sent to teach/fill Daniel in on Royal Protocol and persuade Daniel not to accept the role of her father's instruction, the Foreign Minister of Altaria. Could Erin convince Daniel or see that he is exactly what they needed as their King? And could Daniel be able to make Prim and Proper Erin let loose and forget got to be perfect?

Daniel Connelly is a man every girl dreamed of. He's sweet, fun, sensitive, considerate, honorable, responsible... while he does sound too perfect, I assure you that he isn't. He has his flaws also, but in a sense, it made him feel real.

And Erin is my kind of heroine. She's sweet, responsible, smart, gave as good as she gets, and got a big heart. What Erin had been through made me sad. I understand why she willingly helps her father at first because she saw that as a chance to forge a bond with him.

"I always thought that if I were perfect, then someone would want me with them all the time, and I wouldn't have to be alone."

I loved that the build-up of romance between Daniel and Erin was relatively slow. I loved that they could get to know each other well before they jumped to the bed. And when they did... Wow! They had great chemistry, and you could tell they were meant to be together. Aside from Daniel and Erin, I also enjoyed meeting some of the members of the Connellys. And I'm looking forward to reading their own stories.

All in all, Tall, Dark, and Royal was such an entertaining read and immensely satisfying!

I began to like this book more as I neared the end. SonI would say a 31/2 rating. I hope the series continues to get better. I like Daniel and his loyalty . Could be more descriptive of what is going on. Does not compare with the Cattleman's Club series yet

Connelly 01 - Un Trono Para Compartir

Argumento:
