Dakota has two passions in life: writing and cinnamon tea. Tea so strong she ought to be able to see her future when she drinks it, and the writing? Well she hopes it makes you see stars when you read it. She creates reverse harem romance novels filled with things that go bump in the night. That handsome werewolf walking down the street? The suave vampire you’re just dying to get a taste of? You’ll find them enraptured by charming, smart ladies ready to make those bad boys work for their affection. When not writing, Dakota can be found on the back of a horse out on the trail or tending the animals on her farm.

Nightmare's Flight, Dreambound Book 3, by Dakota Brown.

I absolutely love this series. Dakota Brown has a way with words. She pulls you in and makes you feel like you're part of the action.
When Ember was a young girl, she played a wedding game with three of her friends. Turns out those friends were princes from Nightmare and that in the way of dreams, that wedding was binding. Years later, Ember forgot all about her childhood game, but Nightmare did not forget about Ember.
Now, as an adult, and successful circus performer, Ember's past is catching up to her. Dream and Nightmare are falling apart. Her princes are in trouble. And, who knows what the consequences will be for everyone in the waking realm.
I highly recommend this trilogy. Read them in order. I cannot wait for the spinoff/ book 4 to follow. Five stars.

I had anxiously awaited the third book in this series after having been fully engrossed in the wonder and adventure of the first two. I devoured the arc copy I received (which I thank the author for profusely), but was left wanting with this installment of the series. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it, it just felt rushed towards the end. I understand author deadlines are a serious dilemma when writing, but I hope she expands on these books. I’m especially curious about Ash and the Princesses. Or how Effie became dreambound. This is a great series all around and I look forward to adding the hard copies to my personal library.

Excellent Series!!

Fantastic story! Read it, you won’t be disappointed! Main character is part of a traveling group that uses silks and the writing is so good you’ll think you have the same talent! Can’t wait for more!

I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters. I'm glad that everything worked out for them and they were able to get on their lives together.

I recieved a advanced copy/arc for my honest review. This was a excellent end for the series, with out giving anything away we will find out if the fmc will be able to save all her men before the nightmare relm is destroyed and they all parish. We will meet unlikely allies and the nothingness continues to be a huge threat. The end of the book is so exciting. I totally recommend this series

Honestly, I was pretty relieved to reach the conclusion of this series.

At some point the super amazing idea behind the dream realm and the nightmare realm stopped being able to carry this series.

The characters are boring and have ZERO depth. I have zero effs about any of the characters, except possibly bloody mary and that's mostly likely to do with the fact that she’s out of a well known ghost story we all grew up with and less likely to be because she was a strong character in this book.

The plot was flat and boring and the “big bad” and their motivations behind taking down Ember was an absolute joke.
