Ruchi Chandra Verma, is working in IT industry. She is a painter, an artist, and an avid healthy baker, who’s passion is to write poetry, articles and stories and reads anything fiction, she can get her hands on. She currently lives in Bangalore with her husband and child.
She wrote her first story at the age of 9 years, but never got around to finishing it. The focus those days being on studies and sports much more than story writing. She re-discovered her love for writing during her engineering college days and has been writing ever since. It all started with writing a few couplets, poems, mainly to channelize her thoughts or feelings but soon, became a better way of expression and imagination started seeping in.
Writing took a backseat for a while, as life took over, with a full-time working career, family, and young child to manage, but soon the restlessness brought back the thrill she felt in writing. Once a friend casually told her, that she had a way with words and she never looked back.
In 2019, she started with publishing her poetry on Amazon Kindle and soon moved onto writing short stories and novels.
Viraj is a stalker at its best. A big brother who loves his baby brother and could do anything for him. You will fall in love with him even when his character arc is drawn out to be negative at first. Whilst he stalks his dream girl silently, his friends throw him in front of her in embarrassing situations all the time.
Trisha is courageous, hardworking and beautiful. She stands for her family and takes care of them and makes sure they are fed well. No matter how much struggle she is facing alone or how she suffers the wrath of her alcoholic father to save her younger sister.
Their story wasn't very typical yet relatable. Where Viraj is a silent lover, Trish gets trashed down by the bad luck again when her good-for-nothing boyfriend deceives her, she is heartbroken and shattered. Viraj isn't just her stalker, he is her boss too and couldn't see her falling apart. However, protecting her and standing for her comes with a price for Viraj. Will he choose her over his throne?
This is a crisp narrative and finely executed story by Ruchi where you will experience going through various emotions. An emotionally charged, enchanting tale of love, courage, responsibilities and togetherness. Whilst I was immersed in Viraj and Trisha's twisted tale, I was equally intrigued by the secondary characters, who's going to get their one book thankfully! I loved Deeksha and Ana but I fell for Naman and shlok a bit more. And the epilogue left me on edge! Ruchi, that's not fair!
Definitely an outstanding start for the new series! A must read book that will leave you thoroughly satisfied but impatient for the next book in the series.
Viraj Rajvansh, a charming Casanova, never expected to experience love at first sight—until he does. On his way to his younger brother’s college, he stumbles upon an enchanting beauty who leaves him utterly mesmerized. For someone used to fleeting romances, this newfound emotion is both shocking and overwhelming. However, fate isn’t in his favor, as the woman who has stolen his heart is already in love with someone else.
Her life is a stark contrast to his; burdened by responsibilities, she has endured pain and made countless sacrifices for her family. Happiness feels like a distant dream for her, making it difficult for her to believe in love again. Viraj, the carefree Prince Charming, and she, the resilient yet weary commoner, seem worlds apart. Will their contrasting worlds collide to create a perfect love story, or will Viraj be left nursing a heartbreak? Will his desperate attempts to win her over push him into making mistakes, or will they choose to part ways forever?
Ruchi has a gift for crafting stories that highlight the beauty of friendship, and this book is no exception. The three best friends in the story stand out with their unwavering love, support, and humor. Their bond is heartwarming and unforgettable. Each character has a unique story to tell, but their friendship speaks volumes. It would be disappointing if Ruchi doesn’t have something planned for the other two because their presence is truly captivating.
Viraj Rajvansh is on his way to take care of his naughty younger brother at his college when he stumbles upon a scenic beauty and he is mesmerized and frozen. He has never seen such beauty and this new feeling for a Casanova like him is shocking. He never thought that he would be the one who would experience love at first sight. But to his luck his love at first sight is already in love with someone else. Her life is totally different, stressful and for her family. She has suffered a lot and sacrificed a lot. So now she is in a situation where believing in happiness is difficult for her. There is no match between them, if he is a Prince Charming then she is a beautiful commoner with baggage.
Will these poles apart people make a perfect pair or is it a heartbreak for our Casanova?? Will his desperation lead him to make mistakes or will it be a mutual goodbye??
Ruchi is good at weaving stories that showcase friendship bonds at a different level. In this story also the three best friends captured my attention, they are the epitome of love, care, and a good sense of humor. Everyone has a tale to share but their bond speaks louder. I am sure Ruchi has a plan for the other two as well else I will be heartbroken 😔.
I would not have given this book any stars but then Vijay stood up for his love, fought for her, left his wealth and job for her. He deserves the acknowledgment for that. In the beginning, his behaviour was very like toxic masculinity. He assaulted her and he was angry a lot. OM drama remained in the book for 50-60%. And I really don’t think Trisha loved him when she confessed it. She was fresh out of breakup and everybody kept advising her to give Vijay a chance so she did. That’s all. The plot twists and drama was okay. It all felt like an Indian Tv show. I hate Ana. Hate her. Also I hate how Trisha felt for her father because he was a murderer and he got what he deserves.
OK so staking in real life is not good .The story was OK...The CHARACTERS were beautiful narrated what I did not like was Trisha sometimes behaved like a uneducated lady ..instead of finding her way out.
Stalking My Love" captivating love story that beautifully portrayed Viraj and his unconditional love for Trisha was heartwarming, and the moments between them were truly special. The suspenseful ending left me eager for the sequel, "Ishq Wala Love 2."
Story line is very good and interesting. Characters are well-developed. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Eager to read the upcoming book ' Dodging your Love '
Stalking my Love is the first book in the Ishq Wala Love Trilogy by Ruchi Chandra Verma
This novel focuses on Trisha and Viraj who belongs from two different worlds. While Trisha had to abandon her studies and work multiple jobs to support her sister and alcoholic father, Viraj is the CEO of Rajvansh empire.
Since the first time Viraj saw Trisha, it was love at first sight. He started stalking her and luck was on his side when Trisha applied for a job in his company. Despite being poles apart, they share a sizzling chemistry and are perfect for each other.
Viraj, the CEO of Rajvansh Group of Industries, really loves his younger brother. Once, while trying to help his brother, he sees someone who steals his heart. Trisha is working multiple jobs for her family and is also learning fashion design. Everything takes a turn when she gets a job in Rajvansh Group of Industries.
I loved both of them deeply, though Viraj held a slightly special place in my heart. They both had been through so much and just needed someone to prioritize them. I was here for all of it, all the stalking. Viraj is the BEST. The way he treats her, even when they were not together, was so good. The revenge against her ex was brilliant. I also appreciated the dynamic with his friends and her sisters.
The ending has me on edge, and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
