The Core - the new series of short, erotic stories by Nola Sarina & Emily Faith - is secretly more than a rave-style nightclub. Everyone's there to connect... In every way they want.
But you can't get in without an invite.
Recently-single, coffee-slinging good girl Andee has never been bold enough to party. She's certainly never been to a place like The Core before. With music pounding, go-go dancers grinding, and vodka shooting, Andee lets Alice, The Core's charismatic matchmaker, introduce her to some new friends. She's never been much for one-night-stands, but Alice's friends - and The Core's irresistible, sensual atmosphere - light Andee's hidden passions on fire.
Shaun, a motorcycle stunt performer with the most panty-drenching moves on the dance floor, leads Andee to the glowing, black-lit corner beneath the DJ booth. He sweeps her away with his rhythm and kisses, and under the scorching hot glares of all the other dancing patrons in the heart of The Core, they do far more than dance.

Wow. Holy…moly..HOTNESS! First off, let me preface this by saying you MUST read all 5 installments, MUST. The Core is something you have to experience in it’s entirety. Secondly, you must read this late at night, after enjoying a night cap. Make sure your mind is free, your body is warm and you have room to move. You know what I’m saying. The beauty of The Core is that each installment only takes about 15-20 mins to read and yet you are transported to a world of vibrating music, flashing lights, sweaty writhing bodies; everything so hot and freeing you can’t help but be turned on. I loved every minute of it. I loved each act. Its hard to choose between them all to say which one was the best, but I’m thinking…Derek…yes Derek. WOW again. This story of one amazing night is so rich with desire, dripping with lust you can’t help but be transported to it’s own little oblivion. This isn’t just a random story to get your jollies. This is an experience. A great one, no a fantastic one! I highly recommend you taking a walk to the wild side and joining Andee and Alice at The Core.
Andee – normal, simple, rule following girl that wants to change it up. Not to be the “good girl” she’s always been. Working at a coffee shop to pay for her college education to be a dentist, she wants to be noticed; today she longs to be noticed. She dons her electric blue mascara for work, a small rule broken but it brings Alice into her life. Inviting her to a local rave, Alice introduces Andee to a world of sexual awakening.
The Core – Ignite Ignite, the first book in The Core series is sexy, steamy and completely consuming. Bringing Andee out of her good girl shell, she experiences The Core, as only friends of Alice can. Nola Sarina and Emily Faith have put a different spin on the erotica genre. Taking the “fantasy club” to a place where I haven’t seen it. One girl, one club, lots of possibility.
5 flaming hot stars, this is a great read to add to your erotica collection.
I was in the mood for a sexy quick read and this served its purpose.
Andee, who has been stuck in her normal and boring world, gets an opportunity at an amazing night out. And all because a stranger named Alice loved her blue mascara. Definitely made me want to go buy some!
This novella captures Andee's first hookup of the night at The Core. Shuan, a motor cycle stuntman and a sex/dance god according to Alice, definitely knows how to make an impression on the dance floor and slightly off of it. He knows how to work her over and how to leave her with a smile...without any strings.
The book was over before it began. It all happens in one day/night. Got this book because all the reviews were 5 stars. A coffee shop barista puts blue mascara on and all of a sudden she is invited to a Rave. She makes out with the girl that invited her to the Rave and few minutes later she has sex on the dance floor with a guy that she meets thru the other girl. I think it would have been better if it was longer.
"That blue mascara was the best fucking thing I've ever brought"
That right there is the start and the end of this story. It all starts with Andee buying some blue mascara because she is bored with her life. The enter Alice who take her to a rave party where everyone is there for themselves and to find someone else with a common interest. It was pretty to easy to guess where it was going to go from there.
Just not for me. Don't know if I'll read the rest or not.
I wonder what it would be like to have a place like this near home....I'm pretty sure we don't and even if we did I'm married. Haha. To be free and do whatever makes your body feel good! Yes, please!
Very quick read. Good for something to do on break but it could have been built up or explained a bit more. Situation that started with Alice on the dance floor was a missed opportunity at another sexy confrontation.
While I loved this book it ended too quickly. I kind of feel like the book was rushed and that I was just getting to know the characters when it ended. I will definitely be buying more of this series because it was a hot book.
I feel like "I" just went to The Core! What a fast, fun "romp"-- I can't wait to go again. The writing was so descriptive I forgot that I was even reading. My last comment on The Core: "Yeah, Baby!"
an interesting story about a lonely and horny for action woman. I could relate to her but I'm at a lost with the party scene she's going to get involved with.
