Not meaty enough, the writing isn't focused, and I've gleaned better information from other books. If you don't know anything about stories and how they are structured, this would probably be a good start, but don't stop here.

Essentially, give storytelling a go, use descriptive words (things you can sense), always have a conflict to resolve, be consistent with your characters.

The story telling techniques covered will be for young children, but won't be real enough for a teenager to appreciate. T
