I liked the mystery of who killed Lyle even though it was easy to figure out. There is talk about magic but you don't see it used much. I just would have like to see her actually free the dragons.
A short, fun paranormal cozy mystery. There's a murder in Fable Wood, and it's resolved pretty quickly. I loved the twist with the dragons. I wish it was a little longer with more character and plot development, but it was fine as a fun afternoon read.
Clean story, violence is minimal (I mean, there's a murder, but no gore), no swearing, no sex. Recommended to readers 12+. 4 stars.
I enjoyed this book, so the reading went far too quickly. The characters grow on the reader quickly, the plot is easily followed, and the premise is finding out who killed Lyle and why. The answers and revelations were many and sometimes tragic. I definitely recommend this book.
