Later another call carried the determined missionary kid through medical school. Autobiography. Author was a missionary kid in South Vietnam. After becoming a doctor in the US he and his wife and children went to Gabon and established a hospital and training program. Great stories that show God's work.

A read aloud to my kids. This was a remarkable story of a doctor serving at the Bongolo Missionary Hospital in Gabon, West Africa. Not all stories have happy endings, but that opened up a lot of good conversations and opportunities for the kids to ask questions about God's plans. Recommended.
