লেখক তাঁর ছোটবেলার স্কুলজীবনের স্মৃতিচারণ করেছেন বইয়ে। খুবই স্বল্প পরিসরে ছোট ছোট ঘটনা বর্ণনা করেছেন। বর্ণনাগুলো অনেকটা বিবরণমূলক ধাঁচের। গল্পের বইয়ের আমেজে কিছুটা ঘাটতি ছিল।
