My boys enjoyed this little book. Made them think of what it would be like to have their own tree house and whether they'd ever summon the courage to spend a night in it. The illustrations were lovely as well

This book was a short but fun read. It focuses on Duncan, a boy who was lucky enough to have a tree house built for him for his birthday. He however gets a little too confident and comfortable in the tree house and seems to become distant from his family as a result. He seems to enjoy the solitude and enjoy his own company until one day, he gets a fright and has a quick and thrilling adventure.

This book is recommended for children aged 3-7. I read it to a child in year one recently and she thoroughly enjoyed finding out what was going to happen to Duncan through the suspense and excitement! The illustrations are cartoon in style and colourful to add some brightness to the story.
