This is a book that changed the way I think. One of those books that you read and you want to go tell everybody about it. At least those who you think would understand and appreciate it. So refreshing!

Oh, you know, one of those San Francisco Bay Area books pondering the nature of reality.

A pretty good and a humorous one, especially recommended for bathroom reading.

Only weakness is that the anthropology is way out of date. But still a charming book of mind-blowing ideas well worth exploring in your most privy moments.

This is the third book of Nisker's that I've read. Like the other two, I found it surprisingly good, better than I had expected. In this case, I thought it would largely be a rehash of his other works, but I still found it fresh and enlightening. And his style is always lively with a good dose of humor.

Scoop Nisker is hilarious, so much so it tends to obscure the truly wise aspects of his journey through Buddhism.
