Loved the book from start to finish not my normal read but love every other book by Chrissy so I had to read. The growth of the characters had me in invested in the book. My favorite character is Eira, her sacrifice at such a young age left you wanting more of this character. I do not want to give away a lot but she has a great power that is the most interesting to me. It’s a must read!!!
This is a thoroughly interesting alternate look on the Snow White tale. I enjoyed the journey, the characters and the magic. I will read more of these tales. Thank you, Chrissy for penning a delightful story with true love and adventure, and it is sweet- hearted and keeps the love narrative clean and sweet so even pre-teens can enjoy the tale.
Ok not a *bad* book but I found the writing simplistic and too much “telling not showing”. The plot is an interesting twist on Snow White, so definitely points for originality and creativity. I’m not gonna rush the read others in the series, but I’ll definitely keep them as options for quick escape reads!
Great first fantasy novel Chrissy! I enjoyed how you led us on a familiar but completely different trail than the fairy tales we know. I am looking forward to book two.
Ahhh I loved this! It’s definitely YA, so no spice, but there is romance, longing, dragons, and evil queens. It was honestly just a perfectly adorable and fun Snow White retelling!
