Great read for the believer

Upon reading this or before or during, I'm not sure, I stumbled across the passing of David pawson this year. 2020 has been ruff. But reading this book, it could've been worse. And the crazy thing we all deserve it. I thank God for His grace and mercy. Keep running this Christian race

Outstanding teaching from the Word of God. The biblical insights in this book put what is happening in our world today in perspective.

Pawson says, that bible can be used to justify anything by cherrypicking things from it. This book is a good example of it. Pawson cherrypicks like there is no tomorrow.

I have to say, that my consciousness and my God lives in a totally different dimension from Pawson’s god. His god seems to be a petty little man who threatens people and forces people to serve him out of fear.

And I just didn’t understand his idea, that God is SO good, that he hates evil and evildoers and wants to destroy them. Even genocide is just fine. We just don’t get the goodness of God when he is murdering people.
