FLEEING ONE WAR ZONE JUST TO RUN INTO THE NEXT, CHINA ON ONE SIDE & RUSSIA ON THE OTHER

What a terrifying escape from NY, Ayden, and Clara pair up with other survivers just trying to make to safety and their families. Every corner, town, and state brings new challenges. Low on food, water, weapons, and ammo, and injured from all the conflict, they team up with like mind individuals just as well trying to stay alive while staying one step ahead of the Chinese who have invaded the east coast.
In Wyoming, Mia (Ayden's girlfriend) her family, friends, and community face the Russians invaders trying to advance their way from the west coast to meet up with the Chinese and declare victorious in breaking the U.S. and enslaving the population and stealing the resources.

This continues good series. The Wyoming scene was a bit lackluster with most of the action dedicated to preparing for evacuation. The action with Ayden, Laney and Clara was more substantial. The encounter with Elsa’s family was oddly cordial considering the farm group shot two of Ayden’s group, killing one.

Full of suspense.
In book 3 of the Conquer the Dark series Ayden and Clara are still trying to travel to Wyoming. They meet many people and have to hide from the fighting throughout the book. The story moves really quickly and is very suspenseful.

Library book sale bundle- book 3- strength in cooperation, invasion by China/Russia (which suddenly feels a little too close to home given the current political climate). Writing continues to be meh, but can be read in two evenings.

This was one of the worst I have read of this genre, the first was OK, the second was more of the same, and the third book I only read the first 2 dozen pages. Not worth my time.

Did i miss something? Wasn't Mia going to go back for Reid on the previous book? Did he die? He's not even mentioned in this book. Weird.
