This book covers the timeframe from the moment your partner becomes pregnant through to your child being 1-2. During the pregnancy phase it has some interesting details around how the baby is developing, which you can then rattle off to anyone around you who's interested to make it sound like you know what's happening. There are plenty of nuggets of information buried amongst the pages but the biggest problem I had with this book is that it all seemed rather obvious. I haven't come away from it any wiser about how I'm going to cope when the baby arrives.

I also found the text messages/tweets in every section blizzare, which leaves me to conclude #buyadifferentbook

This book has some great things to stop and think about before your child comes in to the world. Maybe some good sense to help your relationship with little one. It is well written and is relevant for most guys starting out being a Dad.
