This was an ok introduction to Buddhism. Aided more in my understanding of the difference between various branches than it did my understanding of buddhist principles in general.
I would recommend looking elsewhere for something like that.

Basic overview of Buddhism, but it did explain the differences between the different practices such as Zen and Tibetan.

Good to have on your bookshelf as a reference guide if you are interested in practicing or learning more about Buddhism.
