This book was a creative take on a non-fiction picture book that's purpose is to inform children ages pre-K to 5 or so about hydration. The book goes through the uses and benefits water has on the body. This book has themes of health and responsibility. I give this book 3 stars because of its lack of story line, but it was pretty effective at educating young children about the topic of water.
Drinking Water is a picture book and a concept book, and tells readers everything they need to know the benefits of drinking water. It introduces them to the idea of hydration and good health. This would be a good book to read aloud, and talk about during or after reading. I think this book would be best for lower elementary grades. I classified this book as non-fiction.
This book is a non-fiction story involving water. It talks about why it is important to drink lots of water and staying healthy with it. It is an easy read that is most recommended for those grades k-4. I gave it this rating because, while interesting and important to know, it wasn't engaging enough for me. And I can't necessarily see it being captivating to all other children.

This book teaches children the importance of drinking water. The one change I would make in this water is I would put how much water a child should drink everyday.
