Helped me to understand so much more about my Grandfather's part in WW1 with this in depth analysis of the German offensive in the Spring of 1918. This covers the battles and the time in the Great War where he was badly injured but survived unlike so many of the young men sent to war. The book has a great deal of detail and lots of information about a period of the war which has often been overlooked when the British forces were in retreat and victory seemed a long way off.
