Nur Edlynn, a plus-sized girl, has always been in love with her half-Malay, half-British best friend, Tengku Aqeel Zayyan, ever since she was eight. When she was 16 years old, she was confident that Aqeel had feelings for her too. She decided to write a love letter, confessing her feelings to Aqeel before he moved to London.
However, he decided to cut her off right after Edlynn sent the letter. Edlynn was dejected and disappointed. She was deeply tormented by Aqeel’s ghosting. After five years without contact, Aqeel returns, claiming to rekindle their friendship.
“Listen, about the love letter, let’s just forget about it. It was in the past. Let’s start fresh, shall we? Don’t let that love letter ruin our friendship. I’m sorry it took me five years to talk to you about this.” – Aqeel
Things get complicated when Edlynn’s best friend, Aleesha, falls for Aqeel too.
“Let’s make a promise that none of us will pursue Aqeel.” – Aleesha
“Even if he likes one of us?” – Ed
“If it can ruin our friendship, neither of us should pursue him.” – Aleesha
That’s not all to Edlynn’s story. When it comes to love, friendship, and family, one can never be definite with the ending.
‼️ DISCLAIMER ‼️ This is only my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt.
The ONLY good things that came out of this PHYSICAL purchase include: ✅ flexible spine and pages ✅ easy-on-the-eyes font ✅ BEAUTIFUL book cover and matching bookmark ✅ Aqeel as a character
Other than that, I regret to inform you that this book is not worth the RM31 I paid for it. It should be at most RM15 and that's me being generous with it.
The only reason I'm even CONSIDERING 2 stars instead of 1 is that it's locally authored and locally published.
Here are the red flags before you waste your money on this: 🚩 Grammar, punctuation, directly translated Malay-to-English phrases that make almost no sense - what infuriates me more on this is that the author is SUPPOSEDLY an English Major??? 🚩 No character development whatsoever - MC is a gullible, naïve pushover who takes the "Miscommunication" trope to levels that make you want to barf, her "best friends" are complete two-faced bitches, any parental figures were as interesting as cardboard and any antagonists are just sad clowns with no proper writing. 🚩 The book SUPPOSEDLY wanted to promote "love for the plus-sized", but all I got from it was "How to be a Toxic Bitch". 🚩 On top of the horrid English mastery, the story itself was written like one of those overly dramatic, overly "sad" Malay dramas that are KNOWN for being absolute shit.
I really had high expectations for this book. As a Malay plus-sized Malaysian girlie myself, I really hoped this book would give me SOME form of hope - whether it be about promoting self-love or inspiring me to write romance for Manés - but all I got was disappointment.
If the author ever sees this review of mine, Please do better. By Allah, I beg of you to try harder.
This one took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Albeit, I was not surprised by what had unfolded (my instincts were right haha), but it was a read that did me giggle and smiled whilst reading it.
The thing about being plus size, you WILL have the tendency to actually talk yourself down multiple times. And I do always have a soft spot for romance with plus size characters - especially if its female - as it gives the kind of hope and representation that no matter what your size is, you do have a chance in love. That's what I loved about this book.
Edlynn's train of thought can be a tad annoying - especially when she keeps bringing herself down. But in some ways, I was not even mad at her because she is a reflection of a lot of girls who have trouble accepting how their body shape is, especially when you are always belittled and mocked for your body size, it does takes a toll on your self-worth, and that was really well-portrayed in the story. The way her character grows and develops towards the end, especially into finally standing up for herself makes me want to hug her.
And the romance plot? YALL I WAS MAD MAD. Mad because WTF, I am really not a fan of miscommunications (like please SIT DOWN AND TALK FOR GOD'S SAKES) and MAD because THE AMOUNT OF TIMES THE PHONE KEPT INTERRUPTING AQEEL AND EDLYYN. (haha). On a serious note, Aqeel is literally a walking green flag :') He reminds me a lot of Colin and Sunjae (yes, I'm currently obsessed with Bridgerton and Lovely Runner), and ISTG this man wears his heart on his sleeve. And good lord there was this one part that made me squealed and i was in public :') Huge fan of that scene (dont wanna spoil it so read it!!)
The one thing that did bother me a bit was some technicalities - mainly on the writing style (the dialogues were a bit off) , and I do feel that some of the plot wants to include like everything in there. Some scenes felt repetitive and unnecessary, and there were some parts I was like... (huh??). Was not totally bothered by it, but I felt like you can only choose one/two conflicts rather than putting everything in.
But overall, this book did made me smile at the end. I was definitely hooked. Its more than just a romcom. Its the perfect blend of what some lemons can throw at life, of a lost, hope and longing. But most importantly is about love, in all its forms, especially in defending your worth, honour and self. Pick this book up! I teared up a bit towards the end. (Aqeel, YOU ARE IT AGH).
Thank you to Manes for this copy! I appreciate it a lot.
I love it so much when a book gives me everything I want in them. I can say most of the tropes is in here😮💨The author delivered it successfully without a miss! The tropes that I love the most in here is childhood friends to lovers, both fell first and harder & plus size character💘! I can’t stop blushing & giggle when it comes to the sweet scenes. I may get diabetes from reading it😂Frankly, there was some cringe sweet talk moments but I can’t stop giggle and smile alone hahahaa🤣!
Oh my the plot twist was everything in this book. It happened not once but more than that🥹! It makes me keep wanting to read it pages after pages. I’m addicted to it. Edlynn is the most sweetest & cutest🥹She have a very pure heart that she would do anything & rather sacrifice for the ones she love. As for Aqeel, he’s the definition of a green flag! Wow, everything he did was top notch that I even blushed everytime he starts to talk😍! I can’t imagine how attractive he’ll be if he’s in real life🤭.
I love that this book is related to young adult life, where in this age range, you’re enjoying your life spending time with your friends & even gain precious experience with them. I love Ed’s friendship with her bestfriends, I can see that their friendship is sincere. It felt close to my heart since this book reminds me a lot of my college days💓I miss the vibes!
Overall, I have nothing to complain, the author really did a great job. In the sense of comprehension, I believe it suites beginners since there are no complicated words to understand the storyline <3! Don’t forget to get your copies at PBAKL starting this 24th May 2024 till 2nd June 2024✨
Thank you so much @maneswordworks for this precious sweetest book!
What the actual fuck did i just read ? Dnf at chapter 6, i can’t do it anymore. Everything is just so cringe ? The english here seems very off, very direct translation. The friendship between liza, aleesha and edlynn also very off and shady ? I hate when liza keep on being “mean” and its because she have an abusive family yada yada. Aleesha also seemes off, kinda giving her backhanded compliments and stuff. Actually both of them did give her backhanded compliments. If i were her, i wouldn’t hesitate to cut off the friendship no matter how long they have been friends etc. toxic. As a girl’s girl, this is very hard to read.
Another thing is that, I can’t go on when she keep on melting and hallucinating and smiling like an idiot whenever she thought of aqeel. Like ? Stop. Also, her and aiman story ended on prologue (that one is very embarrassing) but she keep on mentioning aiman here, aiman there throughout the entire 6 chapters i read. Enough is enough.
I really wanted to like this book and rate it higher. Obviously the plot is good, a school romance with a plus sized girl with an unrequited love. But It feels like I'm stuck between push and forth between the main character. The same conflict goes on and on. I don't know if it just me but the translation from malay to english seems a little bit weird and I think it would be better to read this in malay. And one last thing, I'm quite disappointed during the confession part, I was hoping it would be a little bit grand since that is the most awaited part. But overall, I do love the Aqeel character and I will keep supporting the author if she decided to release more books in the future.
First of all, I have high expectations for this book. But then, it's not as good as I expected, in my opinion. I have a lot to say about this book, including the characters, the plot of the story, and the unnecessary scenes.
Disclaimer: This is my own opinion; do correct me if I'm wrong or misread the characters.
Let's start with the female main character (FMC), Edlynn. I like that she's a plus-sized girl in this book, as the author has stated. But then, things don't make sense when she has been in love with Aqeel ever since she was 8 years old? Really? At that young age, did you fall in love that fast? I can accept if it's a "cinta monyet" though. I hate how she is always seeking male validation to boost her confidence. Girl, you should know your self-worth, a worth that you don't have to seek a male's attention to be confident. Long story short, I don't like Edlynn's character.
Talking about her other two friends which is Aleesha and Liza, they're sucks. No offence, but if I were Edlynn, I would not hesitate to cut them both off for the sake of my happiness. I have nothing to say about them both since you guys know their attitude in this book. Their trio friendship is so TOXIC that it hurts my brain. I'm sorry, but I hate them so much.
About the male main character (MMC), who is Aqeel, well, I have nothing much to say about him. He's indeed a sweet talker, romantic, and a gentleman, sure. But like everyone said, he likes to daydream just like Edlynn. I barely find any cute scenes in this book, and it's hard for me to tabs my book down.
It would be better if it's a dual point of view (POV) from Edlynn and Aqeel. I want to know what is going on inside Aqeel's mind so badly. It's frustrating and draining to read ONLY Edlynn's POV. I hope the author can take inspiration from the international authors about doing a dual or multiple POVs.
Did not finish (DNF) at chapter 20 and above because it's too much and very cringeworthy. I swear I can't take it anymore, and it's so unnecessary for the black magic scenes. Especially the way Hazrul came out of nowhere?! I can't continue this book since it's so frustrating. The ending is so rushed, like, what do you mean suddenly epilogue, and they got married? How the hell did Aleesha just come back to apologise and act like nothing had happened?! Man, it makes me ick. Overall, I'm happy that Edlynn and Aqeel finally got married.
Last but not least, I have never read this kind of book in my entire life, to be honest. This book is not suitable for me as an adult. Maybe it's suitable for teenagers since it can feed their delusions. It's suitable for beginners to start an English book as well. No hate to the author, but I hope she can improve her writing skills because it's like directly translated from Malay. It's giving Wattpad vibes kind of style. That's all from me, thank you.
Edlynn, a plus-sized girl has always been in love with her best friend, Aqeel since she was eight. When she was 16, she decided to write a love letter, confessing her feeling to Aqeel. However, Aqeel decided to cut her off right after Edlynn sent the letter. Edlynn was deeply tormented by Aqeel's ghosting.
After 5 years without contact, Aqeel returns, claiming to rekindle their friendship. Will they be a best friend again?
Guys, if you want to read something light, cute & fluffy with a 'Friend-to-lovers" trope, I totally recommended this book! It's also suitable for beginners who want to start reading eng book, since the narrative are easy to understand.
What I like about this book is the misperception that a plus-sized girl can also be happy with their love one. In this book, I found out that Edlynn always insecure about herself, because no matter how hard she tried to do something, people will always judge her appearance.
But no matter what, Aqeel always comfort her, telling her that she's beautiful inside out. He's a definition of a GREEN FLAG MANN!! He always remember every little things about Edlynn, accompanying her, support her and his love languange is-words of affirmation! I almost got a diabetes when reading this book because his words are too sweet that I keep giggling and punching the air. 🙈😆
However, as I read through every chapter, I just feels that some of the dialogues was cringe, and there's also some repetitive scenes that I think it was unnecessary.
This book also highlighted about friendship between Edlynn, Aleesha, and Liza. Despite a lot of things happened, I'm glad they're able to encounter it again. Edlynn is the sweetest and kind person. She always helps her friends whenever they need.🥺
Lastly, I want to say that I really like the lyrics of 'Lyrics and You" song. Just by looking at the lyrics, I can feel the warm and the cozy vibes in it. I can feel that Aqeel wrote the lyrics with his heart and his sincere feeling towards Edlynn.🥺 It must be good if I can hear the actual song. 🤧
Not a fan of one sided perspective in novel but stayed because of the plot. Quite predictable and cringe imo. Choice of words were quite bad as there were many repetitive sentences. I started to feel hype at chapter 10, which is quite long...
I think the author gets the idea of the plot but not at how to fill in the process to get the ending that she wants. I was hoping for a whole chapter that introduce each character but there were none and until the end, there were no character development from any of them, though slightly.
I'm not criticizing to give bad image but I hope you can take it to improve more in the future :)
I have a huge expectation on this book as it is from Manes, sayangnya all I get is disappointment.
I’m not really good with English tapi the usage of English in this novel terlalu simple sampai jadi membosankan, repetitive pun iya juga. Although target audience ialah (mungkin) beginner, penggunaan ayat boleh divariasikan lagi supaya sesuai dengan semua masyarakat umur. Kadang rasa macam direct translation dari Melayu ke Inggeris pun sama.
Berkenaan plot :) It could be better, I would love kalau Ed tak meletakkan self worth by how lelaki pandang dia. Get a grip girl, hidup bukan berpaksikan pandangan lelaki. And what’s wrong with her friends anyway? So shady.
This novel follows Nur Edlynn, a plus size girl who has always been in love with her best friend, Tengku Aqeel since she was eight. at 16 y/o, she decided to give Aqeel a love letter but after she sent it, Aqeel ghosted her. After 5 years, Aqeel returns and want to rekindle their friendships.
First of all, i was so sure of the plot but WHAT WITH THE TWISTING 💀 i was so shocked! totally didnt expect. there are times i cringed so hard, but i had so much fun reading it. some of the characters are asking to strangle them FR. so toxic, so not demour!!
i feel Ed so muchhh, the insecurity, the low self-esteem. when you're big, people tend to look at your size. sometimes, you see people laughing, you're only thoughts would be "gosh, they're laughing at me" when really, they're not. Ed also a very much people-pleaser. having to make sure you didnt hurt anyone is hard.
aside from her, let's talk about Tengku Aqeel. bro, this man!!! he's soo attentive and cute and so gentleman! he remembers everything about Edlynn even after 5 years away from her. i love how he protects and always be there for Ed. and the eye contact!!! THE EYE CONTACT 🧎🏻♀️🧎🏻♀️ i would MELT right then and there!! he can't keep his eyes away from Ed brooo.
there are some things does bother me though. there's a lot of repetitive scenes & hanging... like, why would he say that if he isnt going to do anything.. but overall, it was still a fun reading for me.
This is easy 5 stars for me. What is green flag? when you have the whole forest OMG! I was giggling too much. I love Aqeel but I'm little annoyed with Ed for being too forgiving, she's collecting fake friends like pokemon 😂 it's not her fault but after everything that she went through it would be better if she walked away from toxic friendship. I would love to read more from NurulJannah 💗 I devour this book 📖 ❤️🔥
The story is about Edlynn who lost touch with her first crush, Aqeel who went abroad and recently reached out to her after no contact for 5 years. Will she get over her crush on him, especially when she wrote a love letter and passed it to him before he went abroad and then cut her off?
This is a light and cute read. I love Edlynn and Aqeel’s interactions and banter. I understand Edlynn’s insecurities growing up as a plus sized girlie and could see how she would miss how much Aqeel cares for her! I cannot tolerate both her friends though and struggle how they are so supportive of her and yet would do a 180 and do something to hurt her.
I swear this book is all about assumptions, miscommunications and interruptions which drives me crazy at times and probably why it took me much longer to finish reading it.
Overall, Lyrics and You is a sweet fluffy rom-com about friends to lovers who support each other through their artsy craft of music and comics!
Read if you like: Friends to lovers Second chance Unrequited love/mutual pining Love letters Love triangle
The reason why I chose this book was because of the main character which is ‘plus-size’ woman. But the male character? Meh. Besides being a handsome young mat salleh looking man (which I think is quite exaggerated in the book) talented in singing and THAT’S IT??!! I honestly expect more. Like I don’t even know the character well as it is not well elaborated in the story. I didn’t fell in love with any of the characters. The ending? Too rushing. The author could’ve told us more about the Aleesya-Edlynn story. By saying sorry and everything suddenly is FINE and everything goes back to normal??!! Friendship restores just like that??? Hazrul??? What the heck happen to him? Andddd as a plus size woman myself, it feels kinda annoying when it was repeated OVER AND OVER AGAIN that ‘how come a man like that wanna be with a woman like me’ like helloo??!! Have a little self confidence please I’m trying to like you here okay??!
As a conclusion, this book is suitable for geli-geli only. It’s so light that u can read this anywhere without missing any plot.
Bought this book (though I rarely buy romance English book) because it is getting hyped by many.
Tapi kenapa kisah macam budak-budak 😭 Sorry not sorry. Baru umur 21 tahun tapi dah bercinta takde batas, diploma pun tak habis lagi. Pastu kahwin. Ada juga la heart fluttering scenes tu sampai masuk mimpi, tapi kebanyakannya agak cringy especially nak dekat hujung. Is this book not suitable for me, a 26 year old girl?
Dan banyak lewah juga dalam penulisan. Kena ingat, kalau nak huraikan sesuatu perkara dengan mendalam, tak payah guna ayat sama pun tapi cari perkataan yang tepat.
Contoh:
Dalam m/s 241:
“I wipe my tears with my fingers as I continue to read it (the letter).”
Dalam m/s 243:
“I wipe away my tears with my hand as I read.”
Selang satu muka surat je tapi ayat sama 😭
Dan ada ketika rasa macam ayat tu direct translation from Malay, so pembacaan agak terganggu.
sejujurnya, sy tk pernah bgi ratings kat app ni and I LURVE THIS BOOK SO MACH, tak boleh nak move onn,. TAK NYESAL BELII AND THE PLOT TWIST?? YSUEGRHEHE. asyik tersengih - sengih je bce buku ni! I need a man who loves me like tengku aqeel! greenflag ilersssd dulu lahir kat hutan ke? and don't worry, english dia sangat mudah untuk dipahami macam saya yg tk berapa nak pro eng nii. taknak cakap banyak ii, korg baca lah sendiri 😼
it wouldve been better if written in third person perspective or dual povs.
anyways, none of the characters are likable. everything could've been solved if they just sat down and talked. it was repetitive and frustrating. then it gets cringy
So cringe. It is just a story about a bunch of budak gatal. I can’t comprehend how a 7/8 years old kid can easily fall in love. And married at 21? The reality doesn’t work this way.
Not a suitable read for adult. If you’re still a teenagers, you can read this novel to feed your delulu.
This book was so cute and super fast read too. I liked the cover book 💛 the english very simple and easy to understand.
Loved their banter and how Aqeel always be with Ed. When I started to read it, I was wondering why Aqeel ghosted Ed. And I thought Aleesa was the mastermind. Its turned out other people and I didnt expect this coming.
As I go through the story, I kept cursing especially to Ed's bestfriend Liza and Aleesa. Believe me, Aleesa was a superduper annoying friend. She thinks about herself only. Yes its true she's a spoilt brat coming from wealthy family. When you read till the end, you will be surprise too about Ed's family.
When Aqeel choose Ed over Aleesa, Aleesa cant accept it and accused Ed for betrayed her. Ed, being a nice person... she always thinks about their feelings and friendships. Even Liza called her fat and confront about the love letter, Ed forgive her. She has a "clean" heart.
One things I dont like when Aqeel's father accused Ed spell black magic to his son. Aqeel's father is a Tan Sri... oh boy. Certificate doesnt make you smarter 😁
stop can't blushing while reading this ysjdheud is cuteeeee 😣 .. OH AQEEL THAT MAN YOU ARE ..
to be frank , there's a few things that not satisfies me as a reader : - i need to know how edlynn and aleesha rekindle their friendship bcs the ending is a bit rushing .. maybe if the writer include the solution it would be nice 🤝🏻 - what happens to hazrul after the confession 🫠 my curiousity 📈 - it kinda give me an ick bcs why all of a sudden all men smitten on edlynn? .. sorry but this macam wattpad vibes when all the men have an interest on fl
Never had I rated a book this low🙃I picked it up because it’s all over my feed tho knowing it’s a young adult, I tried to look beyond that but alas
First there’s too much cringe. I’m an avid romance reader and the amount of cringe in this book is Wattpad level imo(gonna overlook it cuz im old for cringe)
There’s several parts with no continuation or consistency, but the ending was the worse. The author decided to put everything under the sun of malay drama world and it was messy. Like pick and issue and go with it, ni kejap bomoh la member merajuk la(tiber bestie balik no nothing in between) hidden card anak org kaya la🙃
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Purchased this book without reading or watched any reviews about it. The book cover is so pretty hence why i decided to buy it in the first place. And this book is written by a local author and locally published as well. I have never read a local English book which is why i'm excited about it.
Personally, the book is quite meh and underwhelming which is so frustrating because my expectations were quite high. I genuinely thought that this book is going to bring me back to read romance book again but i was wrong. Maybe i was not the target audience as i think this is a yound adult romance.
I wouldn't say my English is extremely good in terms of grammar etc but, while i was reading this book, it felt like a direct translation from Malay to English. Some of the sentences makes me cringe and some just makes no sense whatsoever.
Every single character annoyed me to death especially Edlynn and her two supposedly "BFF". As a plus sized girl myself, I fully understand Edlynn insecurities but, till the end her character just felt flat and no character development. Edlynn is a sweet girl though and the fact that she always want to sacrifice herself can be a good or a bad thing.
I get the general idea and the plot of the story but, the shaman part was tactless imo. I understand that is part of the drama or conflict in the book but it is so unnecessary. It should have focused more on the trio friendship and how they are going to resolve their conflict with e/o.
The conflict with Aqeel's father is very much giving typical drama Melayu. The story pacing is okay however, the ending is kind of rush which probably i didn't see any character development for most of the characters.
Overall, i would recommend this book if you want to start reading English book as beginners would enjoy this.
Almost bought this book using MySiswa vouchers (gladly i didn’t and borrowed my friend’s instead)
At the beginning, the storyline is quite okay. I really eager for Edelyn and Aqeel reunion and so on. But then… - the story have too many unnecessary plots (and quite ridiculous) - no character development on both main characters like the only things you guys did is went out for a dating all the time?! And they’re kinda immature and too much daydreaming😭😭 - the english is quite off and kinda direct translation ‘ish’
Maybe this is not my cup of tea but not sure if i should promote it to others or not…
🦋 Edlynn and Aqeel have been best friends since primary school and they’ve been inseparable since. However, when they were 16, Aqeel had to move to London so Edlynn decided to write him a love letter conveying her true feelings. But, Aqeel ended up ghosting her and she loathed herself because of it. After years passed, they ended up meeting again to rekindle their friendship but things gotten awkward and out of hand.
💭 This story revolves on how Edlynn has to deal with her insecurities and how society often mistreated people who are not born skinny. As someone who used to be considered as a plus size (I recently lost a lot of weight this year *pats myself on the back) and gotten bullied for my looks back in my school days, Edlynn’s characteristics really speaks to me. Her low self esteem and feeling unlovable is basically what I’ve been dealing throughout my entire life. All the hatred that I’ve gotten in the past ensures me that I will never ever be good enough to some people no matter how hard I tried.
Okay now back to the review 🥹 The bond that Edlynn and Aqeel build are so endearing because friends to lovers trope will always win man 😫✊🏻🩷 I love how he always cares about her. Got me giggling and squealing because tolonglah kenapa korang comel sangat?! And the lyrics that Aqeel wrote caught my heart. Tapi their miscommunication tu agak frust jugak lah.
The only problem that I have is there’s just too much repetitive sentences. Thus, some of the actions taken by some of the additional characters here are just illogical to me. But I’ll turn a blind eye to that.
✍🏻 Lesson learned; beauty is subjective and you don’t have to fit certain beauty standards to be accepted by the public eye. Be yourself, and as cliche as it may be, your ideal person will love you exactly as you are.
Do read this book if you want a light read that implies the importance of self love 🫶🏻✨

This Story really give me dejavu, butterflies, secondhand embarrassment, and more 😖😭🥹
First 200 pages. I was giggling while reading this 😭😭. At one point, I cont even continue cus it remind me to my high-school crush. Who I have crush on for 7 years? It remind me what I would do for him. I miss him. And I also a plus saiz girl.
Adlynn... She so me.
But why I give minus 0.6?😌
1. After both main characters confess their feelings to each other. Aqeel call edlynn my love too fast. It soo cringe. 😖😖
2. Too many plot twist. I'm okay with plot twist but it just too fast. I can't even process the first one. And there is another one.
I like this book. ❤️ You can rean in 1 or 2 days.🙂↕️ Easy English 😉 I would recommend to other people. 🫶🏼🫶🏼
While reading it in the beginning, I think the story is a bit draggy. For me, it is too much of Ed's insecurity of her looks and their misunderstanding about the past. The interruption, every time they want to open up and talk about the past, really boiled my blood. 😆
But then when they 💯 realised their feelings towards one another, I felt so relieved. Before the realisation, the author is so good at making me mad at the characters throughout my reading.
From then on, I can loosen up a little bit while reading. Not until the plot twists that make me shocked! I did not expect that at all. The dramas that follow after are just so exciting. It is getting more and more interesting towards the end.
In the end, I just wish that the antagonists in this novel would get more deserving punishment for their bad deeds. It seems like it's not enough considering with what they have done.
Overall, I like the story. So many dramas. Such a rollercoaster story.
