I’ve been reading this thinking of a young person who may benefit from it. I think the application points at the end are excellent for all young men, but some of the examples in the rest of the book might plant ideas in the minds of those who still retain some innocence and so I’m unsure as to whether I will pass this on or no. Maybe in a year or two. You’d hate for a book meant for good and to encourage godliness to plant in the mind sinful and lustful ideas the young man may not have come up with alone

I believe out of all the books written to help young men to overcome sexual temptation and lust, this is one of the best. It does a fantastic job describing how God has designed us and our desire for sex then equips each person to be individually accountable for their own sex life and equips them with tools and very sound advice to overcome sexual addiction or temptation. All the while helping men understand that only through Christ comes freedom. I highly recommend this book for parents, Pastors, youth group leaders and other leaders of young people.
