Werewolf Gideon Walker wanted nothing more than to be left alone. Meeting his match in Peter Miller might have changed all that, if tragedy hadn't kept the young lovers apart for years. When the mates are reunited, will Gideon's past or Peter's long-held secrets doom their love?
M/M, explicit, slash, mates, mating bond, paranormal fantasy romance.
I actually really liked this. The author did a great job pairing a werewolf with a merman. I was pleasantly surprised. I did not have High hopes and only read this for a challenge, but that just goes to show there's always a diamond in the rough. It was a really sweet story and I'd recommend it for a nice Sunday morning.
First of all why is there such a crappy low rating for this book? 1 star , seriously? This was a very engaging interesting story with a good balance of a little angst, romance, smexyness & HEA. When I was done reading the book I had a smile of satisfaction since the end was wrapped up perfectly for the story. I'm going to be honest here, when I first came across this book I was more intrigued by the rarrity of the odd shifter pairing & of course I had to read it if for nothing else to find out how a werewolf & a merman pair together. I'm happy to say I'm very glad I read this book, it deserves better reviews & higher stars.
