"Don't you see? I hate standing out from the crowd. It makes me feel uncomfortable." Jess was seething. "I just think people shouldn't judge you without knowing the facts." "That's life. You'll never change people's attitudes, Jess." "Wanna bet?" Seventeen-year-old Orianna Stewart is a promising sixth-form student at Wimborne Upper School, hoping to study fashion and art a ...more

5 Words: high school drama, insta-love, religion.

From the first chapter I knew I wasn't going to love this book. I also knew it'd take a lot to make me like it. So I read it in the way I'd read a naff fan-fiction. You know the ones, where it's so bad it's good.

Sometimes that works when a book just isn't my cup of tea.

But it didn't this time :(

I think my main problem with this book was the insta-love and the weird old-fashioned way of talking. It just didn't sit right. Sometimes the speech would

This story would have been good if it weren't for a few key things, first of all, the paragraphs were so long, I found myself gasping for breath at times. Was this book professionally edited? It makes you wonder if the author paid to publish this one as they would have picked it apart had she gone to a real publishers. Second, what's with teen books always referring to Twilight? I did enjoy this book a lot, the book dealt with problems of disabilities and a bit on suicide and rape. This book is an easy read and I felt it was a bit predictable but i still enjoyed it. I recommend this book as a light read as a managed to finish it pretty quickly. I will defiantly be looking foreword to any future books from Phillip Vincent-Connolly.

I won this book though a goodreads giveaway and I really enjoy reading this book and it was beautifully written and it's a beautiful YA novel and I recommend this book if u like YA novels. I really liked the story between orianna and Ashley and its a great read. And it's also very moving. And I was really happy to have read it. And I will also definitely read more books from the author Phillipa Vincent-Connolly and it was a easy read but also at the same time it was a lovely read :)

I received this lovely book as a Goodreads giveaway and what a delight! The characters are all beautifully crafted and I was genuinely taken back to my teens, along with all its dreamy moments, angst, interfering friends and complicated relationships with family. Orianna's disability is handled very carefully and the reader is left without a trace of pity for her, just admiration that she manages to emulate Bella Swan and get the school hearthrob
