Miniminiminiminiminiminimoon? I am in! I had so much fun with this adventure to the moon... or maybe not, haha. The starmice were terribly dull but I did love how they looked and how they made a whole culture/life on this moon (plus there is a twist that had me in utter stitches, that one came out of the left field, haha). I loved meeting a new character named Pontiki, she was such a fun one, and I love her astronaut outfit. Also, oohhhh at that little starmouse, will we be seeing them one day?
And the beetles on earth read the AdventureMice adventures??? LOVE THAT! Loved the illustrations, the map of the rocket + the map of the journey + everything else.
Review to come in December/November.

Really fun Adventuremice story that keeps up the quality, fun and wholesome messages of the other books.
Picking your favourite book will simply come down to which setting you like the most because the illustrations and writing is great throughout the series.

I can't recommend these books enough. the combination of interesting and detailed pictures and prose that's pitched just right. It's a fun story with excitement and humour (both for children and adults!). Something about the way all the mice validate and look after each other is such a useful illustration to children (showing not telling) about real friendship and teamwork

Another delightful adventure for kids and the young at heart.

It starts well, with some excitement and adventure, but then they find some sort of space buddist mouse-alien monk community, who are all rather odd and dull and only eat rice cakes. So they all obviously want to get out of there pronto. But that part ends up making the story feel quite flat and weird and in desperate need of an adventure, as the characters also feel.
It's a daft little joke in the end, but not worth the slow dull parts.
