Four circles and a powerful sorcerer. Countless secrets, and two men by her side.

Book no. 2 of the fantastic "Witches World-Folds" saga, an urban fantasy novel with protagonists over 30, suspense, love, loads of chocolate, and magic.
Join Mayla on her next journey as a fire witch and set out for an unimaginable adventure!
Do you think women want to read fantasy books with adult characters? If your answer is “Yes”, you are in the right place.
My name is Jenny Swan and I love to write fairy-tale and fantasy books about women over 30. We all want to find a magical portal to another land, sail with a pirate over the sea, unleash our witch powers, and find the love of our lives. These exciting, heart-pounding fantasy stories feature heroines who are just like you and me — normal women who lead normal lives until something magical happens.
The first series you can dive into is called “Charms & Chocolate.” Mayla, who believes in chocolate but not in magic, discovers that she is a witch and has to escape violent young men who are out to get her. A mysterious stranger helps her, a charming police officer cautions her against him, and a cat just appears in time to help her.
Took me a while to get in this book (2nd in a series) but when I did I really enjoyed it. I've never read a series before and I am looking forward to how the story unfolds.
Charms & Chocolate – Carried by Wind (Witches World-Folds Saga Book 2)
Charms & Chocolate – Carried by Wind (Witches World-Folds Saga Book 2) ~~ This book had me soaring! The tone shifts slightly from the first — it’s a little more playful, but still packed with emotional depth. There’s a real sense of healing and facing the past in this one, and the wind magic felt so symbolic — light, free, and ever-moving. I loved the mix of new beginnings and old wounds, and how beautifully the story unfolded. There’s also a growing sense of mystery in the overall series that keeps you turning pages.
I am officially hooked on this series — book two was everything I hoped it would be and sad about Tom & Mayla ~ is there any hope ???? !!!!
Mayla is on the run with Georg and Tom. After her grandmother was betrayed. Georg gets arrested and they need to travel back to the normal world to figure things out. I loved the book lots of twist and turns can't wait for the next one.
A love triangle has fully formed. I am not reading for this, rather I am enjoying the characters. Clean. This book is in need of an editor- some grammar things are bad but not too many to cause extreme distraction.
Write a review!! Charging ahead to the next book...cause, dang! Ya left me hanging!! Enjoying this romp, a welcome relief from reality. Come to think of it, the current status quo of the US seems more like BAD fiction. Thanks for the fun!
This is a fun continuation of the first book and I intend to read on. The characters are growing on me with each chapter and the world fold concept is great.
Really enjoyed book 2 lots of magic.Great characters and a really enjoyable read . I’m looking forward to book 3 which will link all the stories together.
Magic, Chocolate, Witches and Smiles - What Else Could You Want?
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite series! The author, Jenny Swan, does a masterful job describing the locations, the characters, the events taking place, the challenges, even the magic the characters are using. The story is told in a way that brings you to the moment, where you can feel what the characters are feeling, know why they chose a particular path and wound up wherever they landed. This book starts off right where book 1 (Charms & Chocolate - Awakened by Fire) leaves off with a bonus or two. Highly suggest reading the prologue as it gives a great hint as to where the powerful head witch of the fire coven and grandmother of our main character, Mayla, has been and what is happening with the other forces at play. There is a wonderful cliff-hanger in the prologue also. Mayla is still learning and has been attempting to get used to using Latin (which is just awesome), has figured out how to use her amulet (maybe), can perform some spells such as transforming cloth into a mattress (that was fun - no spoilers) and has possibly found the one person whom may be the catalyst or...we shall see! Such a fun story that can provide a wonderful way to change your focus!
