Being an ex-Navy SEAL turned government assassin, I’m used to getting my own way. I run my club like a military operation & nobody disobeys me–ever.
Someone obviously forgot to tell that to the hot little nanny who sets me on fire with one look from her baby blue eyes. I watched her walk toward me and was blown away. She looked so small, so vulnerable and so damned sexy she caught my attention.
She walks like an Angel in the raging fires of Hell. She is perfect, for Cassie and for me. Now everything has changed, they just don’t know it yet. I no longer need a nanny - I need a wife.
This is a standalone novel with a HEA and NO cheating! This is one wild romance with a happily ever after guaranteed. If you like your books a little dirty that leave you panting, jump right in! If you are easily shocked—you may want to move away now.
I found myself heavily skimming this and what started well swiftly lost track as this sped off like a runaway train. I felt like this was ticking boxes to fulfil and trying to cram as much in as possible so it then ended up then feeling rushed. It’s an MC romance but I’ve never read one quite like it before. Forget lots of delicious darkness these reapers seemed more like biker teddy bears despite what we’re told they do and the occasional shitty action from them.
There were also character inconsistencies, for example, Ashton and her traumatising first experience then within no time at all she getting down and freaky with Ryder with zero issues it just didn’t make sense that she wouldn’t be suffering trauma from her past experience that affected her now. The things she was now getting up to with Ryder it was like it never happened.
Then there’s Ryder and his instant infatuation and his perfect cherub of a daughter it was all just so cookie cutter and OTT. Even the club whores here were just nice girls and part of the whole reaper family the way they described themselves and being treated and then the way the bikers did just felt at odds it didn’t match. I also wasn’t feeling the chemistry here.
This was ok in places and some bits I did enjoy it just also felt very over the top as well and unbelievable and I really had to work hard at suspending my disbelief. I won’t be reading any more of this series if they all read like this one it’s probably not going to be my thing.
This book is more like a wishful fantasy fairy tale. I am used to suspending my disbelief but this book asked too much.
The h has the usual terrible backstory that makes her sweet and innocent and broken, but the desire of all men. And I do mean all. There isn't a man in this book that doesn't have to restrain himself from attacking her the moment they lay eyes on her. The H is the pres of a motorcycle club. He's vicious, cold, a murderer. Except all we see is the squishy teddy bear who loves his daughter and new wife. And Insta love. Give me a break. in an instant, this guy goes from using women as a hole to loving, honoring and respecting his "soul mate" the h. Pu-leeez. These are such "good men with morals". Uh, ok.
The inconsistencies were another annoyance. The club whores are just nice gals who've had a rough life. They love being at the club and sleeping with tons of hot men who treat them like the love of their life. (One of the whores told our h this). When when we hear the men talk they say "the women know the score. They're just here to fill a physical need, nothing more". So they're just one big happy family who are all completely in denial. And the hypocrisy always kills me. The H has an adorable 5 year-old daughter who he loves beyond reason. I'm sure he'd be ok with her growing up and becoming a club whore because they are all consenting adults with high morals and they all know the score.
There are pages and pages of the other women telling the h not to worry about all the women her new hubby has slept with. The women she now has to see and socialize with on a daily basis. They even talk together about how great he is in bed and how they're going to miss having him around. And isn't the h just the luckiest girl around? It was enough to make me throw up a little.
This book is just too good to be true. I am just not buying what this author is selling. I quit at 55% because life is too short to waste on a fairy tale like this one.
A little unrealistic. Especially if the story is a story about MC Club . I realize it’s out of the ordinary but come on , we are not talking about aliens here. You have this hard core mean bastard as a leader sees the angel and it changes him. Ugh come on.
This book was written previously to Dirty Hero. I didn't like it, the h backstory, the writing, even the H that looked to be interesting in book 1 is a bit of an asshole... Doesn't even feel like the same author.
It was a good read but it was not that great either. When I started reading it , I thought this will be an amazing read. I was sadly mistaken. To start out that dark it continued pretty much at a boring rate. Apparently they are MC , I didn't know that when I got this book. But you wouldn't know that if they didn't mention it. There is no action , no suspense , no danger. Well there is danger but it's handled so quickly and without angst that I am disappointed in this book. Don't misunderstand me , it isn't a bad read. I was really curious and continued reading even do I kind of knew it would leave me unsatisfied in the end. But it will only receive a 2.5-3 star rating from me .. They could have made the story with more angst and then it would have deserved a 4 or 5 star rating , sadly it hasn't now …
It was so promising and then everything got solved with a blink of an eye. Also the H contradicted himself. He would say he would have other women on the side, but everyone gushed about how loyal he is? Oh well.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. From page one the author has you hitting the ground running. It had me not knowing what was actually going on. Page after page I gleaned a little more about the situation. This was a heartbreaking story about a young woman, Ashton, who had no say in her life since she was at least four years old. She lived and breathed as her father dictated. She lost her mother and did not know why. Ashton's brother, Tyler, tried to help but only succeeded to make things worse. Ashton tried to run from problems and her father was gunning for her whereabouts. Her father made a pack with the devil with his daughters life and virginity. Tyler made a deal with a rogue group of former Navy Seals and military men that formed a motorcycle club to protect his sister from her father and from the creep who wanted her virginity in marriage. The leader of the MC Ryder, when he first saw Ashton he knew he met his soulmate and would do anything to keep her safe. This book keeps you guessing page after page turning to find out what happens next. A very good read.
Well, that was a bummer. I did finish it, but I skimmed a really large portion. The story had potential, but there was poor execution, and I wasn't a fan of the writing.
Tyler has made a pact with a MC to save his sister from their father's sinister plans. Now Ashton is caught between her father and brothers wishes. She was under her father's control for so long, but she knew she could not marry the man he wanted her to. Will Ryder prove to be the better choice?
i actually enjoyed this book, the H was delish and hardcore and yeah he was soppy over his daughter but i have no problem with a dad who is like this over his kids. the h, well what the fuck was she thinking selling her virginity to the club -you never find out which club, and then being gangbanged by 5 guys painfully. hmmm yeah and her brother assisted her to do it. shes surprised she feels like shit afterwards??? really??? what a total fucking idiot this h is. honestly she is so beyond annoying and pathetic.
ok ok so the storyline was totally stupid and implausible. fine, yes there was insta love, yes there were issues about the h having to be around all the club whores he's had sex with. but you dont get in this book the usual level of animosity between the old ladys and club whores (except for kitty of course) you dont get a sense of spitefulness. for me the club whores came across as empowered and in control and charge of their own sexuality much like the bikers are and i loved that.
the start of the book was a first, ive never read a book that starts that way so it was novel for a change.
67% i really wanted to sling my kindle. just stupid and annoying storyline. it almost ruined the book for me cos as if she would even consider the proposition given who her hubby is ffs.
and an award for the most Unrealistic anal sex scene ever. - shes an anal virgin, he has a big dick and he just rams it in and shes loving the slight pain, er yeah right. like screaming and jumping off the bed in agony. ffs write this stuff correctly!!! you make people - esp women think theres something wrong with them cos they too cant take a huge dick in one thrust in the arse with no lube.!!!! just plain annoying and stupid. either the author has never had anal sex or just hasnt a clue what shes talking about.
nothing much biker esque about the book other than it was set in a biker club.
if you can suspend disbelief for much of the book its not that bad a read.
Ashton comes from a wealthy family, her father has plans for her future when she reaches adulthood to better his career however her brother Tyler has mounting debt problems of his own sells his sisters virginity to a men's club to be used and abused which then leads to her freedom as long as she doesn't tell what goes on behind closed doors.
Except her brother sells her again to The Reapers club he says for her own safety from there controlling father but really to clear a debt he owes Ryder the MC boss who has a mission of his own he wants Tyler to for fill for him.
A great introduction into the world of the Twisted Reapers, a group of bikers who are not exactly as they appear they are Government Assinsins who deal with the dregs of society and remove unwanted scum from the world, they create their own rules and are loyal to each other and their families and offer protection to those in need.
Ryder had wanted Ashton as a nanny for his 4 year old daughter Cassie but one look at Ashton he changes his mind and wants her as his wife offering her her freedom when her brother returns but would she want it then?
The chemistry between Ashton and Ryder continues to heat up until it combusts with passion and lust giving us some really hot scenes. Ryder a tough ex seal has to keep his tough persona up with the club but with Ashton and Cassie he was a gentle. Ashton feels safe and secure within the club until outside influences try to break through, Ryder finds out and will not allow anything to come between him and his new family.
Ashton believes she is broken and damaged and no one will want her. Will Ryder be able to convince Ashton that she is loveable and perfect for his family?
This story is such a page turner and keeps you engrossed and wanting right up to the last page.
Daddy’s Girls by Stella Andrews gets a 4/5 from this non Daddy’s girl.
Ashton was the girl we were left wondering about in Stella’s previous novel Rocked. Ashton was young, naïve and about to change her life in the biggest way possible. Left to the clean up man she now finds herself on the way to a new protected life as a wife and mother.
Ryder is a badass, no one messes with him or his motorcycle club. He loves his little girl and wants only the best for her. When he sees Ashton he knows what he needs to do, not only to protect her, but to give Cassie the mother she needs and deserves.
I’m still not sure how I feel about MC (Motorcycle Club) book as a genre. I got into this story less for the MC and more for the shear protectiveness of Ryder for his girls. The instant attraction they both felt toward each other. Most other aspects of the MC (aside from the somewhat normal home life of the married members) is a put off for me.
Daddy’s Girls only vaguely felt like a continuous from Rocked, with no even mention of previous characters aside from Donahue, to tie it together. If I hadn’t read Rocked I wouldn’t even know we briefly met Ashton before. It is a good standalone read by the author.
I liked the relationship Ashton developed with Jennifer (and Cassie with Imogene) but wish we had more back story or resolution with her (maybe she gets her own book?). Tyler and Kitty are up next and I will probably give them a shot too. This writer’s style isn’t my favorite but I was a little better keeping up with this novel than Rocked. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel all opinions are my own.
I really enjoyed this book, the plot was great, and even though the main characters in this story comes to a somewhat ending it gives you a hint of things yet to come. Ashton’s brother did sell her twice. The first time he sold off her virginity to a man, to free her from a contract their father made concerning her when she was still in diapers. Unfortunately that did not go as expected. Instead of it being just one man it turned into so much more. Ashton was shattered from the experience. Now he had to sell her once again for her protection. Ryder is the president of the Twisted Reaper MC. He is need of a nanny for his five year old little girl; but when he saw Ashton walk into the club house the game plan was changed. With her looks, and air of innocents about her, the way she handled herself in the stressful situation she now found herself in he decided he wanted her for his wife. ‘ Tyler was taken a back somewhat from this change in plans but Aston trusted her brother and he needed to keep her safe and he knew that she would be safe there. Now the question is will she be able to keep this business arrangement? Will Ryder convince her that she has so much more to give? What about his cute little girl will she finally have her forever mommy or will she be taken away from her? Will Tyler be able to set them free or will she even want to be set free again. This is a great book I loved reading it and about the MC they are a different kind of club just as rough as they come but for different reasons that you the next reader will have to find out about.
A great book from Stella Andrews, it tells a story of Ashton who comes from a wealthy family whose father has plans for her future when she reaches adulthood to better his career however her brother Tyler has mounting debt problems of his own sells his sisters virginity to a men's club to be used and abused which then leads to her freedom as long as she doesn't tell what goes on behind closed doors. Ryder had wanted Ashton as a nanny for his 4 year old daughter Cassie but one look at Ashton he changes his mind and wants her as his wife offering her her freedom when her brother returns but would she want it then? The chemistry between Ashton and Ryder smoulders until it combusts with passion and lust giving us some really hot scenes. Ryder a tough ex seal has to keep his tough persona up with the MC but with Ashton and Cassie he was a pussycat. Ashton feels safe and secure within the MC until outside influences try to break through, Ryder finds out and will not allow anything to come between him and his new family. This story is such a page turner and keeps you engrossed and wanting right up to the last page. I was given this as an ARC from Booksprout in exchange for a honest voluntary review.
I voluntarily received an arc copy of this story for my honest review through Booksprout What a read being sold out twice once by her own brother for a debt and by her father to a rich older man. Now Aston is on the run and her beloved brother has sold her again to protect her. Ryder needs a nanny for his young daughter and Ashton is a perfect fit. Once he sees her he changes the deal and wants her as a wife. Then they both win she gets protection and his sweet daughter gets a mother. He belongs to a MC club that everyone fears.
When we got to know Ryder I absolutely loved him he may be badass, but he is a good man and father and he treated Ashton well. He used to be a navy seal so he is a natural protector.
Ashton I loved her too she is a survivor whom has been through a lot due to her father a man whom was supposed to love and protect her. All he worries are over a business deal. I mean what man sells out his own daughter. Aston immediately falls in love with Cassie Ryder's daughter. I loved the bond that formed between the two she treated that little girl like she was her own.
This story took me through good emotions this was a really good read and I can't wait to read the next story Stella writes. I hope it's Tyler's story or Jennifer I would also love for her to get a story. I give this story five stars and would read it again.

This is one special and unquie story about Ashton and what she must do to survive her father and his plans for her. Ashton has only one person who truly loves her, her brother and he is forced into selling her to the highest bidder to rid her of her virginity to escape the arranged marriage to a horrible old man, her father's business partner. This is a very traumatic event and then not even 24 hours later her needs to find protection from those men along with hiding her from their father. Ashton finds herself being hired as a nanny to one of the scariest men, Ryder who is the President of the MC Twisted Reapers. Most of the men are ex military and their work has ties with the government making them untouchable. Once Ashton walks into the MC and Ryder sees her, her fate has been sealed and she does not even know it. Ashton is told that to stay safe she will marry Ryde and become his old lady and a mom to his daughter, Cassie. Also Ryder promises he will not take a thing from her until she begs for it! Ryder is ruthless and once he has all the facts about why Ashton ends up on his doorstep he makes plans to get revenge on the men who hurt her and to keep her safe from her father, forever! The MC Reapers are my favorite MC story and I can not wait to read the other stories, I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This MC book surprised book me. It was not just sex or brutal men riding motorcycles. It showed Ryder, the head of the Twisted Reapers MC, a motorcycle gang. Ryder appeared to be hard and twisted. Yes, he was hard, made so by his life experiences in the military and then as a government hired assassin. Even the the men in the Reapers are not the brutes I expected them to be. They are loyal to Ryder and each others and do their job with no complaints. They have all they need with he Reapers: wives, families, and the loyalty of men like them. The single men have whatever they want as do the single women, who are all there because they first needed to be there. They finally chose to be there and be with whomever they wanted.
We see Ryder as he falls in love with Ashton who has been brutalized by men in high places. He married her and makes her the mother of the person who means the world to hum, his daughter Cassie.
He didn't force himself on her but handled her business until she learned to come to him. He protected her father and all that come against her.
This book is a standalone but part of a series; and, I can't wait to read the other books in the series. There is some steamy sex but not as descriptive or graphic as some found in contemporary love stories.
Loved it. Ashton deserves to be loved. Her father has promised her as a virgin bride to a business acquaintance & treats her like a commodity not a daughter. In an attempt to help his sister save herself Tyler sells her virginity at an auction. Sadly this doesn't go quite the way they planned & poor Ashton is badly abused. Broken & running out of time Ashton is taken by Tyler to the only place he knows will keep her safe. Originally she thinks she is hiding out & taking the job of a nanny to a 5 year old motherless child. Ryder immediately falls in love with Ashton at first sight. He has an immediate consuming passionate love for her & need for her physically. He changes the rules of the protection & demands that Ashton marries him & becomes mother to his child. Reluctantly Ashton & Tyler agree knowing they really have no choice. Ryder though treats her like an Angel both in & out of the bedroom. He loves her totally & sees only Ashton. He worships her & she no longer has to please her cruel father & fear the lecherous man she is promised to. Throw into the mix Ryder's cute 5 year old daughter Cassie & the fact that he's president of a gang of ex military types turned bikers & this is one hot read.
This is the 2nd book of Stella Andrews that I have read and I have not been disappointed. You have Ryder the head of the MC Reapers, ex badass military men who have some of the most powerful people in their power and are feared or better yet dreaded. Ashton the emotionally abused and used daughter of a ruthless father who will do anything for profit including selling his daughter to his partner who is his age with stipulation she must be a virgin. Tyler her brother who she ran to when she decided to sell her virginity to the highest bidder hoping to buy her freedom that way, did not end well physically or emotionally for her or Tyler. Then Tyler takes her to Ryder for protection as his daughters nanny, but as soon as Ryder sees Ashton he wants her as his wife, so he got her and she got all the power of the Reapers for her protection. Trust me, you will not be able to stop reading until you reach the end. Loved it and awaiting the next book!

In this book we meet Ashton & Ryder. Aston is trying to get out of the life that has been planned for her. Little did she know when doing this she would be jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Ashton is determined to live a better life though and she hopes by aligning herself with Ryder this can happen. Ryder takes one look at Aston and knows that he has found his baby girl's new mamma. He is determined to give his Cassie the best that is out there. What happens though when feelings are involved will they both have their hearts desire or will outside forces break them?
This is an amazing book that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. There are many twists and turns in this book. I want to tell you all about them but don't want to ruin the book for any other readers. I will say this book will touch you in ways you never expect. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
I began reading the author’s other series of Five Kings and wondered where is Ryder? In the last book of Five Kings with King Maxim and Queen Cassie, Ryder is an integral part of the storyline and successful rescue of their kingdom. I was happy to find his book. The other reviewers were not happy about this story and the abuse of Ashton. We, the readers, don’t really get the full story on the villains until the end but yes it is not easy to accept what happened to Ashton. I questioned why not go to The Reapers first and not those vile powerful men. That was the author’s choice. Ryder was respectful to Ashton and he did not just take her. Ashton asked him and told him when she was ready to revisit intimacy. Ryder was stand up for Ashton. He took charge and stood up for her like no one else in her life has. Even her brother Tyler didn’t make the best choice on selling her innocence. Again, Tyler should have went to Ryder first. It’s a good story but not for the faint of heart. Read On!
